Great experience here living at Salford
Very good place to come and live as a starting uni student.
This is an Amazing place to be.
Really good university with great recourses
Loads of options to choose from, from horse riding to basketball and everything in between. Sadly, i couldn't find the one for me perhaps because of the people. Also note the internet is bad.
My biggest issue around campus has been with the internet, it’s spotty and really unreliable. Difficult to clock into a lesson when you can’t access the internet
Everything is pretty good. Some clubs and societies are not very well organised whilst others are.
Everything is accessible and easy to use, the events held in the reception are a really good way to meet new people.
Not enough facilities to help with getting.a job
Excellent learning environment
Really good I like the place it's a lot of fun
Good uni with a good range of facilities
It’s a great university for students who want a different career path then what they usually see around them on day to day life
I’m not very active in some areas but the university is great

Fantastic university, loads of great opportunities for meeting new people and bettering job prospects.
So far I have loved everything there is to do on campus however I struggle to get my laptop connected to the university WiFi so its hard to do work on site
The real highlight for me at Salford is their societies, which provide a great place to socialise
I have loved being a student of the University of Salford because they provided adequate facilities, the teachers are lovely and always down to explain more if you ask.
Nice university! Lecturers are all friendly and respectful

I like the university of Salford as it offers my preferred course.
I had a great time in all the lectures and seminars. Salford University is also a beautiful campus.
Generally what a Uni should be, not too much shining factors but not too much dreary factors either
Wish there was more part time jobs
The university has a very welcoming feel and lovely lecturers to learn from and amazing sociable areas such as atmosphere
Very friendly staff and everything is extremely accseasabke
i love this university as the course is very well explained and the staff here are very welcoming
Good university, social activities are literally nonstop
The only thing I can complain of is the wi-fi in Media City, it's always disconnecting for some reason. And maybe the fact that most events are tailored to undergrads - not much is compatible with my master's schedule, so maybe more events for master's students? and international students?
Good experience overall, ………..
Campus is easy to get to and navigate. Buildings are accessible with plenty of places to eat and chill out. SU is helpful with many services that can help out with any issues you may have.
terrible internet but everything else is pretty good
The university loves me, and I love the university.
Great Uni, good facilities, helpful staff with amazing opportunities for students.
great university to study at, access to alot of technology and materials and as an architect student this is extremely helpful !
My experience at university has been really positive. The lecturers are supportive, the campus is modern, and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved in different activities. I’ve learned a lot and met amazing people along the way.
perfect quiet university not to packed and very big spaces
It’s a good uni with really good amenities
Lots of opportunities for media students
where do I even start. This uni is an absolute joke. I’m speaking for the health and society department but it probably applies to all departments lol. The staff are racist as hell and arrogant. I have had multiple racist experiences in placement and with staff in uni, in which I have gained no support from and have been gaslighted and silenced. Right now, I have been receiving racist abuse from staff yet AGAIN because I made a complaint from my placement on how they were being covertly racist. It seems as if staff/non-black people were triggered by me speaking out so they had to accuse me of something. Some of the staff should have been kicked out from the way they are ableist, racist etc. The health and society department looks trash compared to the rest of the uni. No wonder Salford doesn’t have the best reputation. Honestly, I hope Africans get the message that they do not care for African students and just want us to suffer and fail.
Good love this space very entertaining
Great university, love the campus
Was very good and safe. Lots of new people
Perfect, university to make a name for yourself
I have had an excellent experience at University. The campus is modern, well-maintained, and provides everything a student could possibly need to succeed — from state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories to well-equipped libraries and comfortable study spaces. The university’s facilities are not only impressive in quality but also easily accessible, making day-to-day learning smooth and enjoyable. The staff and faculty are highly supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about students’ academic and personal growth. The university also offers a variety of extracurricular activities, clubs, and sports facilities that help in developing skills beyond academics. The environment here is vibrant, inclusive, and truly international, which has enriched my overall learning experience. I am grateful to be part of such a forward-thinking institution that prioritises both education and student well-being. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a well-rounded, world-class education.
I don’t like it , would not recommend
Its really a good university to study in
Enjoyed my stay here, best accommodation
I love my uni, the staff are all very friendly and interesting, the facilities are great and the location is nice and near Manchester centre
I'm very glad I chose this uni the atmosphere is great and it's a very pretty campus to be on
Overall a good university and really approachable staff
Good university with helpful staff and a great social location!
Campus facilities are great however the connivence shop located by the library which is the closest store to peel park is expensive even for everyday items and shuts quite early on weekdays and weekends.
great uni loving my time there
My experiences is that I dont get any trouble, everyone is really nice. And it is a all friendly orientated campus
Excellent - Love the people and it has made me feel more independent
I’ve managed to meet friends for life here and have enjoyed every moment. Almost Famous, musical theatre society has been my all time favourite, such a great environment.
The facilities are great and options are endless.
Had an amazing experience..very good
Good first year experience thought that the social aspects are better then they are made out to be
amazing campus, societies are great and inclusive
It was a great experience, staff are always ready to assist
My University Lecturers informed me with a lot of information surrounding campus facilities, student union, careers advice, etc. As well as, following the University social pages and Student union social pages
Compass is really clean and lovely to walk round. I really enjoy being close to the park as it gives a nice green space to sit and relax after and between lectures.
Its alright, nediacity campus is good
First 2 years of uni were bad, everything was still recovering from COVID, we weren't being taught anything but as soon as a different person took it over things got a lot better
I love my experience with the societies and the club I have joined, the su is also really useful and give out a lot of amazing things
Glad I came to Salford! Such an incredible atmosphere!
Good range of sports clubs and facilities on campus for music eg
Living in Peel park was the best decision
The exposure you need. The best.
A great uni with lots of different things to do. Lovely campus
Always loads going on in the Student Union, great for socialising and meeting new people
Lots of different opportunities to get involved and lots of great societies
I have no complaints when it comes to any of the facilities on campus.
I like University of Salford a lot for my course because everything is there to accommodate my needs. We have good libary spaces, good facilities and excellent teaching staff ( I study Graphic design). WiFi is a bit tricky to access at times but overall is very good
amazing accommodation for the price, i’ve already booked my room for next year. the staff are so lovely, catering, and on top of things, they’re all incredible.
Good experience for first year. Each of the facilities available to me as a student and as an individual were better than expected and better than what I saw compared to other unis I visited prior.
Simons been really helpful, the best guy
Worst University to ever attend. The staff are discriminative, aggressive and have no professionalism at all. If I could save anyone from the experience I have that is what I would like to do. Especially if you are considering doing the Adult nursing course, I do not recommend this university. The tutors have done nothing but put more obstacles during my time at this university, targeted me causing me anxiety and panic attacks whilst dismissing any concerns I arise with them. The tutors have always made it their mission to single me out and give me criticism when my class have done the same things as me and only received praise. I have not got one good thing to say about my experience at this University and I advise anyone I come into contact with to stay well away unless you wish to gain mental problems and unnecessary stress.
