I had very great experience and i am enjoying studying with university of Leicester
Goo university diverse people WiFi doesn’t work in some spots or is really slow
I'm currently in my second year at the University of Leicester and have really enjoyed my experience so far. Supportive staff and a great environment to study in.
Very positive experience, great property!!
It is a good school with complete facilities. But the terrain is too high, and I have to climb very steep slopes every time.
My experience at the University of Leicester has been very rewarding. The lecturers are supportive, the campus has excellent facilities, and the diverse student community makes it a welcoming place for international students. The university offers plenty of opportunities for academic growth, research, and extracurricular activities, while the city itself is affordable and student-friendly. Overall, it's a great environment to learn, grow, and prepare for future opportunities.
The careers service is not that good, there are not that many part time opportunities being suggested.
Good uni with great student support and nice facilities
Great university with lots of support if needed.
Good evenvironment for study . Amazing staff and campus tours .
good regular events and helpful student union team, however campus food could have a better selection and slightly cheaper.
The campus is a great, lively place with a lot to do. The Student Union has multiple food spots and cosy areas to hang out with your friends. There are numerous clubs and societies to join, catering to a wide range of interests.

Princess Street is the best accommodation in Leicester. It has such nice rooms and great facilities ! Scott is the receptionist and he’s so friendly and helpful with everything
Helped with my course and further progression into the economic and business field
love my university, very lovely rooms and facilities
it’s alright i guess and old-fashioned but the level of support is impeccable
Very good for medicine, other areas may be lacking
Campus is neat and tidy and easy to navigate. Buildings are well-kept
It's a good University for international students as it is cheaper than other options in the UK
My experience at the University of Leicester has been quite rewarding so far in terms of the excellent education and research opportunities I’ve undertook, the state of the art technology and high-level facilities I have had access to, the lively student environment and satisfaction I’ve gained from being here and getting to interact both inside my course and through extracurricular activities hosted by the Student Union.
Lots of freebies here and there but studying here itself is horrid. Little to no care about degrees with a small cohort compared to the bigger degrees.
The university is alright. Nothing too special, but it does the job. There are some good aspects, but overall the experience has been pretty average.
Had a good three years at University of Leicester
experience overall. The campus is easy to navigate, and the gym facilities are really good — I’ve been a regular and always found it well-equipped and welcoming. I had an issue with my examination at one point, and I was genuinely impressed with how supportive and responsive the admin team was. The uni has a diverse, inclusive atmosphere, and Leicester is a student-friendly city with everything close by.
I am loving it and would definitely recommend
Great uni, good people as well!
Campus is great, the student union has affordable food and lots to offer. Outdoor study spaces available which is nice during the summer. Computer spaces are limited with the library being used as classrooms throughout the day and half of campus under construction which means you have do work at unsociable hours. Lecturers have been brilliant throughout my time here and extremely supportive. Personal tutor meetings always offered to check you are doing ok in your course but also personal life.
Alright decent ciilbe be better
Wifi works great around campus, various clubs and societies to join and the campus is really nice
Very good university to study if you have lived in a city.
Good university. Kind, helpful lectures and wellbeing officers
Good university, would recommend
Very good at career guidance and support.
Amazing accom great for meeting people and socialising
Great experience and time at university of Leciester , learnt loads in and out of classes! Made lifelong friends as well. Made me a better person for the future.
Good, But Need more of placement service
I am a first year student and have really enjoyed my time here. Eventhough the academic year is almost over.
my time at leicester was mediocre. i got moved into accommodation alone for the first half of my first year. there were 6 people on my course and our lessons were often in the old sections of the school. some buildings had confusing lay outs but other than that i had a good time
Currently in my last year of university and I've enjoyed it quite a lot. However, there definitely could be a lot of improvements that would boost university life. Campus in itself does not feel like a proper university campus, with minimal stores (closest supermarket is a 15 min or so walk) and not much community, its quite a disappointment if you were expecting the typical university lifestyle. Nonetheless, its not to say it ruined the experience as it still was great regardless.
The university is really accomodating and the staff are really nice.
University has been good in my 3 years. Staff are friendly both in lectures and around the campus
Filbert night staff especially Jay is so helpful with anything i need, great to be around and he doesn’t hesitate when i have any problems. Couldn’t be happier with the staff!
Great university with supportive staff!
Campus is really good with nice facilities for students
The staff here is great and I had a great experience here. The physics faculty is conscientious and the planetary science group has a very good atmosphere
Nice university for international students
The staff are around 24/7 to help and are lovely.
enjoy studying here, would recommend
Amazing resources and great people around me
Best university to learn new things and develop your experience into next level
Great opportunities offered through various events
The university is okay and has good facilities. However the WiFi is generally unreliable and is prone to stop working even in lectures which is very unhelpful when taking notes
Overall good experience. Some more modern buildings and lecturing but other issues such as staff absences, fewer learning hours, and lacking academic support in some areas.
Very good experience so far. Everything been good
Well maintained, could do with places being open till later in SU and prices being cheaper as a lot of it is expensive for such small portions
Very nice uni, very friendly always a lot to do on campus very happy I chose it for university
Being in leicester for the past 3 years has been one of the best experiences in my life. The campus, city and village has become my home.
My experience at the University of Leicester has been overwhelmingly positive. The classes have been engaging, and the teachers have consistently demonstrated a commitment to ensuring students understand the material. Their enthusiasm and expertise have created a supportive learning environment that has allowed me to thrive. I have also been impressed by the university's career department, which has provided invaluable guidance on career development, job search strategies, and interview preparation. The staff's willingness to sit down with students and offer personalized advice has been particularly helpful. While some of the university's buildings may be older, they remain functional and comfortable. Overall, I am grateful for the opportunities I have had at the University of Leicester, and I am confident that the skills and knowledge I have gained will serve me well in my future endeavors.
University of Leicester is a thriving university with lots of personal support and great facilities, especially the study spaces like the library. Places to eat on campus are excellent serving non expensive and delicious food, there is lots of widely advertised support from financial to mental health. I would recommend.
Hello this is Edwin. Studying international business at ULSB. I’m so happy and felt proud to be a student of this university. From day 1 itself I’m enjoying every bit of my campus. It’s little sad that it will end in 6months otherwise it’s an wonderful experience.
The university is very diverse and helped me adjust very quick as an international student.
love this accom! shoutout tyler- love him, so helpful!! staff are so quick to help solve any problems
Accommodation is so close to uni, staff is so friendly, especially Tyler whose always up for a chat and offers snacks. Staff are always quick to fix any issues with flat.
Not a bad experience at Leicester
The best parts of the Summit are the kind staff and comfortable rooms.
It is a very nice place to stay and good value for money

Pretty campus and good resources
It's good so far so good , accommodation accessible
The campus is fine, good teaching
University of Leicester has already made me feel so welcome, there are so many choices of societies for everyone’s hobbies, and at these I’ve met some of my friends for life.
Overall okay experience, could be better food options
Great university, loads of support and the facilities are kept well and good quality
Very good social and support within the uni
Been here for 3 years now. Abid is amazing always goes above and beyond. And management is also amazing.
Very good university when it comes to quality of the courses provided.
great space and active environment and engagement for students
Multicultural university with specialised course offerings
Personally I find some aspects of the university to be a little underwhelming but generally it's okay.
Love it here. It’s so welcoming and warm
Good uni. Everything is up to standard
Not enough support for actil studies
The university is good overall.
Beautiful place where we meet new people to connect with and learn about academic as well as other people culture.
The campus is very nice visually, and the buildings are generally modern and very sleek. There are some buildings that are old and do not reflect the University well. The library is very good but they need more space as there isn't anywhere enough facilities for the students.
Great experience and facilities are good
good campus helpful however a bit strict with attendance
University is a really nice place . Just that the business school building is far from the main campus
University lectures and surroundings are wonderful
One of the best university for geology.
Reception staffs are very kind
The University of Leicester has been an incredible experience for me, and I can’t recommend it enough. Societies are diverse and vibrant, offering everything from academic clubs to sports and creative groups. The societies have been a fantastic way to make new friends and develop skills outside of the classroom. The campus is a perfect blend of modernity and tradition, with stunning green spaces and state-of-the-art facilities like the David Wilson Library and the Centre for Medicine. It’s easy to navigate, and there’s always a peaceful spot to relax. The Student Union is the heart of campus life. With a huge variety of events, volunteering opportunities, and support services like the Student Advice Centre, it’s easy to get involved and feel connected. Finally, Career Services at Leicester are exceptional. The one-on-one guidance, CV workshops, and networking events helped me secure an internship, giving me the real-world experience needed to kick-start my career.
It's a great experience to study in this university.
very resourceful and equipped for students

I’m honestly surprised Leicester isn’t higher on the rankings. It’s so open and welcoming and everyone is so kind. My closest friend I met by saying hi on the uni bus back from campus lol. I just finished my first semester but I’m really enjoying it so far!
Is a good university and great environment
