I think it has a lot of activities but for our postgraduate students we haven’t feel immersed in. But overall it’s a lovely campus

Great course and lovely and helpful staff. The University of Bristol is widely regarded for its strong research culture, vibrant campus life, and beautiful city setting. Its academic programs are well respected, particularly in science, engineering, and the social sciences. Students often highlight the university’s supportive teaching staff, diverse community, and excellent facilities. The city of Bristol itself adds to the experience with its creative atmosphere, independent shops, and lively music scene. While the workload can be challenging, many feel it prepares them well for future careers. Overall, the University of Bristol offers a stimulating and rewarding environment for both academic and personal growth.
A forward-looking, engaging, welcoming place to study that also offers brilliant opportunities outside of studies such as societies, events, and hobby/social groups. Up-to-date facilities, passionate lecturers, several dedicated buildings to study spaces and cafés/ chill-out spaces. Brilliant opportunity to widen your knowledge with an outstanding level of student support from the very beginning.

Best reputed university and the professors are great here
Loving it! lecturers are helpful, people are kind and overall it’s good university
Amazing overall experience, whether it be educational or social, could simply not ask for anymore.
Definitely lots of different options for study spaces on campus.
Very good and comfortable. Suitable for students
too many hills that make me exhausted before going to class
Friendly staff and good system
You can find a lot of friends here
Its just eduroam that connects seldom that spoils the experience.
Very good, very good, very good
The WiFi sometimes doesn’t work but I think social wise and academic wise the university is very good.
A bit hilly, but a very pretty campus,
Glassworks is a modern and convenient student accommodation close to the University of Bristol and the city centre. The rooms are clean, spacious, and equipped with private bathrooms and kitchens. The building is secure and quiet, with comfortable communal areas, making it ideal for studying and socialising.
Good because I like the lectures and seminars
Fix eduroam, it does not work on cell phones
Wide range of societies and student services always available
I mean it's ok, theres no actual campus and only one very small building to sit with friends and eat lunch. The SU is horrible and corrupt, introducing insane laws which are incredibly opposed eg. Associate memberships. They are also critical and demeaning to certain clubs that they have chosen not to like eg. Shooting, riding, polo which makes it very difficult for these clubs and the communities surrounding them. The societies are really hit and miss. The course is terrible, no personalisation or tailoring to interests and dear god the teaching is awful. In particular 'seminars' with PhD students that speak no English and people can't understand what they are saying, I learn more by not attending than doing so. Some courses are very poorly organised.
Overall enjoyable time at the Univeristy of Bristol, no complaints.
The uni is a fairly nice place to be in and provides different clubs, societies and opportunities
love the uni, people are very friendly and staff are willing to help in any way they can
I like the overall community and togetherness
As a exchange student, university gives me a lot of help.
Really great university experience with amazing courses.
Lovely uni and staff very helpful and friendly The campus both in the city centre and out by Langford are gorgeous and very scenic.
A strong university with many societies
Best University I have been studying at, my evaluation comparing with LBS, Warwick, and Bocconi.
I come from China, and studying at the University of Bristol has been one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. From the first day I arrived, I felt welcomed and supported by everyone here. The staff and lecturers are not only professional but also genuinely kind and caring.
Really enjoy the university and the city. I have particularly made close friends through sport and arts societies who have been excellently funded and supported by the university
All staff are caring and everything is based on a well-structured planning.
The teachers are very friendly, the classmates are also very friendly and polite, and there are often activities in the school. The school environment is large and clean, with many self-study rooms, many clean toilets, and elevators in the school.
Many areas to self study and many facilities. Great support for course and other things.
Clean, safe in Marlborough house—friendly staff, great WI-FI, perfect study vibe, highly recommended
Great and very helpful, need more transport tools
So many great study areas to choose from. Careers service is excellent, lots of support and opportunities to talk with them. SU is well organised and provides lots of activities throughout the year.
Heyy there! 😊 I’m having an amazing time here at the University of Bristol 🎓 The course I’m enrolled in is honestly beyond my expectations — super insightful and interesting! 💡 The teaching experience has been wonderful, the staff are really supportive 🤝 and the whole environment feels so warm and welcoming 🏫✨ I truly feel at home here ❤️ I’d highly recommend everyone to come and explore this place and the university at least once — it’s totally worth it! 🙌🇬🇧
Lots of options outside of academics, multiple study, social and sports spaces. Great location within the city
Loads of clubs and societies to get involved with but the SU doesn’t support clubs very well. Engineering facilities are very good with many different labs across different buildings.
Studying at the University of Bristol is both challenging and rewarding. The courses are engaging, the city is vibrant and student-friendly, and there’s a strong international community. Although the workload and living costs can be demanding, the supportive environment and exciting opportunities make it a great place to learn and grow.
Very good campus and facilities
My university years were a transformative period of immense personal and academic growth. It was a dynamic environment where I forged lifelong friendships, discovered new passions, and was constantly challenged by insightful professors.
good! The location is excellent and the service is good, except that the express delivery is not very convenient.

I love UoB very much! Everyone is so warmhearted and teachers are so knowledgeable and responsible. I love the atmosphere in UoB!
The room is Very good. And there are many activities.
Great city and activities run by the SU all around the city. Lecturers and facilities haven't been dissapointing aswell.
I am a postgraduate student in Finance and Investment at the University of Bristol. From the very beginning, I felt warmly welcomed — the staff were patient and helpful during registration and student ID verification. The Welcome Week activities were both fun and informative, and I appreciated the enthusiasm of the student union and volunteers. Classes are now in full swing, and the lecturers are excellent. With great learning facilities and an inspiring academic atmosphere, I truly feel supported and valued as a student here.
The atmosphere of Bristol is very nice and friendly with lots of very nice places to study and also many events.
very good view, very friendly campus, but some staff might not very kind.
Good staff especially Nic Kaisa. They are very nice. Good location.
There is no microphone to enlarge volume when professors are speaking in a large classroom. It’s hard to listen to them clearly, especially for students who have to sit in the back row.
I had very good experience in the university with various society all the students in the uni are so cool and they speak to everyone in a jovial manner and the bristol is very colourful city with various kind of people and there are so many food shops with variety of cultures it is very peaceful and I personally feel very safe to be here in bristol. And again my uni experience is so good in here with new adventures so, till now the welcome week and welcome fair has been completed it was so good the organisation the student union is doing the role so good had a wonderful and new experience in here.
I’m really enjoying my PhD research at the University of Bristol. The support from my research group and the academic environment has been excellent, making this a great place to grow as a researcher. However, I feel that student accommodation is quite expensive, especially for international students. I hope the university can provide more affordable housing options and increased financial support to help with high rent costs. Overall, it’s been a positive experience, and I’m grateful to be here.
It’s an amazing university with so many opportunities to broaden out and explore extra curricular activities. It feels like it’s such a nice community at this university.
Beautiful campus, aesthetic city. Staff and student union is very friendly.
Everything is amazing. The school has rich activities and friendly staff. It would be great if you could provide some part-time jobs or scholarships.
Love the vibe of the campus, and Bristol is a wonderful city.
My Uni life has been great so far, and I'm really thankful for all the clubs, services, Student union and professors for making it happen.
all great, had some problems connecting to wifi.
I am lucky to be at an accommodation within walking distance of everywhere I need to go, because as a city university the buildings are all spread out. At first the hills seem daunting but you quickly get used to it. I like all the buildings, which are modern and clean, and all the staff have been very friendly.
I came from india,i thought it will going to be very difficult but the environment and everything was fantastic for me,
Good everything will work hhvgv
Really great atmosphere, lots of walking and hills but definitely worth it for the amazing facilities!
Attending the University of Bristol has been a really rewarding experience. Academically, the courses are challenging, but the professors are knowledgeable and approachable. I’ve learned a lot, and the environment pushes you to think critically and independently. The campus itself is beautiful, blending historic architecture with modern facilities. The libraries and labs are great, and being in the heart of Bristol means you’re close to everything the city has to offer: cafes, events, and networking opportunities. Student life is vibrant. There are tons of societies and clubs, so it’s easy to meet people with similar interests. The Students’ Union organizes events that help make the social side of university enjoyable, and there’s always something happening in the city.
I havent experienced anything to complain about while being here.
A great university with a lot of history
