I think we should and a few more society’s that are less sports based, may be like musical theatre for example!!
It’s fun ayayyayayayayaya aofmfnjd atatga nooooo I can’t add morne
slay nice great your mum hot chocolate
Excellent service. I am truly impressed.
perfect location and people lots to do
Very good open access and activities
It is a good university that has a lot to offer
not too many clubs but great campus location
Campus facilities are good however it would be good to have more Macs and computers capable of running software such as davinci resolve in the library. Some buildings are fairly outdated. Great student union but wish there were a few more societies
Very good experience and safe place to start your first year at university
I like it there a lot, amazing library!
Facilities and equipment are great but difficult to access. Support is good but again not easily accessible. SU events are fun and societies are excellent
The washing and drying machines could do with improvement, for the amount of students using them they are unreliable and low in both quality and quantity. The societies are mostly sport related and don’t cater to everyone’s personal needs but there are a lot of them for sport. The student union is good, cheap drinks and close to living quarters.
Great music facilities with very helpful teachers.
Lovely uni I don’t regret going here great with mental health
Campus is generally quite good, nothing much to complain about
I like the events there are at the Student Union
As an international student, I feel like there could a bit more effort put into creating a space to connect international students. But, overall I enjoy my time here.
I am a first year and my impression so far is amazing! so many opportunitiesss and such friendly staff to guide you through your course!. I have had a great time and can say I’m looking forward to the next 2 years which isn’t anything I thought I’d say toward education
the university career service is most definitely accessible however you have to make yourself aware that it exist as in lectures there is no mention
Good campus, good teaching. No issues so far. Would recommend.
I love the societies, they are the best bits for me but the cheer society needs more funding
The wifi is really unreliable on non-university equipment and the careers service is not very useful from my experience.
I have been chanced to meet with individuals from various backgrounds and being able to learn about their culture has broadened my mindset and helped me see things differently.
my only complain is that i feel as though there could be more clubs and societies that aren't sports related, such as course specific societies
The university of Salford is pretty good
Good experience. The society's and student union are great and there is a big selection to choose from. They provide a great way to meet new people and do the things u love
University of Salford is a top-notched University with excellent learning and research facilities, with very supportive staff too. The great deal is that the Uni is relatively affordable and accepts 7 tuition fee payments installments plan. However the management should provide more comfortable students accommodations especially for postgraduate students and International students.
WiFi good in most spaces although some areas don’t have the best WiFi, very helpful staff and very enjoyable and social experience.
A friendly university which are doing their best to help students have a smooth academic journey.
sometimes the connection for the internet is a bit spotty but usually is okay
Everything's good from what I've heard, not much awareness on everything of what the uni has to offer though
It’s really nice starting here as it feels like home away from home
Alright but not the best. Could improve a lot more
The university of Salford has given me amazing support for not just my course, my mental health and support on encouraging me to find friends. When I joined university I felt a bit isolated and lonely because I moved to a completely different city. I was worried. However I started to attend some crafternoons in the student house and Zumba classes in the Salford gym, and I made some good friends and all of those worries washed away. I started to make friends on my course as Salford gave me the confidence to put myself out there and expose myself to different clubs and activities My experience in Salford has been nothing but pleasant and the course lectures care for your wellbeing and want to support you and see you flourish in the future.
The university pretty much had everything you need, especially with 2 campuses. I really enjoy my time here, but there is always frequent issues with the wifi on both campuses cause sometimes it goes down or depending in which building you are for a lesson the wifi doesnt properly reach that area and the same goes for data too making it almost impossible to get work done
The facilities, specifically at Media City UK are industry standard and will prepare you well for the working world. The equipment store and friendly and happy to help. The lectures also clearly have a lot of experience in their subject area. With the Salford Inspire scheme clubs and societies are easier to afford and therefore access which makes socialising easier. SU events happen regularly and it is clear that there is consideration to represent the student body and celebrate each unique part of it.
The societies I’ve joined and the facilities / services available are amazing, only a slight few things could be improved
Amazing clubs such as student union with brilliant events worth going
No many society’s and the su is okay when events are on
The uni could help students get a part time job along their studies as a job in a city is quite hard to reach for some. I think there could be more of a vast range of societies
Amazing staff super helpful Great room space and looks good Plenty of social activities throughout held by staff
large spacious with excellent facilities
great location and alot of things to do around the uni. bus routes just outside to take you anywhere you need to go and a free bus route to media city that runs very regularly. could not recommend enough
student union is one of my favourite things on campus however the prices are high for a student bar.
All my lectures have been extremely supportive during my time here and I’m so grateful to all of them.
Love that food is easily accesible
I haven't attended SU events but I wish they had more clubs that didn't concentrate on religion or sports like a book club.
Great facilities and opportunities
Overall the uni is very good the size of classes doesn't feel over crowded and you feel like you are able to get help.with studies if you require any
It’s a great university, I really enjoyed my time there
Pretty good. Not many complaints
Love the campus, close to city and the park
Overall, very happy at university. I would suggest some more societies which aren’t sport/religion based but there’s a very good range. The WiFi works well but not between buildings. I haven’t accessed careers so don’t know what that’s like.
My only negative is with the student union. As I’m someone who does not drink I either don’t have much purpose to visit or when I do feel the pressure of having to drink, for example with events like bingo as much fun as they are the pressure of being encouraged to drink with the prizes handed out is not always ideal. However all the drinks are cheap and the food is really nice!
Pretty good all around. Happy with campus and facilities.
The Salford Campus has so many things to offer! A gym, swimming pool, Student union, Cafes a restaurant a bar. I could go on! Different libraries, specific buildings and campuses for different courses such as a hospital facility for nursing students! The students union is always there to help and support everyone, getting people in contact with those who have things in common for example the societies and clubs they run. Careers service help so much with placement and jobs it makes it feel so much less overwhelming! Wi-Fi and internet are also great here so you can study in any location on campus!
The University of Salford is an excellent institution that provides a high-quality education, great facilities, and a supportive learning environment. The university offers a wide range of courses with strong industry links, ensuring students gain valuable practical experience alongside academic knowledge.
Great facilities and great social events
Very good social opportunities including student bar: Atmosphere! Definitely recommend Bandoake each Thursday there!
Wonderful establishment and lovely staff
It's really nice place and I recommend it
I love my uni accommodation because the rooms are spacious and well-equipped, making it feel like a comfortable home away from home. The accommodation is located in a vibrant area, so there are always cafes, shops, and social spots nearby. Plus, the security and support from the accommodation staff give me peace of mind, knowing I'm in a safe and well-maintained environment.
I enjoyed every bit of it It was a nice one
I've really enjoyed my time at Salford University
It is nice to have a careers service. However, the services are very limited and did not help me land my first career and I had to figure it out myself. on the bright side, the 24h livery is a very nice amenity to the school and I have enjoyed studying here.
Clubs and society’s well ran by the students themselves and we always end up at SU after
really like my campus it's all very close together and feels like home
I like It but haven’t had chance to full check out the career services yet
Such a safe environment and everyone is so friendly.
It’s a grate location and very well priced , very safe and one of the best accommodations in the aria and the cheapest
The people are friendly and kind. I study music and enjoy the course. The campus is beautiful
the wifi just doesn’t connect sometimes. it’s really bad in the library no connection at all even though that’s where people do all their studying
Good Univeristy and amazing place, wifi could be better as it keeps logging off but overall, can’t complain
Good, nice campus, feel safe!!
My experience here is very good and I was not expecting that everyone will be so helpful.
My university is good and has good amenities
Incredibly good university, facilities are top tier, with a great campus
Salford university is a good university with lots of offer for students
Excellent university, great campus and they provide lots of opportunities. Great entertainment provided with atmosphere in the students union and an amazing range of societies
Not the best. SU is boring with barely anything going on. WiFi is bad and careers advise is terrible
Too early to tell. Let down by some campus facilities, not been reached out to as much as I’d like about careers advice as that’s mainly why I’m at university.
A great campus great facilities however the careers team wasnt a great help
Overall good uni but didn’t have a society I wanted to join
The university has been great, there is loads of support on offer and the facilities are easily accessible and well laid out.
Great courses, SU and facilities
The staff on my course are so passionate about what they teach, it is infectious! The facilities have aided me with my studies and made an ideal environment for me to work and there is so much the university has to offer its students. This university has truly helped to make my dreams come true and has changed my life for the better. I would recommend Salford to anybody.
There should be more food stalls or cafeterias around campus that serve fresh food. Especially halal
uni is good not amazing also it’s salford don’t forget that
I love university of Salford so much. I’m glad I came here. It’s very inclusive and understandable to learn in, plus I love their events and foods and teachers.
they could add a bit more stuff to do sometimes it gets boring
I feel this is the best university in Manchester which is student friendly. There are many opportunities as a student to participate in various activities to improve your skills and learn about new things
I love the university of Salford because it is not located in the city centre so it is more quieter. The lecturers and staff are ready to help, there is alot of emphasis about Careers and graduate job. The university of salford also has a temporary job agency called Unitemps for Students to get paid part time jobs from.
Very good university friendly staff.
i really enjoy studying at my university it has all the resources i need to be successful in my course and i have lots of help when i need it
Good university with great facilities all easily accessible
Live laugh salford. Cracking times had. Love the SU.
Very good university in a great area, with very supportive staff and lecturers.
Overall pretty good experience
i love the campus especially the green spaces
