wifi is absolutely atrocious but location give the halls some value for money although if you were unlucky enough (like me) to come in the year before refurbishments, for the amount of money we pay rooms and kitchens are pretty gross.

For the amount of money you are paying the services are not good. There are 4 washing machines and 4 dryers for 300 people - if they are all in service which is unusual. The wifi is also terrible and it does not connect to many people's phones. Most of the kitchens were fully refurbished however ours wasn't. Many things broke and had to be replaced along with paying the same amount for a dull kitchen. However staff that work here are lovely and very helpful.
Location was great but flat was disgusting. Asshole flatmates constantly trashed the place. Then in the early hours of the morning people would go outside and party. EVERY NIGHT. On the weekend it's understandable, but seriously, every night?? You won't sleep if you live here. I'm glad I got out.
It was not the best experience with halls, as for the price we should get better service and facilities. you should all know that the policy is not fair at all, as I pay 131 ppw whereas all my flatmates pay 100 ppw, AND WE ALL HAVE A SINGLE BEDROOM and when I complained they said its none of my business how much others pay since I have signed my contract. In my building there are no lifts, so I have to take the stairs to the third floor every day. It isn't convenient at all. Also, when I told the management I have a blocked sink, they advised me to buy an antiblocker, that was it! My advice to you, STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!
Fabulous location but ultimately not worth the extortionate amount for them for such a poky kitchen shared among 8 people. No social spaces either. Do believe they have since been done up though.
Very nice halls
Walls and windows are not the slightest sound proof, so can hear everything. Bathroom is in a bad state. The room size is ok but carpet and chairs stained and dirty. I would be satisfied if i was paying about 60 pound less a week
Great location but not worth the money. Small poky rooms and small kitchen for 8 people!! Lack of common room spaces in each block.
