Sherwood was great! Had such a good time and met loads of new friends there considering the lockdown restrictions. The location was good as it was right near the gym and not far from the coop either. The only downside of the hall was the food which was absolutely awful, the chefs should be embarrassed of what they cooked for us!

practically feels like a Surrey private school
A great way to make friends in catered halls is easier. However, you need to come out of your comfort zone and it will be easier. New place and that.
Good location, opposite the gym, near bus stops
Best all-round hall on campus, close to sports centre & bus stops. Regular formals and nights out make it great fun.
I don't think the food is great and many students would agree that there's never really enough - however catered food is the same throughout all catered halls. Depending on where you study, the hall is 10 minutes walk to the biggest library on campus, 10-15 minutes walk from most of the buildings where lectures take place. It is right next to the new gym however, and has a bus stop less than 2 minutes walk away on the main road behind the hall, so bus journeys are often preferred over tram journeys (both tram stops are around 15 minutes walk away). All hall staff are friendly - my only complaints are that it costs extra to stay/use your room over the holiday period, and also costs extra if you want to leave belongings in your room. I only had one day to move in after the holidays before the start of term. Wifi always disconnects but ethernet connection maintains a good speed - many gaming ports are blocked on the wifi but not ethernet.
Probably the most sociable hall. Big, big rooms, good food and great people.
I really like my hall as it is small but that means it has a lovely community atmosphere. It isn't the nicest hall in terms of aesthetics but you're bound to form great friendships here. Food is of a really high standard and the staff are amazing
Arguably one of the nicest halls on campus. Food is delicious and the facilities on offer are great. Being on the door step of the new sports centre is a major perk of being in this hall. Couldn't ask for a better uni experience !
Didn't really like the food or the upkeep
It's a really sociable hall that has great facilities and the catering is great. Tutors are really nice and it's really inclusive.
