Really good freshers welcome activities. Need more study spaces during exams though!

The university provides excellent support services to us as international students, including social and academic events.
The university is aware of which areas need modernising and is working to achieve this. Places like the Senate House study building are amazing and the the WiFi is mostly reliable!
My time so far at Orchard Heights has been wonderful. I’m really impressed with the receptionist who works here Jack. In my time here Jack has been extremely helpful in every possible way you could think. He has a deep appreciation and understanding of the many cultures that live in this building and seems to know so much about my native Iraq, which I’ve never seen before in a British person. He’s taught me so much about his native city and guided me to many great establishments that an Iraqi like myself would appreciate. His love for helping people, diversity and other cultures is seccond to none.
Amazing university! A lots of green area and welcoming staff
Have had issues with WiFi in the past but seem to have been resolved and works good now. Everyone is very friendly and lecturers are always happy to answer questions. The SU has lots of events on and good advertising. Lots of really nice and comfy social spaces but sometimes struggle to find a seat, especially at lunch. Similarly, the libraries and spots to do work in are a really good environment to study in. I am really enjoying my time here.
I wanna express my gratitude to Marilou, the reception team member. When my wardrobe door broke, she came over right away to check it out and helped me get in touch with a repair person. The door’s all fixed now—huge thanks to her!

Jack is the best receptionist. I would like to congratulate him and get the management to acknowledge his help towards us Greek/Cypriots especially.
PRETTY GOOD EXPERIENCE AS A FIRST YEAR
the campus facilities are too crowded most of the time which means while they are nice it’s really hard to access them - there needs to be more. The student union and clubs are good and inclusive and there’s a wide variety.
Love the university, its such a welcoming place and I feel really well supported by both the professors and the students around me. They really make the city what it is!

Lovely campus, with loads of societies and events that you will never fell lonely and bored. Interesting courses and supportive schools.
I think the university it's self is a great place and an amazing organisation. However, the career services really need alot of work and are very unhelpful

There is a good accommodation environment and network, and the atmosphere for studying and living is also very good
The campus is stunning and offers a great mix of historic and modern buildings. The facilities, such as libraries and study spaces, are sufficient and well-maintained. However, the U1 bus service needs improvement. It stops operating after 4 or 5 PM, which is inconvenient for students attending evening classes or staying late at the library. Additionally, the bus starts at 9 AM, making it challenging to get to 8 or 9 AM classes on time.The variety of clubs and societies is exceptional, providing endless opportunities to explore new interests and meet people. I joined the Gliding Club, which has made my student life so much more meaningful and exciting. The vibrant community here ensures there’s something for everyone, no matter your passion or background.While the wifi is generally reliable in most places, accessing it for the first time is overly complicated. You need to download additional software which can be frustrating. Some lecture halls also have poor connectivity.

Fantastic university the facility’s and support from lecturers and careers staff has been great. Very helpful online sessions and meeting that can be booked to discuss career advancement and cv/applications. Would definitely recommend!

The wifi sometimes randomly stops working for 1-2 mins at a time for me, however I don't know if that's a fault with my equipment. I use a cable for Internet
There's no place I love more than being in Bristol as a student of UoB

The kitchen and the apartment are great. It's easy to cook with an oven. The roommates are friendly
I am in love with the university, however the eduroam wifi fails all the time.

The school is rich in educational resources, the teachers are very serious and responsible, and have learned a lot of knowledge.
The apartment service is warm, clean and tidy, the room is warm and spacious, the hotel location is superior, the room cleaning staff is also very kind, the front desk sister is very warm, the room price is also very affordable, cost-effective! What I got was not only a comfortable and pleasant stay experience, but also fireworks, that's what I said about this hotel, excellent!

Very good, but the signal and wifi isn’t always the best. Possibly because of the hills in Bristol, which obviously the university can’t control.
The uni is a really good uni, with campus buildings across the city and a uni bus to take you around where you need to go. The city is beautiful and has a lot of student friendly activities and cafes and pubs/bars.
There are many kinds of clubs on campus, and the members of the student union are also friendly and enthusiastic, and have provided me with a lot of help. Thank you to every member who works hard for the well-being of students!

Overall a good experience. Some things do take time to fix, but the WiFi is a real issue. Archery society is great, and is as inclusive as possible while maintaining a safety standard that means no one is put at risk of harm

This apartment has provided me with an excellent living experience. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly, and they handle any issues promptly and efficiently. It truly makes me feel welcomed and well taken care of.

Everything is in a reasonable distance this to each other. There are loads of events going on my careers that help with futures.
Wifi is pretty terrible, but careers service is excellent and constantly advertises many events so there's something for everyone

If you want to study somewhere with character then Bristol is the place. The city itself is vibrant and exciting, but the university has its own unique charm too, with a huge variety of events and societies I really do feel there is something for everyone. There is ample support for those that need it, whether you’re a mature student with a disability like myself, or an international student adjusting to life in the UK. The welcome fair honestly blew me away by how big and festive it was! I love the university’s commitment to sustainability, I only wish they’d take it a step further and go 100% plant based!

The University of Bristol has amazing facilities and a great Student Union building. There are a lot of comfortable areas to both study and socialise. My experience overall has been a great one.

Great facilities, great societies, nearly impossible to get a careers appointment and the wifi can be a bit dodgy sometimes.

There is not enough opportunities for a first year student as most career fairs focus on grad schemes
My university is great for academic research and has a diverse range of practical and theoretical study. The facilities are great though there could be more provisions for arts and media, such as studios or equipment hire.
I love the study buildings - they are very diverse in terms of style and quality of learning environment. From plain white walls and desks and chairs in silent study to sofas and leafy plants with rugs and tables in conversation-level noise.
Overall, I am happy with the campus and facilities. Good wifi all the time, everywhere on the campus. Wide range of clubs and societies to cater to your need. Students Union is also helpful. Careers Service helps you in searching for jobs, crafting a CV & cover letter, and also prepare you for interviews.
University of Bristol offer amazing studying place in all it's building making easy the students life.

Quite a great learning environment given the amount of support given on all aspects - academic, career and welfare services. It really helps put international students at ease given the already overwhelming pressure of studying far away from home.
