Love the uni, great social life
Enjoying my time at University, integrating myself into so many different activities and building community
Medical school faculty is really enthusiastic. But in my opinion except for fresher's week there's not much opportunity/not enough information on signing up to new clubs/societies. Still, the sports and socs I do now are good and allow me to connect with like-minded people. Signal and wifi connection is a bit of a headache on both Bay and Singleton Campuses, and my biggest issue is the fact that Swansea Uni is a 'green' uni but there is very poor public transport links between city centre/both campuses PLUS bringing your own car is very difficult to manage- either parking is expensive, or you risk getting tickets in exchange for possibly free but unsecure parking. If your campuses are going to be that far away from each other, the transport links HAVE to be more robust. Excluding that, so far it's a good start to University life in Swansea- definitely an underrated and underappreciated university, and personally I think Swansea medical school is shaping up to be really special.
