Good campus and student union events, sports facilities on campus is easy to book with membership
The WiFi is extremely good, which is very handy
The campus has supplied a good amount of resources for studying, which are all easily accessible.
I have enjoyed my first year at nottingham trent with some brilliant staff, friends and coursemates. I look forwards to my 2nd year.
Trent is a great uni with the location of city campus and its great education. Trent is located near many clubs for nights out, theres a spoons, and a premier inn on city campus. It’s close to town centre, meaning it doesn’t feel like you’re trapped,
Honestly I don’t regret coming here, probably ine if the best choices I’ve ever made.
good university with a lot of opportunities
Great University! Good staff and amenities
I had lovely experience with the societies this year and next year I’m planning to join more
A great university with lots of support available and great teachers and staff!
Pretty good experience all around, my only complaint would be the inconsistency of the WiFi in Certain lecture theatres
Campus is nice and in very good area, societies are great fun and very varied.
Amazing time. Thanks NTU! Can’t wait for next year
The student union and activities in the city make up are good but not a lot of advertising so it’s hard to find out about events
Good student union with a variety of events, and good facilities on campus too
Decent university with a very good employability support.
Let me just start by saying—Trent University is like living in a Studio Ghibli film… if the characters pulled all-nighters, lived off ramen, and had WiFi that sometimes needed a motivational speech. From the moment you step onto campus, it’s clear: this place is stunning. The Otonabee River cuts through campus like something out of a postcard, and the bridges? Let’s just say they give you the perfect amount of time to question every life choice while walking to an 8:30 am lecture. Now, let’s talk about the accommodation—shoutout to Meridian Court. It’s got that "slightly chaotic but oddly comforting" student energy. The rooms are cozy enough to feel like home, but still big enough to fit all your laundry that you definitely meant to do last week. The view out the window? Either a scenic tree-lined path or a seagull giving you side-eye. Either way, iconic. The real magic though? The people. Flatmates become family (and sometimes enemies when they eat your labeled leftovers).
The campus is convenient and has easy access to the city if needed
Didn’t find any society’s I could relate to
not the most social campus ever but this is good for getting your head down and working…
good uni, lots of support and things to do
good uni good campus. wifi can vary in the building. love society’s
The university is great! The staff are all supportive!
it has been very good and not many problems
again what i said before! great experience!
love ntu uni it has many societies and facilities
Good location for uni, lots of things to do locally during breaks
NTU has a great community feel. There’s always something going on around campus, and the Students’ Union is brilliant at keeping students engaged. From societies to sports to wellbeing support, there’s a real focus on making university life enjoyable and balanced. I’ve met so many people from different backgrounds, and the environment is really welcoming. Whether you’re into nightlife, quiet study spaces, or networking opportunities, NTU has something for you.
Ask for help and you’ll get it! I started at NTU on a foundation year and all the staff were super supportive when we were learning the lab equipment. Now going into my first year, the exam support has doubled and you are able to book meetings with lecturers for extra help. The mental health support is quick and easy to use, and will only be taken as far as you want it to be. They’re very discrete with appointments and extremely understanding of outside commitments. Nottingham Trent is really known for its student life and definitely lives up to that. The level is a super fun night out, but ocean really tops it. During fresher’s week, student ambassadors will be there if anything goes wrong so it’s a nice and slow introduction to clubbing for those who are nervous. All the societies put on plenty of drinking events as well, and have supportive committee members to help you along. Craft and quiz nights are also super fun for making new friends and are a regular thing!
The environment and facilities provided make it more adaptable for students especially as an international student
It is very good. The sports here are fantastic
Excellent uni, so helpful when you need and they actually care about the students and their wellbeing.
Surrounding nature feels free n great opportunities to upgrade ur knowledge
My review is based off of Clifton campus as a STEM student.
Campus facilities: You have everything you need and more (Gym, huge sports fields, all sorts of different study spaces to suit individual needs) Clubs and societies: The number of societies is amazing. There is something for everyone. This is what I was looking forward to the most about NTU and it did not disappoint. I do not see too much from the SU or Careers advice so other people may have a more in depth review of this Internet: the Internet works perfectly in the lecture halls and other buildings
Brilliant uni with great opportunities really enjoying it.
Great university, definitely recommend the library for study sessions
Plenty of on site entertainment, ideal for younger students. Not many activities for the older students. Eide range of societies, found one easily for me. The sports clubs are mixed and have something for everyone. Careers service tells you what to put and that's it.
everyone on campus is friendly
Enjoying the experience however i feel like there isn’t a lot of help with specific study support or mental health
I really like my time at NTU so far! I find the student union to be one of the best nights out whether it’s quids Thursdays or district Saturdays I always have a good time with great music and drink prices. Due to not using the careers facilities and it isn’t known to me about the support they offer I have rated that lower. The societies on offer here are fabulous such a wide range of them and definitely enough for everyone to find their perfect one.
I loved the experience and how homely it felt.
So far I have enjoyed NTU so much, with great welcoming societies and amazing socials at the SU, even on sunday nights, we’ve become regulars at the quizzes. Really enjoyed being in the city centre and having all of the facilities available to us, only downside i would say is that the NTU city gym isn’t the best workout space in my experience.
The social aspect is really good with lots of different societies to socialise in
Good university, amazing nightlife and societies but wifi could be improved on campus.
Nice campus overall, close to sports facilities
I love studying here they have given me a broader idea on what I can do with my life and the social side is amazing.
very good here, staff are all friendly and helpful
Very good uni in the heart of the city
Everything amazing. Staff are friendly and helpful
good uni courses need further consideration and refinement. additionally needs more consideration with students with disabilities and how to mark their work fairly.
The clubs and society’s are amazing and there is so many to chose from. All the library’s are so good.
It is a very nice place, but I didn't really take advantage of the opportunities it gave me. A lot of things did seem to go on all throughout the year though.
Very good campus in a great location, short walk to Victoria centre and various other places
good good good good satisfactory
good student union, would prefer more evening deals
Decent experience. Would recommend to others
its alright depending on the distance between where you stay but overall its good
All of the social areas are bright and inspiring, with lots of societies to join and plenty of clubs to visit. However, the wifi in almost all of the NTU campus areas is very slow and does not seem to work well.
NTU city campus is in an excellent location and the study spaces are pretty good
Not much in or around campus. Standard facilities
I like everything UPP is offering for us students.
good library and campus, which makes it good for students
My experience of studying at Nottingham Trent University has been overwhelmingly positive, and there isn't much to say that is negative about the University.
NTU has a great campus and lots of clubs and societies.
Campus is of high quality with plenty of facilities for studying and socialising.
Campus is good with solid facilities and a wide range whilst having nature throughout for a more natural atmosphere
Nothing much to complain so far it’s my first year here though
Seriously misjudged great uni to go to would highly recommend
The campus is a decent place to socialise and learn new things
I enjoy living here at Peverell and taking the number 4 or 1 bus into city for my lectures. I can’t wait to stay at Peverell again next academic year.
I loved living in a big flat, as it meant out of the big group, you are bound to find your people. For me I made a really close group with six people, if I was in a smaller flat then who knows if I’d get on with all six, but this worked really well for me. It’s super social and a great location, in my opinion it’s the best option for a reasonable price and great social life! I love my time at Sandby
Personally there is not a lot of activities held by the SU that i feel like i can get involved in
I have enjoyed my time at NTU so much, I couldn’t imagine spending my three uni years anywhere else. Everything from accommodation to student facilities and the general student life has been so good; can’t wait for my next two years in Nottingham.
Nice campus. Good for career support. Lots of events hosted by SU
everything is good, I can’t say much about social events because i don’t attend them
Good university, cool people and the level is epic
Very happy I picked NTU. Great facilities and great people
I feel like there needs to be a wider range of activities and everyone from other campus feels left out since everything is mainly in the city
pretty good not much to complain about
Amazing community, the location is great.
Clifton Campus is really nice and provides me with everything I need to unlock my potential.
Good labs and teachers and decent content
Campus is very social in a good location, I would recommend the uni due to the location. The WiFi is great in uni and outside of campus
Only part I really am unhappy with at university is living in student halls. Living in a flat with 10 people is way too much and people stay up drunk and screaming until around 4 am so I barely get any sleep this effecting my studies and causing me to miss lectures and classes.
No issues with the uni, really enjoying it, lots of fun trips etc
I have really enjoyed my time at Nottingham and the students union always advertises events
I just wish we had better sports facilities to train and enjoy for leisure purposes in the city instead of Clifton.
Top experience in Nottingham. Overall nothing to worry about
good university close to everything
Very helpful In giving information about future careers that you might be interested in.
Amazing university with lots to so in events.

We're so glad to hear you're enjoying the vibrant campus life! Our team works hard to make sure there's always something exciting happening!
It is nice. Loving the experience
best campus in town, the point has cheap pints
i quite enjoy the campus and the student union
Not had an encounter either the SU therefore my rating may be incorrect, campus is lovely and well organised and there are many societies

We're glad to hear you're enjoying the campus and the wide range of societies available. If you ever get the chance, we’d love for you to connect with the Students' Union — they offer a lot of support and opportunities to get involved.
Decent su and there’s a spar.lost of sports facilities.
It was decent but could be better
Avoid Trinity Square – Terrible Value for Money From September to Christmas, nonstop construction noise made it impossible to rest—drilling started early every morning, which was extremely stressful for students. The lifts are unreliable. One’s been out of order for over a month, and the other is painfully slow. Management says it might be fixed by May, which is unacceptable. Maintenance is poor—one resident’s shower was broken for a whole month with no proper response. The place is also dirty and poorly maintained, with neglected common areas and an outdated feel. I’m paying £181/week for an en-suite, while my friend pays £160/week at Study Inn which includes: • Study spaces • Gym, sauna, steam room • Games area • Big kitchens with personal fridges • Free regular cleaning of rooms, bathrooms, and kitchens included in the price, no extra charges. Trinity Square offers none of this. Don’t waste your money book somewhere better.
Had nothing but fun at NTU. Will never regret choosing NTU
