Very good facilities with a spar on site. Loads of societies and activities.
Again, the university has everything you need and gives a nice community feel to the students despite it being in the middle of the city.
Much better than I thought it'd be.
Good location, within walking distance to the university, tram stop and city centre. Facilities are alright but lacking social gathering or get together spaces. Improvement can be made to incorporate social areas. Internet speed is good.

It’s great to hear you’re enjoying the location and finding the internet reliable — being close to the university, tram stop, and city centre is definitely a plus!
Good socials that happen often
Everything has been great but maybe not having much around is kind of difficult for people who don’t drive
All of them are 5* and I am very happy to be part of them and the university.
Im at 1st year graphic designer, and for the amount that i paid to be here, seems reasonable comparing to how much resources i am given, however it still feels like i have to pay a little bit more to showcase my projects in higher quality. Especially printing your process and final outcomes, however its optional. Tutors usually prefer analog work on process book, but digital is fine as well. They are friendly and want to make sure you engage and feel comfortable within the studies, and I really appreciate the amount of feedback/help I was given and others to get better on our task. Loads of events and guest talks to motivate me and technical help is also great. The new building which I reside called "DADA" has loads of rooms to study in and computers for digital work. Also providing amazing views of the city.
Couldn’t recommend NTU more, there’s something for everyone here, the level of support is so appreciated, There is always someone to talk to whether that’s someone at the SU or staff on campus, the opportunity’s Trent has given is amazing such as work experience and new friends!

It’s great to know you’ve made meaningful connections and gained valuable experiences
its okay nothing too much, you have to do everything yourself and find information yourself
Great facilities for studying however the gym in the city is far too small
all very good not much to complain about
Couldnt be happier with the university facilities! No problems there. Lots of help all around and great study areas.
As an international student studying International Business at Nottingham Business School, my experience has been positive. From day one, I felt welcomed and supported by both the staff and other students. It’s such a diverse and friendly environment, which made it easy to connect with people and settle in quickly. The course is engaging and focused on real-world learning. We cover topics that are happening in global business right now, and there’s a big emphasis on practical skills too. The lecturers are approachable and passionate about what they teach, which makes classes more enjoyable and interactive. The City Campus is such a great place to study. It’s modern, well-designed and easy to navigate. I appreciate how everything is in one place—from lecture halls to cafés to study spaces- making day-to-day life more convenient. The library is also well-equipped and a great space to focus.
Great university for all students
facilities are good but expensive, the union i don’t really know much about and the internet is good but breaks down sometimes

We're glad to hear you’re happy with the facilities and internet overall, though we understand occasional issues can be frustrating. If you ever get the chance, we’d definitely encourage you to check out the Students’ Union — there’s a lot on offer, from support to events and opportunities to get involved.
It was a good experience, but there could have been more freshers events
Services provided by NTU have been fantastic and has really made me enjoy my time at NTU
Overall good! The campus is nice and close to the city
The University in general doesn't really cater to my needs, I don't think there are enough variety and options in terms of student groups and societies.
Campus is small so easy to get to lectures WiFi can be on and off and su if good vibes
Good university with good courses
Clifton is ok. It does the job. The point is pretty good, theres a good community there.
have loved mostly everything about first year; new surroundings, new people and new opportunities
I love it, amazing experience so far!
Nottingham Trent University has been a fantastic experience for me. The campus is vibrant and well-equipped, with modern facilities that support both learning and socializing such as Boots library. The variety of courses offered is impressive, and the teaching quality has been consistently high. I've found the staff to be approachable and supportive, always willing to help with any questions or concerns. The university also hosts numerous events and activities, making it easy to meet new people and get involved in the community. Overall, I highly recommend Nottingham Trent University for anyone looking for a dynamic and engaging educational experience.

Its great to hear that your experience at NTU has been positive, from the campus to the supportive staff and events. It’s great to know you’ve found the resources and community here valuable.
The area is nice accomodation is a short walk to lectures
Good experience so far only had one year so far.
Very good place to be people are friendly and there are always events on
All things above are great - the only recommendation I have is to make it clearer on how I can access career advice!
All in all very good experience but the price of new halls is a bit expensive for what you get
Had loads of different campus facilities like the point, library, shop, etc. Student union is better in the city centre but it's still great. So many different societies to join as well.
I had an amazing experiences and would recommend this to more people in the future. perfect location and brilliant management team!
I absolutely love NTU, it’s an incredibly well facilitated campus with safe spaces for everyone, and everything you could ever need. I also think that they especially care about supporting students mental health and safety
A good student union with good events
The campus is great and has lots of stuff to do
i enjoy studying there as its giving a peaceful ambiance
Wonderful experience so far at Nottingham-Trent university.
very good good experience met new people
Lovely staff members, the student support area is absolutely brilliant - make full use of it. So many different areas to study, or just hang out with friends. Student cafes are great.

We’re so glad to hear you’ve had a positive experience with our staff and student support services. It’s also great to know you’ve enjoyed the study spaces and student cafes — we aim to provide spaces where students can both work and relax.
The apartment is clean, well-located, and perfect for a comfortable stay
University has everything u need from library resources, cheap shops such as art, print and food. Always help available and the job opportunities are huge from experience to placements.

We’re so glad to hear that the resources, support, and job opportunities have made a positive impact on your time at NTU. It’s great to know you’ve found everything you need, from study resources to affordable services and career opportunities.
From the start I was out in a really good flat with a good group of people and I’ve met so many more whilst being there
All facilities are very useful and easy to find
NTU has genuinely been a fantastic experience! I chose to live in Private accommodation as I felt you could get more for your money elsewhere so I picked York House which I would highly recommend! There are over 150 societies at NTU and you can join as many as you want, you can choose what activities you would like to attend as well. The Students Union hosts activities like crafting or sports related on the Events page so make sure to keep an eye on that to meet more people but also to relax. The social spaces in NTU are amazing too including the library, bar, club and cafe. There are endless opportunities available here too which really encouraged me to join NTU. For example, in July, I am attending a summer school in Slovenia for 3 weeks paid for by the university which is an incredible opportunity. My tip for coming to NTU is take every opportunity, do not pressure yourself into going out if it isn't your thing and just enjoy yourself! First year goes by so quickly!
It’s alright, good uni choice for everyone
Nottingham Trent University offers a vibrant and inclusive student experience with a strong focus on practical learning and employability. The teaching is engaging, with industry-relevant courses and supportive lecturers who encourage hands-on experience. The campuses are modern, well-equipped, and spread across great locations, with the City Campus being particularly lively. Student life is buzzing with societies, events, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it easy to make friends. Accommodation options are varied, with both on-campus and city-based choices. NTU’s strong industry links and career support services help students secure internships and graduate jobs. Overall, it’s a fantastic university for those looking for a well-rounded education in a friendly and dynamic environment.
Good University and really good if you are an international student
Amazing stay! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The receptionist was absolutely wonderful—friendly, helpful, and made me feel so welcome. The accommodation itself was clean, comfortable, and exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
Best uni for employment and best nightlife
LOVE my course. Has been my favourite part of the experience so far. Also such a great student city
Studying TESOL at NTU has been a rewarding journey. The course is well-structured, with supportive lecturers and useful readings that truly deepen our understanding of language teaching. I’ve especially enjoyed the focus on real-world application, like analysing textbooks and evaluating vocabulary activities. The student life is vibrant, and the library is a great place to focus. My accommodation is close to campus, so commuting isn't a problem. However, some readings can be quite dense, and managing deadlines across modules takes careful planning. Overall, NTU provides a great learning environment for MA TESOL students, with strong academic support and a welcoming campus vibe.
I’ve really enjoyed my time at NTU. The social and city life is amazing with a good mix of urban and nature. There were things that could’ve been better on my course but I still enjoyed being here
NTU has been a great experience, mainly because of the amazing support system. However, accommodation needs major improvements, and some aspects of uni life could be better. Despite that, I’ve had valuable opportunities, met great people, and grown a lot!
Top tier facilities and equipment for anything audio related, the studios and equipment are always in perfect condition when you need to use them and the booking system is easy to use. My course has taught me everything I need to know for a good start in my career, and the lecturers are lovely people who are very easy to talk to about anything. Student services are responsive, accommodation is everywhere (go for the cheap ones, the people are always nicer there), and the nightlife is better than anywhere else.
Amazing student life ! Always an event or social to attend. Clean campus, my course is visibly however understaffed and underprovided for. Everything close together in the city so no need to travel too far.
Great facilities and opportunities to learn
Great university, worldclass facilities, amazing staff, very well managed professionally.
NTU city campus is in such good location, everything is easy to get to and close to accoms. Clubs and societies are such a opportunity for socialising and meeting new people.

We’re so glad to hear that you’re enjoying the great location of our City Campus and finding the clubs and societies to be a fantastic way to meet new people.
One of the campuses in the UK with lots of great facilities around.
During my studies at NTU, I became chronically ill and disabled. My course team and the wider support at NTU (such as the disability team) provided so much support through this process as I had a pretty massive treatment for my health issues during this time. I have been supported every step of the way and feel safe to advocate for myself and others like me because of the support I have received. The teaching team for my course (biomedical science) are excellent both at lecturing and providing pastoral support to students. I would 110% recommend studying at NTU - especially if like me, you love pink!

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re so glad to hear that the support from your course team and the disability services made such a positive impact during such a challenging time. It's wonderful to know you felt safe and supported throughout your journey. Your feedback means a lot, and we’re so grateful to have had you as part of our NTU community.
Great experience at ntu! The employability hub has been so helpful throughout my time here and the facility’s are great

Best accommodation I’ve stayed at during my time at University. They actually accommodate your needs as a student! :)

We’re thrilled to hear that you’ve had such a positive experience with our accommodation.
good! does what it needs to do! the social life is the key element
NTU is a home away from home. I recommend going here.
Moving away from home, family, and friends completely and starting university at NTU has been a great experience. There are plenty of student accommodation options, both private and university affiliated, that will meet anybody’s different needs and are within a 10-20 minute walk from the university. The social life in the city is far from lacking, whether you drink or not, enjoy nights out or in, there is something for you to enjoy and a way for you to meet new lovely, fun people. The university itself is very organised and the first week or two make adjusting seamless. The course and people are great and I would, and do, recommend starting university here to anyone.
i have thoroughly enjoyed the course, although it was not what i expected from history. i was expecting constant essay writing for assignments but instead we have done a podcast, a film and made a digital map
The societies often don't put on enough events and there's barely any student union things that go on

From the start, my uni experience was great. Every day brought something new to learn and experience. I met great alumni, made new friends, and connected with my community like never before. I enjoy every moment of it and know I’m going to miss it once I graduate.
I was not sure about coming to the uk to study but over time it grew on me. The social life, support and environment make for an an amazing experience.

LOVE Nottingham Trent University, the social life is the best, teachers are great and support when it is needed. Student mentors are kind and helpful. They check in regularly to make sure that you are settling in properly and to make sure that you are ok. If you have any problems they are great to talk to.
I’ve really loved my course here at uni, studying illustration I have access to a lot of facilities. Love all my lecturers they all give great feedback and viewpoints. I’m part of a range of societies which all host regular events and have some lovely committee members. I haven’t done much with the students union but they hold regular events and stalls for prints and clothes. We receive regular emails with job and career opportunities. I’m yet to have issue with the WiFi.
NTU has a wide variety of courses taught by many amazing individuals and the community is very welcoming. It also has easy access to transport and shops which is very convenient for those living on and off campus.

NTU is a versatile and well-rounded university to study at. They have a strong focus on employability and make sure you feel prepared going forth after graduation. NTU is an amazing university with MANY opportunities. I love my course, although there could be amendments to the structure, I thoroughly enjoy it. My accommodation is a bit far out and expensive for what it is, but I’ve had no issues so far and it’s still nice for what it is!

It’s understandable that the accommodation could be a bit further out and pricier, but it’s good to know you’ve had no issues with it so far. Pretty good university. I like that the teaching style is very modern, the University does seem to put in an effort to encourage group activities.

My Experience at Nottingham Trent University My time at Nottingham Trent University (NTU) has been nothing short of incredible. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed into a vibrant and supportive community that has shaped both my academic and personal growth. One of the highlights of my university experience has been joining the Burlesque Society, where I found a fantastic group of like-minded individuals who made my time at NTU even more special. I’ve made so many friends throughout the years, from my course, societies, and student life in general, creating lifelong memories along the way. Varsity has been a major part of my NTU experience, and attending the Ice Hockey Varsity match was a definite standout. The rivalry with the University of Nottingham brings such an exciting atmosphere, and the pride of being from Trent is unmatched. Accommodation played a huge role in my overall enjoyment. My first-year accommodation was fantastic, and moving in with my best friends in my s
