As a final-year student nurse
As a final-year student nurse, my experience at university has been truly life-changing. Returning to education as a mature student with a teenage son, while also managing a mental health condition and dyslexia, was daunting at times, but the support from the university has been incredible. The lecturers and staff have always been approachable, understanding and genuinely invested in helping students succeed. The course has challenged me, helped me grow in confidence, and equipped me with the skills needed for my future career. The additional academic and wellbeing support has been invaluable, and I've also made lifelong friends who have supported me throughout this journey. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities, encouragement and sense of belonging the university has given me. ❤️
