I have had an enjoyable experience at University so far. During the Welcome Fest, some students were allocated as 'heroes', making themselves available to people who needed any form of support or had any queries. There was an abundance of these welcome heroes and they were very helpful, offering a warm greeting, answering queries, and showing you around. All campuses are modern, well-kept, lots of facilities, and all staff members that I have communicated with so far, including librarians, clerks, and securities have been extremely warm and helpful. I particularly appreciate the SafeZone App which allows you to reach out to emergency assistance which will activate an alarm that security officers will see and offer immediate assistance. The University provides multiple events and activities, and there is a vast range of scoieties one can join, including lots of sports and physical activity, art, gaming and discussion and support groups.

Nice university, great library system
Really enjoying my time here, everyone has been incredibly welcoming as a first year and I can't wait to continue my studies here.
The university has great facilities and new opportunities always arise for people when and if they want something new
The campus seems to keep up to a high standard and is easy to navigate to classes. The clubs are a good way to meet people and enjoy some clubs such as D & D. Wi fi is ok
Facilities on campus are great
Yhings are okay. Could be better.
All campuses are good and comfortable places to be in
Really great facilities for any needs
I am happy I chose UOD as the lectures are really insightful. The lecturers are really supportive and I really like Criminal Law
I am delighted to share how exceptional my halls manager is; their unwavering support and guidance have truly made a significant impact on my professional journey. Their commitment to fostering a positive work environment is unmatched, consistently providing encouragement and constructive feedback that has helped me grow and thrive in my role. Beyond their managerial duties, they actively advocate for professional development opportunities, ensuring that every team member has the resources and support needed to succeed. Their approachability and willingness to listen make them not only an effective leader but also a trusted mentor. I am incredibly grateful to have such a supportive manager who genuinely cares about my success and well-being.
Great experience, no complaints.
Home away from home, Happy and peaceful living at the Flamsteed court without the headache of worrying over commute in unpredictable weather times.Friendly staff and lecturers at uni.
Overall pretty good university
The university get it done with many campuses across derby
Excellent student residence, feels like your second home. The managers and the Hall Manager are always at your disposal for any problems or if you need anything. The environment is harmonious and you can study in complete silence. The facilities and services as well as the laundry room are always organized and clean. The location of the building is in the heart of the centre so it is easy to shop and you can walk around at any time without fear. I am personally very happy to have stayed in such an organized and well-kept dormitory as a student!
Great location!! And the best management team make you feel welcome.
Amazing! I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here!
Lovely uni. Lots of facilities, amazing library and friendly, helpful staff. Great sense of community too.
Very good accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff. They put a lot of effort in when matching you up with flat mates. Very good location. Always kept clean and tidy. Great facilities with the gym and cinema room
Wonderful university!!! Having the best time!
The university is situated in a very accessible place and ensures that you have access to and from university.
The uni is really good. I have been able to access my course well and any issues I have were resolved quickly. The WiFi however is not reliable with phones and mac from what I have experienced
Campus is very new and has a good amount of facilities with friendly staff
Great facilities and very helpful staff.
The campus is decent. There is a GP for students in the campus which is great! There's enough option for food, with a Subway, Starbucks and several other cafes. The campus has a large library as well as a book shop, student services and a shop for snacks, drinks and other small items. Several events and businesses are brought into the atrium to sell items or bring opportunity every week. Overall, the campus is pretty good.
Good experience with the university so far
Campus facilities are great! There needs to be more clubs/societies.
Good uni but improvements can be made
University of Derby is really nice, everything is easy to find and the student ambassadors are so friendly and helpful.
Meh it's not the worst I've seen but could be improved
good range of courses and good facilities
University of Derby, is a good uni the staff are helpful l

It is all the same to the halls the only issue is the WiFi the campus and the activities provided are really good
Always lots of activities and events on.
Amazing DnD scene, awsome staff 👌
Good uni, main campus is well kept and smaller campus is lovely and quiet
Great experience, I am more than happy with my choice
University of derby is big and has loads of places to buy food from the library staff are also lovely and has a book shop there which I love
Helpful and friendly staff, good range of modules
The main University Campus includes many facilities including student coffee shops, Starbucks, and a Subway however, it can be very busy and difficult to find help if lost. There isn't designated staff located around the building who can help so this can be difficult at the start. But the Campus is massive including the library which has up to 4 floors and hundreds of books. It has shops and vending machines dotted around the site which means its the perfect place to study and get involved
I enjoyed my time at the university of Derby but I do not feel that they have put everything they can into the uni. I do not remember having the student union be prevalent during my time. It seems that most of funding for societies only goes into sport.
Getting to and from the university has been a breeze and made easy now that I’ve moved to derby.
uni of derby is a student-centred uni, I can get help whenever I need and there are a lot of events for international students to attend
Has been a good experience so far and everyone’s very friendly plus the sports facilities are top tier
All the campuses are great my only grievance is that the library isn't 24hrs, as someone who is a bit of a night-owl a space that's open overnight is really a necessity and with the exception of a few weeks before Christmas and in April the UoD library isn't and its a pain having to travel to Nottingham just to utilise a proper study space in the late/early hours.
Very good university for all students.
I love the uni, there’s a good support system when it comes to needing additional support and a variety of opportunities to choose from
This university is really great, I don’t regret it picking as my first choice
The university is so great, I have no regret picking this university.
The teachers are lovely and they are easy to understand
The university is great place to study
My experience at this university has been extremely wonderful
Its not the biggest campus but it has everything you need.
Good campus, wi-fi, facilities. However, mental health support is not so great. And don't you ever dare report a bullying issue! You, the victim, get the blame or you get even more ostracised. Apart from one tutor, everyone else has ignored my complaint. They made me feel like I was a liar who put the complaint in because of jeaolusy (when, irl, I don't give a d*** what someone looks like on the outside. But if they keep bullying me, I get fed up at the end, no matter who they are. I am not jealous of anyone, I don't give a d*** about the physical appearance crap). This University claims to tackle bullying, but then they make you (the victim) feel like a criminal if you try to stand up for yourself!
Not much to say buts it's okay
I have enjoyed studying at the University of Derby.
It’s okay but there isn’t a lot of support
My experience in Derby has been great!
Good experience so far. Enjoying my crim degree
University of Derby is a lovely and provides many resources such as the library and borrowing laptops. There is always something going on so there is a lot to be involved in.
Good very good I would recommend
the best uni for accounting and finance
great university, lovely people
Wonderful accommodation and great management team.
Would recommend for new students.
Good sports facilities but could be more entertaining campus
It is a good school with lots to offer. Plenty of support from staff and a good place to learn.
Kinda small and average looking main campus but has all the necessities and easy access
Any problems I've had at uni, the university has quickly sorted out for me.
I love it to be honest . But we need more food stores .
I can't say much about the main part of derby uni due to me being a apprentice
More help and assistance should be provided to international students as they are new to the place.
Good, very friendly staff and great facilities. I would highly recommend
Really positive I’ve had a lot of support and have had lots to do in my spare time
Teaching quality can be poor but overall decent
Good university better than others I looked at
Great facilities and nice place to be

Grate place to study, the facilities are really good. Teaching staff acre about students and help them improve there academics
Everything you could want and need in a university from social to sports to support they are great!!!!! University not too far from the city centre with a free bus journey makes all the difference
University of derby my Go to university. I love Uniderby with passion!
It’s a nice quiet uni. I can concentrate
The school has numerous means and platform for students to access in their research, reports and presentation works. Nice reception by teaching and non teaching staff. Students are trained for field work and not just the book knowledge with the necessary practical on field during students academic stay.
Academics wise the university is perfect. Lacking in extra curriculars and actually assisting in keeping it sociable place
Best time here - so accessible with buses & all round been such a good experience! the uni clubs and societies have made me experience so good and the staff are so helpful
This university is very good.Good access and opportunities. As well as friendly staff and brilliant library team that are supportive and provide amazing resources and many workshops to enhance your skills and ability. This course is good for radiography as the assessments and content ensure we meet the HCPC standards and ensure we are skilled to be competent health care professionals. The placement is very good as we are rotated around many hospitals which include main hospitals, community hospitals, emergency hospitals and private hospitals. This is particularly good to gain experience in different settings and build on adaptation skills. During placements there are competencies and assessments to complete which allows to ensure we are confident and competent health care professionals with interpersonal skills. This university provides great opportunities to practice before placement such as VR and xray rooms to practice. The tutors are all brilliant and supportive.
A very good university with great quality of teaching
Fantastic University, quality teaching, one-on-one and outstanding career guide from tutors.
I love university of derby, good facilities and good staff
University of Derby, good place to study
