Overall Good experience. Fast response to maintenance issues, with someone coming in to fix issues on the same or next day, friendly hub team.
Lovely campus with lots of modern facilities. Safe environment to walk around and it’s easy to get from place to place on campus. Lots of different fun and interesting societies to have a look at and try.
Good university with a great campus feel where everything is accessible
The wifi connection is really bad during the days but university facilities and campus is really good
Sometimes the wifi turn off and turn on, but overall the wifi is crazy fast.
WiFi across all of campus can cut out or not work at times. There is also almost no mobile signal across all of campus for texts or mobile data.
Staff are rude especially JP warden
Frequent activities going on in and around the students union keeps it fresh, the place is always buzzing and it's a really nice space to be in whether to chill, gang out with friends or even to study, the facilities at loughborough are top notch and the uni is very good at its sustainability values. There are a lot of societies to join with lots of helpful, warm and welcoming people so fitting in isn't a worry as there really is a place for all.
Very good standards of teaching and great social aspect.
The campus is nice with lots of sports facilities. There’s loads of clubs and societies to get involved with but the WiFi on campus is unstable
Student Union is amazing. Staff are helpful and supportive. Facilities are amazing
Good experience overall so far.
Great University with lots of opportunities
Great sporting experience and facilities
I love it here, I’ve met many lovely people and the cheap societies are extremely fun and ranged. I wish the library was bigger or there was a second one though
the student union is nice, but wifi could be better
Nice campus with plenty of sports and activities to do while studying at a high level
Lots of societies to join and really good help with careered service
A uni with so much to do no matter what your interest is
Haven’t experienced career service yet but student union, sports and societies seem very welcoming.
I love the loughborough university campus. I love the aesthetic and well kept appearance and atmosphere, which makes me happy and so proud to live here. I worked really hard to ensure that I made it to loughborough, and i’m so happy that the university campus lives up to its name.
great sense of community with a plethora of activities to suit everyone
Could be better could be worse. Overall decent.
Lots of activities and sport happening around the uni but issues with the wifi are occurring across campus
Good everything close / feels very homely and really good facilities
Very poor wifi unable to use in lectures and trouble with it in halls doesn’t seem to be getting fixed soon
Love the campus and uni but the WiFi is not good
There’s a wide range of services and oppportunities provided by the university.
WiFi was difficult to connect at first but when sorted worked perfectly fine around campus. The facilities at Loughborough are outstanding on the whole.
A great uni with an amazing campus and a strong community feel.
The campus facilities at Loughborough University are outstanding! The library is spacious and well-equipped, making it easy to study. The student union is vibrant, hosting a variety of events and offering great food options. The clubs and societies are diverse, providing countless opportunities to meet new people and explore interests. Overall, the campus atmosphere is energetic and supportive—perfect for any student!
Campus/ facilities got nothing to complain about and all the lecturers seem genuinely intrigued in what they've got to teach. "Learn" is very confusing to use. Clubs and societies for the amount of sporty people feels like it is adequate, but the lack of societies is very prevalent. The student union is great, regular events, free stuff and loads to get involved in. The career service I haven't actually used yet but their is multiple events on my calendar for networking. The Internet/ Wifi was generally awful but they are trying to fix it, but it resulted in not being able to sign into lectures and also only being able to access "Learn" 30 minutes into the lecture.
Really well organised and advertised
Great campus and so many clubs!!
A lot of events in the SU. WiFi is kinda mid since it’s the beginning of term
everything is really good i like it
very nice so far, i wish the internet would work better in other parts of campus though
Good people and great community feeling
Great university . A place for everyone
Very good facilities, campus is very accessible and student union has plenty to offer. WIFI needs sorting. I’ve tried to submit this review many times and has not worked.
Couldn’t ask for a place better then Robert bakewell
Lovely campus with lots of green space and great student union club nights!
Good vibe around Loughborough, everything is in walking distance.
The campus has a friendly feel to it and there are plenty of clubs and societies to get involved in.
University has to much to offer from sports, societies, cafés and social spaces.
Campus is great, but lecture theatres need improvement in my opinion. There's not nearly enough bandwidth in the lecture theatres to support all the device's on the networks. Also, in most there's nowhere to charge devices, which is a problem when some days I have 8 hours of lectures. Visibility, recording system and everything else are all great though.
Good and easily accessible facilities- lots of advertisement for clubs and societies for everyone to get involved. Also a range of activities that are non-sport related for recreational activities
WiFi really is hit and miss and actually a problem
everything is great just lots of wifi issues since arriving
The wifi is really untrustworthy but my experience has been amazing other than that.
Great University, friendly staff.
Everything really good except the recent WiFi issues which dont help accessing learn and notes during lectures
Really good university with plenty of relaxed and competitive sport options as well as amazing department facilities.
Wifi is incredibly unreliable and not fit for purpose. Can’t even connect in most lectures
Wifi does not work in certain building and it always drops out at my accommodation
The facilities are very high quality but the wifi connection is sporadic
I have enjoyed my experience in Loughborough but i feel like i still can get involved in much more and still have not met a lot of new people yet
please fix wifi and lady bug problem 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Good university with lots to do and great support networks.
Very sporty, less societies that aren’t to do with sports. Still, the wide range of sport at different levels means you will probably find one you enjoy! The societies outside of sport are enjoyable too. Very large campus, bus is not reliable so be early if you want to take it to lectures but free around campus. Walkable distance of about 30m max to cross campus as well.
So far so good. Seems like a welcoming campus
The campus is huge, and it took some getting used to. After about a week, you will get the hang of where each building is.
Very good social opportunities and events are available. Wifi has unfortunately been quite inconsistent for things like the attendance check for lectures. Campus is very nice
WiFi is unavailable around most of campus including lecture halls
My only issue is the wifi , it doesn’t work all the time
Great union, feels very clean and welcoming
very up to date and modern university with innovative facilities, while there isnt quite so many societies, there are many sports clubs available
Lovely place with different kinds of environment, which makes you not feel bored house gives the impression that you’re not in the same place
Great university, very diverse activites you can participate in, with a great students union. The facilities on site at the campus are top of the range, as the best sports university in the world. However if you are not into playing high level sports, then there a variety of different clubs and societies you can join.
I’ve had an amazing experience at Loughborough so far, could not recommend the university enough, particularly if you are big into your sport and are interested in being part of sociable halls. Facilities are state of the art and couldn’t ask for better.
socially, the university is pretty good.
The wifi rarely ever works, especially in lecture theatres where it is needed the most. I struggle a lot of the time being able to sign into my lectures as the wifi is that bad. But overall the facilities here are amazing, and the performance swim team staff and support network are really really useful and helpful, and are willing to put themselves out for you.
So far I have had a very good experience with everything
Haven’t used careers service much yet, WiFi unreliable
Amazing opportunities- hard to join any sort of team unless olympic level but do offer recreational sports so its alright, terrible wifi connection recently
The wifi doesn’t work in lectures
great uni, best sport and nice accom
wifiis very por continuously disconnects or is connected but "has no internet"
Overall I like the university.
Campus life is amazing - really easy going and lots of fun. Loads of clubs and societies to join. There will be a careers service yet it hasn't happened yet and the WiFi has been poor unfortunately.
The uni has very few flaws, and student support is outstanding
Campus is amazing there’s always something to do and everything’s writhing a walking distance. Only issues are with weak WiFi connection throughout campus
wifi is bad both other than that everyone is great so far
Thoroughly enjoyed my university experience here
The WiFi needs work. Every other thing is okay
Its been a really fun first 2 weeks
Really good university with lots of culture and sport to get involved with
Nice campus with lots of space and lots of facilities
The WiFi is not very good which makes it difficult to do work, the sports clubs are very good and there is lots of opportunity to play sport or join societies. I have had lots of career talks
Great opportunities and good overall experience so far
Nice environment with plenty of things to do away from studying
Incredible university with a range of facilities, some things to be improved, but very positive overall.
I love the nights out at the Student Union and the absolutely beautiful campus. My experience at the university has been amazing so far!
Good facilities for engineering
The wifi in the faculties is really bad I haven’t been able to connect with my computer once since the start, which is very annoying since you should use it.
Wifi around campus is not the best, and in a lot of lecture rooms it's very slow or not working. Other than that it's a great uni
The wifi is horrible and unreliable...get a good data plan
same as last report really, everything is alright except wifi
wifi gets a little slow in buildings but lboro is sm better than oxford fr
Average uni experience, nothing much to complain about, nothing much to be excited about.
