Best Universities for Value for Money 2025

My experience at Ulster University has been absolutely amazing! From the very beginning, I felt welcomed and supported. The staff are incredibly friendly, approachable, and always willing to help—whether it's academic guidance or just a friendly chat, they go above and beyond. I truly loved my time here and feel grateful for all the encouragement and positivity I received throughout my journey. I couldn’t have asked for a better university experience!

The economics course at Strathclyde has been a great experience so far and definitely feels like good value for money. The lecturers are not only really knowledgeable but also make the material interesting and easy to follow. 

Great degree and you definitely get your value for money as it is quite time intensive but it is a great degree to have. Also a large course so it’s very easy to find friends.

Really nice study spaces and there are lots of places to eat on or near campus. There are so many societies to be a part of too. The student union is good and has good representatives as well! The careers service constantly send emails to check in and send advice and resources for us too!

I am thoroughly enjoying my Bioinformatics course at the University of Glasgow. The value for money is fair given the quality of education provided. The teaching quality is exceptional, with knowledgeable lecturers who are passionate about the subject and always willing to offer support.

The University of Dundee is highly recommended for its supportive community, excellent facilities, and strong academic programs.

Swansea University offers an incredible student experience with a stunning beachfront campus and modern facilities. The teaching staff are passionate and supportive, providing excellent academic and career guidance. The social scene is vibrant, with plenty of clubs and events. A perfect balance of learning and student life—highly recommended!

A good uni with good services and a very apt and attentive staff. Great library and though some buildings on campus are an eyesore, there are some nice ones and good green spaces around and near campus.

I’ve had a great experience at the University of Portsmouth. The academic support is excellent, with knowledgeable lecturers who are always willing to help. The campus has great facilities, and the learning environment is engaging. The university also provides plenty of resources to help students succeed, from study support to career guidance. Overall, it’s a great place to study and grow!

A good value for money. I learned a lot in my studies.

Being 1st in the world, the value for money is 100% worth it! The teachers are experts in there fields and ensure top quality teaching experiences where they can pass on the latest, up-to-date information. My personal tutor is always there when I need him, with regular check ins and opportunities to see him if I’m struggling. The course covers everything relevant in relation to sport and exercise and after completing my 1st year I feel confident I have the knowledge to take on 2nd year. With the prestige Loughborough comers with, the job prospects are good positions within good establishments.

The course is great value for money and very useful for me, the content is relevant, the tutors have always been easy to contact and helpful and the job prospects are exceptional.
