If you need cheap accommodation this is ideal because not many places in London only cost this much (£180 a week for me at the minute). Maintenance takes maybe a couple days but generally handled. 40 minute walk from Strand and right next to guys so very easy to get to campus- also right along southbank so lovely spaces for night time walks. Had issues this year with cleaners moving our stuff into bin bags so they could clean the surfaces (moving our stuff off the counter to get to it) but they've stopped doing that now thankfully. Internet will go down sometimes but it's not a total inconvenience. If you can put up with sharing a flat with 14 people, messy kitchens, minimal fridge space and 3 toilets- it's worth it. Nice with 14 people so you can meet more students Overall decent experience

I lived at the couples flat ie a one-bedroom flat on the tenth floor for nine months in 19-20. The best sides of Wolfson House are: - its location. Short distance to each campus - it's a 35min walk to Strand Campus, 3min walk to Guy's and 15 min walk to Waterloo. - easy to move in, no hassle. - nice staff - the Wifi was super fast in my flat. The cons, however, are extensive: - Ugly and shabby from the inside and outside. Furniture is from the 80s - the washing machines are very bad. You can only use a 35min cycle and there are only 4-5 machines and dryers. Plus one of them is always broken. - it's next to Guy's Hospital Delivery point so there are trucks beeping constantly in the courtyard. Not nice if you want to sleep late or go to bed early. - Super expensive. You can get a luxurious flat from the private sector with that money. Overall, Wolfson is a convenient place if you are living abroad for the first time. However, I would recommend renting private asap.
sharing a flat of 14 it gets dirty so quickly. they clean the kitchen once a week but it gets so gross that's far too many people to one kitchen when you're paying that much. location is ideal for guys campus, bit of a walk to strand which is fine when it's not raining. security are obscenely rude. manager is nice. literally no social spaces except the common room downstairs which is a bit awkward to use generally. i didn't even meet all of my flatmates after being there for a year; that's how antisocial it is and all the floors say the same. only one shower works. quite noisy but good location to get around london.
Very shabby small rooms and sharing a kitchen with 14 people is never very clean. The cheapest King's does though so you just have to make do.
