I love my society (cheerleading). Campus is nice, clean and easy to navigate. The uni offers excellent careers support

Great university with helpful and open minded faculty
Close to the city so in longer breaks there's enough time to go grab coffee and food. Loads going on all the time and a place for everyone

Whenever there is a problem within the flat, it always gets sorted out immediately.
As an education studies student I value the quality of the library and the campus facilities. I do think there could be a wider range of societies, clubs or social activities that move beyond drinking and partying. The careers team reaches out with opportunities often and keep good contact.
The experience and environment is great at dmu the support staff are also amazing would definitely recommend
My experience has been a mix of highs and lows. While some professors seem burned out and less engaged, others are truly passionate about their subjects and dedicated to helping students succeed. The quality of education largely depends on the individual professor, but overall, the environment is decent. There's definitely room for improvement in faculty support and student resources, but with the right mindset, you can still have a positive academic journey here.
One of the most interactive places I've been to, so involved with their students loads of support fun affordable and free games at the union to which is just so great it's hard to play games without having to pay so it's a lovely privilege
Through my time at DMU I've found it a Better place than I initially thought. The facilities are good. Campus looks great, many societies and clubs to join and I have joined one myself in my previous year. The SU seems to look after Students alright. Truly there is nothing to really complain about. The uni is satisfactory

Really good services available in lecture and careers services.
Safe campus with campus security aswell as multiple facilities including a sports building and canteen. Clean at all times and filled with a wide range of people from different backgrounds. Nicely lit up making it safer for the winter nights and walks back to accommodation. Surrounded by a variety of food places and ideal location close to city centre and many accommodations.

My experience at De Montfort University has been joyful and life-awakening, strengthening my resolution to transform myself into the best version of myself, especially when certain habits impeded my personal and academic growth. The University feels like a second home thanks to the facilites’ convenient proximity for study and people I met throughout the time in classes and societies. Opened new relationships and exciting stories I have heard that keep me on the hook and ever-expecting of more as I navigate through my course. I thank De Montfort University and hope it will continue to contribute to my growth, personal and professional for the remainder of my course’s duration.
Very good place to stay, close to to my university, also staff like meghan, Scarlett and kainaat are very kind and friendly, would definitely recommend to a friend.

Amazing University, a lot of help available, alongside a large variety of clubs and societies.
DMU is a great university and extremely diverse. There are numerous societies to join and events to go to. A few days ago there was a big Monster truck on campus handing out Monster energy drinks for free; I remember last year the same thing was done but for Coke cans. I think little things like this are what make the university interesting; it brings a sense of fun and excitement. The university is also very good at handing out career advice; I, for one, was very anxious about how to go about getting the career path I am ambitious about. However, students are constantly reinforced with an amazing Careers Advice Team alongside Career Fairs and tips on how to write excellent CVs.
Veryyy good university good environment
De Montfort university is definitely one of the top university in terms of their specialties in different subjects such as a dedicated law library for Law students. Furthermore, the student union are really helpful around campus and should you have an issue , they are able to help. The lecturers are very supportive and are able to help you at anytime should you also drop them an email. The campus overall is very vibrant and lively , and it is definitely a recommendation to those university students who wish to join the university P.s Freshers week is amazing on campus and around the city itself 😃

DMU is a diverse, warm and welcoming university. I am currently a second year and I feel very safe and supported. The tutors are fantastic and so is the wellbeing team :)

You have to go and step out of your comfort zone, but once you do that it is a great place and very sociable place.

Love it here so much to do, everyone is so friendly
So far my experience has been a good one. I’ve met new people from several courses during freshers week and also more friends on my course who I get on very well with. I’m also a part of the hockey society so I’ve met some nice people through that too. The teachers so far seem helpful and understanding.
I am a art student at dmu and the facilities are incredible with many opportunities to branch out and explore a range of new technologies and techniques in the various workshops.
De Montfort university provides a very unique student experience with experienced lecturers in all subject area’s ensuring students are provided with quality education. Furthermore, the university has been an exceptional careers team which assist with the search of placements, internships and graduate roles for post graduation. During my time at DMU, I was given the opportunity to complete a placement year thanks to great support by the careers team including 1:1 meetings to discuss roles, CV reviews and interview preparation support. The university is equipped with great facilities such as the library with private study rooms and booths, and computer services. The Business and Law building also is equipped with state of the art trading room for Finance students interested more in trading and the London stock exchange market.
It's a great stay experience. The apartment is well-equipped and the security is serious and responsible

It’s been a month into living at Code and I think it is a very good accommodation. The rooms are very nice, fitted to a high standard and with everything you could need. The position is great, being very near the centre of the city as well as many different shops. The staff are very helpful and always respond to any issues promptly. Overall, I would definitely recommend Code as a place to live whilst studying.
