NTU is an amazing university. I have met and made new friends which have stuck by me throughout my time at uni and always looked forward seeing them. the student unions amazing as it lead ti me working 4 jobs for them which is amazing. the internet and wifi at the uni is brilliant. the lecturers are amazing, wonderful and friendly people who push you beyond your limits and this is what I love as I have achieved so much whilst being here.

Had a really good experience for my first year
It has been great and the campus has everything you need.
Great university campus in the city, lively.
the campus has plenty of great resources, such as the boots library which is a good study space and has many research resources. there’s practically a society for every interest so you’ll always be able to find someone to connect with, it’s great to have societies as it’s allowed for so many different people to connect that wouldn’t have met otherwise. i haven’t spent much time at the su this year, a couple of nights out in district and few study dates at the grumpy mule have been pretty nice though. ntu prides its self on employability and definitely follows through, from first year the course is designed to work similar to how you would need to in the industry and they make sure to get you looking into what jobs you might want to focus your direction on. all besides one power cut never had any issues with the internet connection or its speed which has been fantastic as there’s nothing more frustrating than slow wifi!
It was quite nice, just wanted a bit more care for exchange students, which is a different situation than a regular or an international student

Very gorgeous building, I dont really engage with many events/societies however as I live too far to attend - therefore my opinion on such isnt very good.
Studying at NTU has been a really positive experience. The professors are knowledgeable and supportive and the courses are well-organized and engaging. I’ve learned a lot and grown both academically and personally. The sports facilities are great whether it’s the gym, fitness classes or student clubs, there’s always something to join. And the range of societies is amazing too! There’s something for every interest and it’s a fun way to meet people, try new things, and feel more connected to campus life. The whole environment is friendly, vibrant and welcoming. I’m genuinely happy with my choice to study here.

Studying at Clifton Campus which is easily accessible from the city, there is an on campus shop and pub/student union which is very fun. I have joined in with a couple societies although most are base at City Campus.The wi-fi is always good.

I really like the campus, both its aesthetics and the classrooms
Campus is very safe and everyone so friendly. Lots of events to keep busy and meet new people.
Great uni with outstanding lecturers, staff, and opportunities. Societies are a bit lacking, though.

Although I personally am only involved in a few societies etc., it is always obvious when there are SU or university events taking place, which is more than often.
I’ve had an outstanding experience living in the university’s student accommodation. From the moment I arrived, everything was incredibly well-organized, making the move-in process smooth and stress-free. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and always available to answer any questions. The rooms are modern, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable furnishings and plenty of storage. High-speed internet, well-maintained common areas, and fully equipped kitchens made daily life convenient and enjoyable. I particularly appreciated the quiet study areas and social spaces that struck a perfect balance between academic focus and community life. The sense of community here is fantastic. There are regular events and activities that help residents connect and form lasting friendships. Security is taken seriously, and I’ve always felt safe thanks to the secure entry systems and friendly on-site support teams. Overall, living in the university accommodation has significantly enriche

Nottingham Trent university is a uni which i could not recommend more! the facilities provided are amazing and everyone is so friendly and helpful
Made quite a few friends and there are always people in the point you can go up to and talk to / play pool with

I had a fantastic experience at Arcadian Student Accommodation, and I give it 5 stars. The location is perfect—close to everything I needed, and the rooms were clean, modern, and secure. What really made my stay exceptional, though, was the staff—especially Lina. She was always kind, approachable, and went out of her way to help with any issues, big or small.

Great accommodation that is in such a convenient spot in the city
Honestly been a really good place to stay as a student. The cleaner is super kind and always says hi – you can tell she actually cares about keeping the place nice. Maintenance guy is proper good at his job too, always quick to fix stuff and knows what he’s doing. Management have been solid – they’re easy to contact and actually get back to you, which isn’t always the case in student accom. Receptionists are lovely as well, always helpful, hard working and good at keeping us updated with stuff. Overall I’ve had a good experience living here – the staff definitely make it better.

NTU provided me a second home where I am developing my personal and career relevant skills, it also provide me the spaces and plenty of activities to enjoy my free time.

great stay so far , um lovely experience in general tbh
Staff will treat you will respect and will aid your knowledge surrounding your degree. All staff are experts in the area of study for your degree which gives you so much knowledge, depth and interesting understanding to support you learning.
NTU Clifton Campus has a lovely canteen, with good choice of foods. Lots of well-maintained outdoor spaces, good gym and Students Union with Costa Coffee and a shop. Some of the buildings are older and not as well equipped as others, and charging laptops in some older rooms can be an issue. Staff are friendly and supportive.

Campus and facilities are all within walking distance of accommodation. Students Union are lovely to speak to.

Coming to university as a first year student was quite nerve racking but coming to crown place was very easy as the social areas are very lively. The staff here are very friendly and helpful especially Ashleigh our receptionist who is wonderful.

Lots of things to do. Lots of benches around and su normally hold lots of different events like bingo.

Good overall, need better air conditioning in design and digital arts building
The student accommodation is clean, well-maintained, and conveniently located near campus. Facilities are modern and secure, with friendly staff and a good community atmosphere. It offers a comfortable living environment suitable for both study and social life. Highly recommended.

The student union is a great place to socialize and the sport facilities and gym are really top end. The WiFi is also very fast

WiFi could be a lot better I have to use hotspot
I have no complaints. Generally, I have always received good support and it has helped me with my studies. But Sometimes I don't get a reply to my email inquiries.

Too expensive. I am paying a high price for halls with en-suites, however the rooms are tiny, the location - although right next to an aldi, is ages from the uni, and dangerous! I have been followed home, harassed by people on the street, and felt generally unsafe, all to live somewhere that is so expensive. There is 24/7 security, so I feel safe inside the place, although the gates out front were left unlocked at night for a while, as the key-pad that lets the cars in was broken, and staff literally said they couldn’t be bothered getting up to open it for cars. This made me feel unsafe and it took months to fix. It took some adjusting to be able to sleep here, as police cars seem to drive past every 5 minutes and the traffic outside is constant - so I can’t open my window. This would be a good accommodation to live in IF it were much cheaper. I have friends in the city centre paying less for private halls that are of a much higher standard.

Great facilities Such as the library to help me learn and all the lecturing halls and great wifi to connect to my laptop. Clubs I haven’t had the best experience with but that might just be me. And student Union and career services have been helpful
