Good room lots of facilities
Facilities insufficient and faulty. Advertised as 8-10 students when it is 8-12 in actuality. Only 2 bathrooms between 12 and kitchen too small (smaller than room size) with no alternative place to congregate.
Horrible halls not really worth the money but i wouldn't pay anymore for the other halls on campus. windows are single glazed and have wooden frames. there is no social area, but we do not pay for this so not expected, however my kitchen has a breakfast bar like table with only one chair to its height therefore everyone has to eat in their rooms. there are 12 people per floor and 2 bathrooms and one kitchen. the doors on the outside never lock and we have had random drunk people walking into our bedrooms once or twice! it is very commercial and the hallways are shared by all 3 floors. You can get a lot better accommodation for what you pay for but personally i wouldn't pay anymore as i find all of the accommodation on st johns campus is either too expensive or has draw backs. although the halls are very close to the university facilities and lecture rooms, a great benefit instead of living at the back of the campus. the cleaning staff are great! i don't regret choosing pershore.
I made a lot of friends. But i guess you have to in such a small kitchen for 12 people. The bathrooms always clog, both showers and toilets. When i got here my ceiling was already cracked and i bet that i'm going to pay for it. And to be honest it's too expensive for what you get. If you're lucky, you get a big room, if not a small room with bed and wardrobe and your desk is outside in a communal area. Personally, they can't turn this into a better place.
