A good uni, though not very consistent across departments. The city is amazing and teachers good, but it had made no effort at all to offer reparations to students after we have lost at least 5 full weeks of teaching (and A LOT of money) due to strikes.
to be honest, i didn’t enjoy first year. maybe that’ll change, maybe it won’t, but at the moment i’m on the fence about my time here.
It's a good experience to study mathematics here. The subjects are useful, the teaching resources are abundant, and I also have lots of free time for my hobbies. Much better than the experience in China.
Bristol university buildings are situated in the heart of the city centre allowing you to study right in the thick of it all. Multiple coffee shops and lunch spots are within a few minutes walk of most university buildings. There’s also multiple libraries available to students with varying views of the city making it a nice environment to study in.
Good facilities but often crowded study areas
Teachers here are all professional and kind. The technical equipments they provided helped a lot.
The univeristy of Bristol creates a very safe welcoming space for students and I feel like I am getting an excellent education combined with being in an amazing city

Amazing university with amazing facilities.
I am currently studying postgraduate at the University of Bristol, which has been my dream university since my undergraduate days. It has high teaching quality, good campus environment, good academic reputation, and serious and responsible professors. It is a very good school.

A good place to study. However, as a student from innovation centre, I have a lot of complain about the assessment. Too many team work make people have to struggle with free rider.That's so awful!

Our school is really beautiful. And the education quality is good.
Overall I think the learning experience here is good. But I think some of the young lecturers here are just reading powerpoint, which is disappointing.

Very decent social life. Poshness very exaggerated but still present etc. Pick first year accom wisely as social life varies massively between halls sometimes. Lecturers variable but first year the might just give us the bad ones. Good sense of student community with lots of societies and stuff to do in the city. Expensive tho
Fantastic University in a great location! Perks of living in a big city with everything on your doorstep so very convenient but also surrounded by students so you get the best of both worlds!

Nice university. Staff are available at regular times, and are helpful. Marking sometimes takes a while, which is annoying, and the wifi sometimes plummets for a few minutes.

Bristol is an amazing city and a Gr university couldn’t be better, the facilities and services Rae great, however I would like to see the students Union have a bigger impact on IFP students and the IFP as a whole
The wills memorial building is very pleasing to the eyes, having most of my classes there as a law student has been something I’m grateful for.
The accommodation was fantastic! Clean, comfortable and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay!

Some lecturers don’t reply emails to answer your questions. And the strike always happen every year, and there’s no refund from the uni. Apart from that, it’s not too bad. Overall, the uni experience is good.

The only problem I have is the wifi access, students have to download the extra app for it, which cause the phenomenon that most of them use the guest wifi instead.

As a university, Bristol is very good. The facilities are top notch and staff are very helpful. But take what I say with a pinch of salt as I was a chemistry student, so my positive views apply to staff members and how much they cared for students.
Cloth to the campus and the city center
I am a PhD student at the University of Bristol, and as part of my doctorate studies I moved to London for one year to join the amazing The Alan Turing Institute. I found The Institute a very vibrant and creative place where bright ideas start.
This university has professional and friendly teachers. I think I have had a pleasent experience here.
Honestly one of the best school experience I’ve ever had - and I have 1 bachelors and 2 masters! I was in the psychology department under experimental psychology, the professors there are lovely, so are the staffs. Student well-being service also helped me through a lot after I had an eye inflammation during the summer. Great university, great professors, great city to live in. People are amazing. Overall a lovely experience that allowed me to grow academically, professionally, and personally.
This university is racist, discriminatory and colonialist. They have forced me to accept a degree certificate with a British-style shortened version of my name rather than listing my full name on my degree certificate. I provided them with plenty of legal documents showing that this was my full legal name at the time of graduation, but they refused and insisted on issuing a certificate with a British-style shorter name.
This university has good teachers and friendly students. You can get a good education here. And the location of the school is convenient and safe.

Bristol uni is definitely one of the best unis in the UK. The study experience is generally good, although a bit tough cause we are expected to reach a high level. There are a lot of activities organised by the student union and the uni, you can easily find your interest and activities suitable for you whatever backgrounds you have. Overall, I would highly recommend Bristol uni and I feel proud to study here.
Generally great and professors are nice. Also the student union would sometimes offer discounted trip tickets and some events for the students.
I have to say that MH improves my life quality in Bristol because I do not worry about any errands except studying! I am not concern about that my food was stolen cas there was individual fridge for everyone. I do not need to worry about clean in a week routine cas there was a timely and professional house keeping service every week. The apartment was so brilliant! Every friend who has visited my apartment praises here a lot and expresses their envy to me for the prompt service for any time once we need, even the gym and entertainment place underground. The staff, sorry I didn’t ask their name, but I appreciate them so much cas all of them take care of us all the year! I will recommended MH to anyone who are gonna come! You can focus on your stuff, learning, working, without dealing with any errands.
Campus has many study space for study and group meeting and student union organise many different events, career service also planning many lectures to help students.
