Not too big of a fan where the campus is split across the city. Clubs and societies feel more distant than the university I went to when I was an undergraduate.
Great university with range of societies and a beautiful campus
Very well respected uni, having a great time and the course is exceptional
Wifi in some buildings not so great. Great lecture rooms and study spaces
It has a beautiful campus and I love walking to uni with plentiful exposure to the environment.
The WiFi can be a bit spotty at times during lectures when loads of people are accessing it however it is generally good and you can automatically connect from any point on campus. The wellbeing and careers services are particularly good they are supportive , resourceful , reliable and generally give excellent opportunities and accommodations. They go above and beyond and can arrange free transportation to a and e and can have staff accompany you in your worst moments. Truly a university that goes above and beyond. The student union has fantastic free events all year round with opportunities to win big prizes or get rewards for completing surveys. The selection of societies is vast and many societies have crossover socials ensuring you will meet new people and potentially develop more friends !
Exeter Uni has been great so far. Honestly academics are as good as I expected. Nothing to complain about.
First year student, till now everything is going great.
Very good, love the university, it has opened many doors.
Exeter university is a great place for students to study with brilliant guidance, meet like-minded people and have a good time in general.
Good university, enjoyed my 3 years
Nice campus, bad WiFi, not enough food options in the cafe
I’d like the university to keep the disabled people on mind because every class is at a distance and sometimes it is very difficult to get to the classes and have a seat without an actual struggle. There are no ramps in some areas and also there should be wheelchairs and people deployed to help somebody in need outside the buildings. I’d also like if the university offered some sort of transportation for people with disabilities for easy accessibility and timely accessibility. Thank you.
Great experience so far, good academics and staff
So far, every, facilities provided by the university are top notch be it in career services or academic fields. Totally satisfied
Great university, lots of support and amazing staff
I started recently, but I’m enjoying my experience at the university.
WiFi is okay, in general very good uni but more events could be happening especially more creative events. Also should be more societies eg arm wrestling, spontaneous society. More spontaneous activities should happen
Living off campus I rarely get to experience much campus life, however I’d like there to be more reasons to go and get involved in campus and fully maximise what it has to offer.
Great experience, had fun thanks
University is very good with a big campus for all students. Lots of different societies for students to join which are all good fun. However, the WiFi at the university is sometimes not up to speed
overall good, engineering dept has great resources and rooms on campus, course is alright, lecturers are alright
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in Exeter and had an extremely positive experience with the wellbeing and support staff.
I really enjoyed studying at the University of Exeter. The campus is lovely and the staff at my department was very welcoming and kind.
Exeter is a lovely university, with great facilities and a nice welcoming atmosphere. The Penryn campus is a fantastic location, with Falmouth being perfect for a night out or a swim in the sea.
Teachers are helpful and quick to reply
really wonderful full scope of facilities and such welcoming and accommodating staff
Beautiful uni, lots of green and lots of hills.
Great Uni!! Very student friendly city as well and lots of societies + great lecturers and services by people who try their best to actually help you with your studies and progress

Nice campus, great sports facilities, good careers support
The most significant and transformative experience one can get!!
As a Media student, I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Exeter. The academic quality is exceptional—my supervisors are renowned scholars who offer meticulous guidance and valuable research collaborations. The Media department boasts state-of-the-art labs and a curriculum that balances theory and practice, boosting my academic and professional skills significantly. The student support is outstanding, especially for internationals—from enrollment help to academic writing workshops and career advice. The campus is beautiful, with lush greenery, and just a short walk to downtown Exeter, making daily life convenient. The diverse, friendly community and vibrant clubs helped me make global friends, fostering a strong sense of belonging. Exeter isn’t just a university; it’s a place that nurtures growth. Highly recommended for anyone seeking excellent academics and an unforgettable study abroad journey!
The facilities are brand new and complete. The surrounding environment is beautiful. The front desk service is very considerate. There are also many public facilities. It is a very suitable apartment for students to live in.
touch rugby is the best society there
Very nice uni where I have been able to enjoy a full university experience
I'm an international student at the University of Exeter, and my experience has been a mix of genuinely supportive services and areas that still need improvement. What stood out the most to me was how approachable the careers team is - whenever I needed guidance, they responded clearly and didn't make me feel rushed. It really helped me understand the UK job market better. The campus environment is also amazing for studying. There are plenty of quiet spots, and the WiFi is reliable enough for both studying and entertainment, although there are occasional weak spots during peak hours. One thing I appreciated was the number of student-led events. They're regular, well-organised, and make it much easier to meet people, especially if you're new to the UK like me. Overall, here is a place where you can grow academically and personally, as long as you make use of the services offered. It's not perfect, but it genuinely feels like the university cares about student wellbeing.
Beautiful historic campus with very modern facilities
Invaluable experience with many opportunities and staff guidance.
Perfect location, great amenities, amazing staff!
I’m having a great experience so far
Everything that the university provides has been good quality.
I'm a PhD so don't really have time for societies but the campus is nice
It is really good and I love the uni
Nice and quite. Lovely and wonderful place to live.
Very good experience, we need some vending machines
Amazing university great people and facilities
I really enjoy living at Walnut Garden. The place is clean and tidy, the staff are super nice and always ready to help, and the security is great. Everything you need for daily life is provided, and the facilities are modern and convenient. Highly recommend!
Brilliant university. Very happy with my decision, can’t fault it at all.
Very God so far, a high community feel with an encouraging focus on study!
Wonderful place, the best you can find in Exeter as a student. This place brought me so much joy as well as opportunities for development and many new friends. Very recommended.
Polite and incredibly helpful staff!!
The University of Exeter has an absolutely gorgeous campus — full of greenery and stunning views. Despite the hills, it’s always buzzing with life and activity, which gives it a really vibrant atmosphere. There’s always something going on, from events to student societies, making it easy to get involved. The staff are approachable, friendly, and genuinely helpful, creating a supportive environment both academically and personally. A beautiful, lively place to study and grow.
Amazing History Course, very beautiful and nature focused campus!!
All good loving it so far. No complaints
Great uni, nice surroundings, good place to be,
Good uni but societies are very cliquey
Such a fantastic Uni and campus. It is honestly everything you could ask for, and more!
Very nice campus which allows for uni to be a great experience
Wifi needs to improve md specifically for calls
Love the university, I joined fencing in my first year and it is the best society ever!
University as a whole is great with amazing facilities for my subject. However the student union is quite redundant and doesn’t appear to do much. The wifi is also unreliable at best when you are not in lectures.
Good university with a highly educated faculty
The university is forward-thinking and filled with passionate staff. The WiFi is the main drawback, with very temperamental connection and, in student housing, very poor maintenance. Last year I had to wait some 10 days for the issue to be fixed by the company responsible, which meant that for all readings, work, etc I had to rely on personal hotspots from my phone or would be forced to trek to the library.
So far St Luke’s Campus at University of Exeter has been Excellent!!
The WiFi has been painfully bad this year
Great experience. Loving my time here
Good experience so far, societies are very good. WiFi problems have meant I haven't been able to do class activities.
studying here so far has been amazing
Very good, Wi-Fi is sometimes on and off but overall good

The campus is great and there are lots of clubs and societies for you to get involved in.
Overall a pretty good uni. The WiFi isn’t the best all over campus but other than that I recommend.
My over all experience has been quite positive and I have enjoyed the university so far.

As an international student, I’m so glad to spend 3 years in Exeter. This experience brings me a lot and shapes me into a stronger person. Thanks to this memorial time so that I can go further in my self-pursuit. Thank you Exeter!
it's a decent uni, very large campus
Overall university as a first year has been very exciting. As a medical base student I attend st Luke’s campus most time which is very nice and open. Very nice greenery and open space with a quite tight library space. Cross keys café is quite nice, I wish the prices could be slightly lowered so more students would purchase.
Beautiful campus and many differnt societies u can join
a good university everyone is friendly
Everything here is great. The school offers a wide range of activities and rich courses, has beautiful scenery and well-developed infrastructure.
Excellent life, little bad with student service table(online)
