One London Road stands out as a premier choice for modern living in Newcastle-under-Lyme, offering a sophisticated blend of privacy and community that is hard to match. The self-contained studios are thoughtfully designed with high-spec kitchenettes and floor-to-ceiling windows, but the true highlight is the range of amenities, including a professional-grade gym and stunning landscaped roof gardens that provide an unrivaled social space. Its location is a major strategic advantage, situated within easy walking distance of both the Royal Stoke University Hospital and the town center's vibrant nightlife, making it an ideal hub for medical students and young professionals alike. While the premium finish comes at a higher price point, the convenience of all-inclusive billing and the high level of security make it a stress-free, stylish sanctuary in a bustling area.

Campus and facilities are quite good. There is a range of societies revolving around culture, courses, hobbies, interests. SU has activities up quite regularly. Internet isn't bad its just slower in some areas.
doesn't cater to my needs and can have some improvements on the wifi especially
amazing experience and would recommend for future students!
It was definitely an experience.
Extremely pretty campus filled with nature and flowers. The classrooms and buildings are a little old but they do the job! They have many prayer rooms and options for students to go to for prayer or studying or relaxing
Amazing 24/7 library, lovely social spaces
love keele! great community and vibes
It’s been a great university experience. However there aren’t many places to go socially in Newcastle and Stoke
I love the uni, especially the clubs
WiFi is abit off but eveyhting else is amazing Keele is such a unitive place everyone’s friends and everyone’s a community
Good campus, the clubs and societies could be more/ I know my girlfriend wants dance society to do competitions.

never joined a club or society so you can ignore that
Keele uni has lots of great facilities, including the library, although it’s a bit small and not very modern. There are plenty of spaces to study even outside the library. There’s a couple shops on campus too which is nice, so I can’t complain.
Great university with great people and services
A good university, but improvements can be made
I absolutely love living here! The accommodation has been such a great experience from day one. The rooms are modern, clean, and really comfortable, and the whole place feels safe and well looked after. The facilities are great, and everything I need is easily accessible, which makes student life so much easier. The staff are also amazing—always friendly, approachable, and quick to help with anything. It’s a really welcoming environment, and I’ve met some great people here too. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my choice. It’s the perfect place to live as a student, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay! Danielle and mandy are the best!
My experience at Keele University has been positive overall. The campus is beautiful and peaceful, which makes it a great environment for studying. There are many clubs and societies to join, so it’s easy to meet new people. The Students’ Union organizes fun events and supports students well. The Wi-Fi is reliable for studying. Overall, Keele provides a supportive and friendly environment for students.
I love my psychology course and how beautiful the campus is. Unfortunately sometimes it can be hard to find a parking space but that’s a minor thing.
pretty good! not amazing or anything but it's certainly a university
Enjoyable experience, great campus
Many good events hosted throughout the year and societies are friendly
Great campus overall, beautiful campus, good amount of facilities too
Good facilities and campus. Not much to complain about.
Overall it is really good and welcoming
Clean accommodation, really nice staff, good location and amazing room
Love it!!! Very good place to be
Mostly good however some lecturers are useless, su hasn't change and is getting worse
Very happy with everything can’t complain
Very nice university love the greenery
Overall I’m satisfied with my time at Keele University.
Nice campus and good bus service
good. beautiful campus. and very good lectures.
Danielle is the best. She’s kind and hospitable. Aldo sets up multiple events for us .😎
Good place with good facilities
Great place to study, lots of societies and courses to choose from. Range of courses taught by experienced lecturers and guest speakers who can help translate skills into the workplace.
Love the campus and the environment.
Perfect in all matters. Great Uni with great uni life. Will always keep you engaged and never make you feel lonely. Very beautiful campus
Lovely campus, great community with very supportive staff
Best decision I have ever made, keele university have the most supporting staff and community. Studying psychology with counselling at Keele has opened alot of opportunities for me to excel in the future.
i love the campus and the atmosphere it provides as well as the myriad of events they put on
Great, nice lecturers, variety of buildings, good societies lovely campus very refreshing and nice to see.
beautiful greenery, and area, however bus does become a bit unreliable. The student union really emphasises their enthusiasm to support everyone which is good and there is alot of support staff which i’d really emphasised which is good.
Great place to study. Great facilities.
lovely university. had a great time so far, a lovely area with beautiful views! amazing forensics equipment too!
It was a good place to stay, although WiFi wasn't the best but I got through
Decent uni good staff parking people are annoying
I have absolutely loved my time and experience at Keele. There’s a great balance of social and educational activities here which is great to keep on track for my end goal of graduating!
Whilst campus is lovely, there really is nothing to do here. Unless you're studying a healthcare course or are looking to study somewhere unbearably quiet, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. The one upside is there is nothing to distract me from my work.
The university has many opportunities for students for social activities and the support for students is great.
It is a very tight knit community as it is a campus uni and it doesn’t really have anything surrounding it, my experience has been great and I have made amazing friends here. I have always felt safe on campus and always felt like the environment was lovely and clean :)
Brilliant University all things considered. Can’t think of any faults
Good university experience so far
The university services are good.
Beautiful campus and good teaching quality
Very good uni I do recommend it
pretty good overall nothing too bad and nothing to complain about
Keele University has been such a great experience. I feel safe and happy here and it has honestly changed my life going here. There are so many opportunities academically and socially and the small, village-like campus makes you feel really part of the community. Their wellbeing and disability support provisions are brilliant.
Great university with good support and lots of activities going on. Support in all aspects provided like mental health, career and finance.
I’ve been at university for 5 months now, i’ve had a lot of fun experiences during my course and with friends.
very good accommodation and friendly staff
Good university with a beautiful campus
Keele is decent innit One London road is not decent
Have had a good experience on campus
The university is great as everything is all in one place on campus and very simple to find
Keele has a beautiful campus, but facilities could be better. Additionally, the surrounding area where student accommodation for latter years is, is not the nicest. The students union is okay, the committee seem very committed and welcoming, however it is overpriced and events aren't the best. Wifi is sufficient for studying, but for on campus students it is usually not good enough to support many leisure activities like gaming.
Positive experience with facilities and student union. My specific subject school has high staff turnover and that can have an effect on teaching, staff/ academic mentors are sometimes hard to communicate with.
Although I'm in 2nd year of university making me go less on campus I have see societies and events that were good
The lecturers are super helpful with any inquiries you may have, even if you believe it’s a stupid question it doesn’t hurt to ask. The clubs and societies are a great way to make friends with similar interest or hobbies.
Timetabling and organisation are far from good most of the time, and scheduled lectures on Teams don’t always mean that a lecturer will attend to present. Organisation of placement and time spent doing relevant, placement-related tasks was not productive for a large proportion of the time (year 1). Lectures can be very lengthy (3 1/2 hours - both in-person and on Teams) and the content “taught” does not always match the way in which would provide the best, meaningful learning opportunities, especially as this is a practical course and practical job. There are some brilliant lecturers, mostly those who have teaching qualifications and understand the teaching and learning cycles, and how opportunities to embed learning are important. However, this is not the case for all modules and all lecturers.
Really nice university, wanted to specially give a shout out to my lecturer Mick Pender from the business school nothing is too much trouble the best mentor I could of ever wished for really was there for me during all the stresses and concerns.
the admin is a mess and the timetable is changing every week
SU had lots of events but not many were popular
student union is fine, they keep cancelling our room bookings and have been generally unsupportive, nights out generally suck imo but the kpa is lovely, and the campus is great
Some amazing scenery with a big history behind it. Have joined lots of sports and societies and been able to make friends and endless memories.
The su is enjoyable because I go with my friends but they need to change the music from time to time and so specific nights to entice more people to go out.
The campus is good and pretty but could benefit from more buses. On campus food is expensive. The prices are not student friendly.
Overall a reasonable experience
Vibrant academic atmosphere, surrounded by natural beauty, and offers emough extracurricular opportunities for students."
Some student experiences going downhill, less SU events, especially for those not into club nights, Nice campus overall
My first year on campus was good, wifi did go down once but it wasn’t too bad. The societies were very sports focused.
amazing campus based uni experience !
After being insanely indecisive about uni I love it at Keele, the grounds are gorgeous for walking around when stressed out and the academic mentors and careers team are very helpful, and I love the people I've met here. However the SU has gone down hill a bit this year with worse events and turnout.
For a campus uni i didnt expect the events to be particularly good however they were amazing, the SU nights out were always great, there is good access to lots of facilities across campus and they are definitely up to standard. My only concern is that the careers team are hard to access, i struggled to find how to contact them. But once i did they were helpful, Its a fab uni
Keele University offers an exceptional student experience. The state-of-the-art lecture theatres and labs are accessible to all, enhancing the learning environment. With over 150 societies, there are abundant opportunities to make new friends and explore various interests. The Careers Service is outstanding, helping with career progression, organizing career fairs, and collaborating with local businesses to offer students opportunities. They provide excellent support for job applications, placements, part-time, and graduate roles, as well as career and interview advice. The Students' Union is always there to support any student needs, from housing advice to engaging activities and general wellbeing. The lush Keele woods are perfect for leisure, play, and reflection. Various thought-provoking lectures on interdisciplinary topics are regularly organized by the university. The sense of community created by staff, lecturers, and students makes Keele a wonderful place to study and grow.
a university that feels like home away from home, great facilities coupled with the most supportive staff.
My accommodation was good, some things were broken bur they were quickly fixed by maintenance. The accommodation is extortionate and my maintenance loan didn't cover all of the fees. If there was a slightly larger shop on campus such as an aldi that would be helpful as campus is quite far from newcastle under Lyme. The SU holds lots of good events, some have now stopped though. Overall the campus is very nice, lots of walks and the shops available are good.
Not had any experience with careers yet, however overall the campus is nice.
Keele is a small campus and. To some may seem boring but there’s always something to do and it’s such a safe and fun community
Love the campus ! And ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE KEELE HALL !!!!
Overall quite good however things could be improved, like more study spaces
School of Nursing and Midwifery is second to none. Amazing teaching staff, great facilities which will be even better when Darwin is finished. Forever proud to be a Keele student midwife.
Good student union nights. Lots of different artists
WiFi constantly cuts out and is inconsistent across campus
Not many societies. The Wi-Fi went down one time but otherwise it was great
The overall campus experience has been good
Every so often there’s a great night as the SU but would be nice if there were more events
I’ve not had any experience with the careers team so would not be able to give an accurate review. Campus is lovely and has everything you need.
The library opens 24/7 for most days and most facilities work well.
Lovely uni with a really nice campus
