Had a great experience at SPW. I worked as a student residence advisor at the residence so my experience was a little different to other students living here. We had a few difficult student welfare cases to deal with throughout the year, with Cheila as the team leader there, my team and I had great support. She always went above and beyond for the residents. This is really rare to see in uni accommodation. She was very innovative in coming up with ideas, very quick to respond to issues and well-equipped to sort them out. And like always, it's nice to be greeted by Cheila when we see her at reception on our way in and out from uni - her energy is contagious!

Great staff that were very helpful, great room although I was unfortunately on the bottom floor with the public passage balcony outside of my room without a view that had a light blaring all night. On-suite was good as was the room in general. Reception always helpful with packages as well as general issues. Walk to uni wasn't a deal breaker. However, my main issue was dealing with a Silverfish issue throughout my stay due to a broken extractor fan in which I found them in my bathroom and sometimes in my bed when I woke up, although this would be one at a time and not swarms of them. I believe it might be an issue with my particular room and not a general issue. Would be perfect if this wasn't a present issue. Decent wifi for London standards (Moderate speed) but did have outages at times, although the staff were adamant to fix this and is due to the provider.
Good location for students. Cheila is super friendly and clearly puts effort in to students wellbeing

Night team great ashley especially

Hi! Thank you! St Pancras Way Team
Ashley and Ripon are frickin legends!! Honestly they’re the reason why I feel so welcome at st pancras!!

Hi! Thank you so mucj for sharing your experience with us. We are so happy to hear that our Student Safety Team have made you to feel welcomed.
I am a student is staying here since the COVID pandemic began (2020-21) and this accommodation is NOT worth its extortionate prices. Staff are friendly while you are greeted into your 10 man-flat with very little space and £270 per week room that hasn't been cleaned since its previous tenant. (Every single person I met has said the same) Social scene is DIRE, not just because of the pandemic, oh no, because the advertised common rooms and terraces are actually inaccessible. We were told it was because of lockdown, yet all advertised facilities except for the £7 for-every-wash-you-do Circuit Laundry remained locked for the entirety of our stay, even after restrictions were lifted and gave us little comfort. Despite this, St Pancras Way management refused to acknowledge or reply to many of our concerns, we felt bad for the staff that clearly has to deal with such leadership. No reduction in accommodation fees, no uni social life and thus no reason to waste your time.
Really anti social, flats are dark, social spaces are rarely used and the staff make no effort to enable socialising in the first few weeks. You get 1 person in 10 who had good flat mates and it’s overpriced. Some rooms face a brick wall
Just don't bother. Construction work and loud drilling directly outside windows for weeks on end in EXAM SEASON, infrequently and badly cleaned, fines thrown around left right and centre, hot water outages frequently, most unsociable UCL hall, and the price is absolutely obscene,
Not worth the money. When I had exams they were building things outside. RIGHT DURING EXAM SEASON. Rooms are nice, can't fault them. But inconsiderate, unsociable, not worth your money.
Would definitely not recommend. Yes it is an en-suite accommodation and it’s in Camden but I (luckily) enjoyed the trek to uni everyday. However I’ve also been lucky to be in a sociable flat - I’ve met many other people staying here who have had a terrible halls experience due to the unsociable atmosphere. Considering the amount of money paid I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that we have cleaners to only clean our kitchen once every 2 weeks. I know many accommodations where people pay much less and yet still have cleaners in their flats weekly if not more than once or twice a week. The advertising is poor due to the stress on having ‘roof-top terraces’ when in fact these are only available for people who pay even more money to live in studio flats. The common rooms are nice I cannot fault & the bedrooms themselves are nice. The worst thing is that they have ridiculously decided to start construction DURING EXAMS! They drill and shout outside bedrooms everyday!
Pros: Great location, right in the middle of Camden. Broadband speed good, though the wifi is a bit patchy. There are reasonably-sized social spaces. Cons: Not very clean; general disrepair evident throughout; lifts frequently break down; never any hot water (lukewarm at best and often stone cold); inadequate kitchen facilities; walls paper-thin; no information given to residents about how to access bins/post/laundry facilities/etc; eye-wateringly expensive (especially given all the other cons).
The absolute worst experience of my life--do not rent with them!!!!!!
We have ensuites!! And a double bed!!
Clean, big, comfortable, well-equipped ensuite rooms which actually look pretty nice. Right on the edge of Camden, so you get the best of Bloomsbury and the Camden amenities. Only thing is that it isn't very social between halls, but I got really lucky and shared with some amazing people so I wasn't hurting socially. Overall, I loved it!
Great new ensuite rooms, amazing location and very friendly staff, however price is quite steep.
Really great place, clean and modern, with opportunities to meet others in the accommodation.
In the grimmer part of Camden, 15 minute walk from UCL or 5 minutes on the tube if you have the money. Too expensive really, but all of UCL accommodation is the same.
