N/A - I lived in privately rented accommodation.
Upland is newly renovated (it smelled like paint the day I moved in!) so the furniture and facilities are good. Socialising: There are 8 bedrooms in each flat and 10 flats in the building so there were plenty of people to socialise with. Most of the kitchens are also fairly big so having flat parties and friends over is easy. Location: It is really far out from town, a 30 minute bus ride. The bus stop we got into town is a few minutes walk from the halls up hill. Moulescoombe campus is a 45 minute walk or 10 minute bus. There is a Premier up the road from the bus stop which is around a 10 minute walk up a hill from Varley. Bedroom: The bedrooms have good storage space and the double beds are spacious. There are smoke alarms in the rooms (but not in the kitchens). Security: The security was on it the whole time. They walk rounds at the halls and come into flats as they please which did bother me. Overall it was great! Would highly recommend (apart from the location & security)
