Best halls & value for money, would really recommend if you don’t want to spend loads on halls but want somewhere lively as it’s such a good place to live. Staff are really caring & sort out issues quickly, easy to meet up with people and I barely heard noise from other flats the time I was there. Perfect location and there are lots of socials in the common room & things going on all the time. B block is the louder side

I have been trying to get a refund of money I have in my UniteAccount for 2 and a half months and still I havent seen a single pound nor a confirmation from them saying when I will get my money back. Would not recommend Purbeck House if you dont want to stress about money issues and transactions.
Purbeck is 100% the party halls of BU, the courtyard makes it easy to meet friends in the first couple of weeks. B block is also the superior block no lie
Great accommodation! Could not say anything bad about this place at all. I spent my first year here and had the best time ever. The rooms are a great size, single beds, but still a modern and homely feel. Internet was brilliant and super reliable. Price is cheaper than most but doesn't feel cheap at all. I recommend choosing a room above Floor 3 and in B Block for a bigger kitchen and better view.

Purbeck is the best accommodation if you're looking for a lively one. Predrinks are always the best there, even others from different accommodation agree. It has a homely feel to it. During my time there I've made a giant group of friends living the building. Very close to all the clubs only a short walk. The staff are friendly and always helpful. There are only 3 downfall, which is the wifi kinda bad but so are most accommodations, the walls are pretty thin and the lifts can break. However, if I had to choose again where to live. I wouldn't choose anywhere else and highly recommend it.
Covid-19: Cancelled the contract.
The security in halls was 24/7 they were never intrusive and always friendly, they would often have a laugh with us. They deal with any complaints swiftly and are always there to help. My particular flat had very dated furniture in the living areas although they were in the process of renovating some things in other flats.
Unite students came into my room this morning while I was asleep, without notice and then threatened to throw me out the window. No joke. I'm on the 11th floor.
Try and get a corner flat on floor 4 and above they are the best kitchens. 6 bedroom flats are definitely worth it more space 2 fridges and 2 sinks trust me you need it!! Get a good mobile plan because WiFi sometimes goes down. Location is amazing!!! Near beach, Asda, bus stop and not far from other accoms. Higer floors (floor 9) have weird bathrooms (no locks and no shower head) I lived on floor 4 and would say it's a pretty safe bet. Block A can't get into block B but there is always someone in the courtyard. Overall great experience living in Purbeck visited other halls and they really don't have the same fun atmosphere as Purbeck. Laundry is very pricey £3 for a basic wash which doesn't include dryer and there isn't many washers either.
Lots of fit girls and parties. Would recommend
I have been living here for 5 months at the moment and i completely love it here, i’m so in love with my room, and have made it completely my own place, there’s so much storage and my kitchen/lounge is such good size too. it’s in such a good area with everything so close by, and the nightlife is nearby and so good, with purbeck being known for pre drinks. highly recommend living here i love it so much and feel so safe and comfortable
A terrible place to live in. Very loud music and very obnoxious people. They won't let you sleep until 4 am, and security does nothing to put an end to this. If you want to party 24/7 and have alcoholic and drug addicts around you, this is your place. If not, avoid this place.
Loved every minute of halls. I wish I could have lived there for the full 4 years.
The worst accommodation. Just trying get your money. No proper service, manager does not know about anything
Didn't stay in halls for masters but did for undergrad and it was good.
Great halls that give the opportunity for everyone to become friends.
Basically, the most shabby rundown accommodation out of the lot I've seen, but the centre of everything you'll want as a student in Bournemouth with the best atmosphere.
It is in the perfect location to go into town and right by a bus stop for uni but for the price of it the accommodation itself is very basic and now particularly nice.
Lovly space to stay, although this is the building for all the party's. You can often hear music coming for other rooms in the halls around you at 3 in the morning!
If you are lucky enough to get good housemates, then it's a pretty decent place to stay. It's got easy access to town and across the road from the bus stop to uni. The flats are pretty modern, but the seats in the kitchen /common room area are the most uncomfortable things ever!
Best halls in Bournemouth or closeness to night life and bus routes. But the company behind it, Unite will bleed you dry of any money you have. Be weary when you move in and take photos of everything. But apart from that it will be the best experience of your life!
staff are poor and try every trick in the book to get money off of you, a girl in my flat broke one stool which were very old anyway and on there way out and we got charged £32 for that single stool! Also over Christmas we forgot to take the bins out and got charged £40 for this, although the location is unbelievable being waking distance from all nightclubs, pubs, beaches and so close to other uni halls as well so all of your mates are very close! Socially amazing, but unfortunately I believe you'd get ripped off at the majority of university halls you will move into nowadays
the halls was great fun having everything in walking distance, excellent value for money however it was always quite a mess, but what do you expect for students who are constantly going out? Town and the beach are close and the coop and Asda are a minute walk away, Bournemouth has excellent hall accommodation which are all on the bus routes which makes first year such a doss!
