this uni is really good, there’s lots of different people and societies and it’s really fun
The Nottingham Trent University City Campus is such a well laid out campus in the heart of the city. The modules available on my English course have been really interesting, though the team-based project modules have been challenging in terms of working with others. All of the staff across all departments of the university are really helpful and supportive.

I thorpughly enjoyed my experience here as I found myself meeting so many people from so many backgrounds. This really helped me become part of a community and learn about different cultures.
I’m experience at NTU has been great. It gave me the opportunity to meet new people and eventually they became my closest friends. The extracurricular opportunities available have helped develop my soft skills which will contribute to my future career.
My experience at NTU has been great so far! The lectures are engaging, and the professors are really supportive. Looking forward to more amazing experiences ahead.

as a whole the university is quite supportive in every aspect - however they can be a little slow with academic support aswell as well being support which makes a huge difference if someone is struggling whilst studying. I think the campus is great and the courses structures are very well done so every student stays on track however again, with little support it can be a struggle so this is something they need to improve one.

Great experience at the university

We all know the importance of the work life balance and we try to ensure all our students have access to the right tools to ensure they do not feel too stressed. Good overall ,friendly staff and good Maintainence
One of the best university out there, in a very student friendly city
Thank you for sharing your review of Nottingham Trent it is always great to hear from our students about the experience we offer. Nottingham is a fantastic city with lots to offer our students! It's also perfectly placed in the East Midlands with excellent transport links both locally and nationally. Don't forget to take advantage of the local public transport which offer student discounts for travel.
The university is great, the only thing I dislike are the timetables. In short, NTU is a great university, i would recommend it to anyone.

Improve the wifi for better connection
As an international student, I am so much amazed by such support, love and kindness from every other person in the whole university. From students support to student union and to my course, everything is just perfect. There are facilities for international students. I was there for student well being, mental health support and ecen got food parcels they’re giving to deserving students. This experience is wonderful

Nottingham Trent University is an amazing place to study and grow. The City Campus is beautiful and full of energy, with so many opportunities for students. There are different buildings for lectures, great study spaces, and the Global Lounge is such a welcoming spot to meet new people from around the world. The Students’ Union is super active and always organizing fun events, workshops, and support activities. There are so many facilities and ways to build yourself up personally and professionally here. Overall, it’s a really nice university with a great atmosphere and supportive community!

It’s pretty good. A lot of people come to this university just like last former CEO of Tesco Dave Lewis himself came here to give wonderful lecture. You get a lot of chances to socialise and to gain knowledge. Over here grades to not speak for you whether it’s good or bad, Your speak for yourself.

Our libraries offer all students across all campuses to access their resources both online and physically. The Libraries are usually open 24/7 during term time.

I am currently a Design Student in 2nd year at the City Campus. This course genuinely changed my life. I am a mature student (26) and was struggling to figure out the direction of my future. Since I started studying at NTU they have been incredibly supportive, inclusive and understanding. Every module leader and tutor I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with, has been incredibly engaging and such an inspiration. I cannot express enough the talent and facilities that this school has to offer in the Art & Design department. 10/10 reccomend.

Absolutely love my experience at NTU.
I honestly love living at HelloStudent The Frontage. My apartment was super clean and well looked after. The staff at the front desk are so friendly and welcoming, they really make you feel at home from day one. Any time I’ve needed help with something, maintenance has been really quick to sort it out. The staff are super organized and always go out of their way to help, which makes such a big difference, especially when you’re new to the country. I also really appreciate the overnight security it makes me feel safe knowing someone’s always around. The social spaces are amazing too, perfect for hanging out with friends or just relaxing after uni classes. The location is right in the city centre, so everything’s within walking distance. As an international student, having such a clean, friendly, and secure place to live has made me feel so comfortable and settled. It really feels like a home away from home. Highly recommend!

Mainly Good, Student union do not host enough events that actually cater to ethnics

To summarise the facilities provided by university are one of the best out there, good learning opportunities and a lot of on campus events for students to get used to university, their life here and job opportunities.

NTU provide me with great facilities and educational support the location of campuses are great and and the students union is organized with lots of fun activities. Wife connections could be better it has some issues sometimes.

A supportive learning environment with dedicated faculty, good facilities and an active student life. The overall experience so far has been rewarding.
I really enjoy studying at NTU, there's loads of support systems in place and all my lecturers are so helpful and informative! The societies are really easy to join and I would definitely recommend. It's such a student based city aswell so there's loads to do around the University.

I’ve only been here for a month, and I’m already in love with Nottingham! The uni offers so many amazing opportunities, and the teachers are not only super knowledgeable and experienced, but also ALWAYS ready to help. That’s honestly one of the biggest reasons I’m excited to go to class every day🥹 There are so many ways to socialise and grow here; even someone like me, who used to be pretty introverted, has started becoming more outgoing😄 So happy I chose NTU!

NTU is very good and they are very nice
I like to stay here. Trinity Square is so near campus and City Centre it provides more convenience. Also the staff here is very friendly and kind always their to help its tenants thats something really to look forward too as we dont have any family here.

The Wi-Fi can be hit and miss and the NTU app is quite confusing but you get ahold of it in time

I’m an international student and the reception from both the school and the people I’ve met along the way has just been exceptional. I was really worried that I was going to be lonely being away from home and all but NTU is creating a new home for me here in Nottingham and I can’t wait to see what other amazing opportunities will be available to me through the uni.
As an international student, I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience at NTU. From the very beginning, the support was amazing. The university even offered an airport pickup, which saved me both money and stress. During the international enrolment events, the staff were super friendly, patient, and really clear about everything. I felt genuinely taken care of. The library has been a lifesaver, especially for a master’s student like me. They offer great academic writing support, and the study spaces are quiet and cozy. I’m based at Clifton Campus, and having the academic bus pass (£299 for the whole year!) has been such a money-saver since it covers a wide area. There are tons of clubs and societies to join, especially for sports and even if you’re not into serious training, the “play for fun” sessions are such a nice way to relax and meet people. I’ve also joined a few free workshops like pottery and art exhibitions, which made student life so much more fun and creat

Good university with great tutors. But the organisational processes are always bad(
NTU has a lot ameneties for students to avail. There are some great resources you have access to, and NTSU is very welcoming and makes us feel communal
Services are NTU or extensive lots of support courses are very taught based, but professors provide lots of one-to-one support and external support as well

The University is vast and boast excellent infrastructure. The welcome week events were thoughtfully planned and well organised.
So far, its only been like 3 weeks but the university is amazing, the support staff on the helpdesks and center have genuine intensions, the tutors are very invested and attentive, the facilities provided by the institution is top notch. So far i have got nothing to complain about. Hope to have a pleasant experience here
