I’ve stayed at college court for 2 years and enjoyed my time thoroughly. It’s main selling points are the lovely staff, en-suite rooms and the fact there is someone on reception 24/7. Would recommend to any first years

Place is really nice, it’s about a 10 minute walk straight to campus which cool :)
This is my third year at college court and I cannot recommend more, especially if you’re just starting university. The friendliness of the staff still blows me away. Flats are secure, and your room will come with an en-suite, good sized bed and more desk space than you could ask for.
Lovely staff, shops really close by and big desk space
The best accommodation in Stoke. I've been to and heard about others and this one doesn't have the problems they do. The beds are big and the desks are huge. Having your own toilet is really nice and private. On site maintenance means any issues will be fixed fast. The common room has lots of consoles and a big TV for hanging out. The staff are so kind and amazing fun to talk to. They also handle mail and deliveries really well. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else to live as a student.
I have stayed at college court for the past two years and have really enjoyed my time here.

When you have problems in your flat, reception will always help soon after you tell them
The best accommodation from my experience.
2nd year at College Court and I’ve made more friends than ever. Bedrooms are good. When things are suddenly not working and ask reception to fix it they will always fix soon after or the next day
College court is a really good accommodation if you're a first year student or even second or third. The accommodation has really good and friendly staff to help out in case there is a problem with anything. Overall I strongly recommend this accommodation.
Lived here for 3 years, overall not a bad experience, staffs are awesome :D
Staff are very nice and helpful all the time, even during COVID they are willing to do there best to make students feel better. Rooms are better than expected. Kitchen is perfect size. Overall, I am very satisfied with college court and recommend to all students.
nice living space and friendly staff, internet would go off now and again and limited social experience overall since covid.
Covid means we can't socialise, security is good, desk size unbeatable, kitchen is decent but they all very in quality. Reception is great
With corona the social experiences have been minimal but the accommodation is brilliant as a whole so safe and helpful with all problems
Overall nice place to live. Walking distance to campus and Hanley town centre, with Tesco’s 5-10 mins walk. Wifi can sometimes be unreliable every so often but majority of the time it’s fine and no issues.
Nice place to stay internet connection goes off quite often though. Helpful staff at reception
Very good friend sky staff who are always willing to help where they can. Maintenance is done either next day or same day in my experience. Had COVID not reduced social experiences there are great facilities to mix with other people. Internet seems very reliable. Have rebooked for next year
Out of all the uni accommodations college court definitely looked the best, and I was not disappointed. The internet is speedy, the staff are amazing and always helpful and on hand to help, and the big beds and desks are definitely a big bonus. I wouldn't have wanted to live anywhere else for my dorm experience and would recommend it to anyone.
Good location and friendly staff
Wonderful place, great layout to easily meet new people and wonderful staff
Friendly reception staff, good sized rooms (ugly curtains) and I enjoy having an en-suite, but a bit pricey for what you get. The rooms are boiling in the summer, with no ventilation, but on the other hand, holds heat decently in the winter. The wireless is rather slow and alternates between regular speed and non existent. If you don’t jump on a parking space there’s almost nowhere in the surrounding area for you to safely park, but if you do get a space it’s a really safe place. Kitchen cupboards are tiny and you aren’t able to fit a dinner plate, never mind a pan. Hot water is scald your hand boiling, but it saves time when boiling the kettle. It’s a good place overall, it’s the people that make it.
College Court was a great little find, lovely staff and a lovely area. Internet can be a bit up and down but I've definitely had worse! Having an ensuite is great, and sharing with only 4 people sounds much better than going into halls
College court is great, it's in a good area where its easy to get to everything. The rooms and kitchen are great I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
Lovely staff, very friendly. Great rooms, cosy and homely
College Court has been a brilliant place to stay during my time at university. The location is brill as it’s 5-10 minutes away from the uni and also 10 minutes away from Hanley Centre, and over the road from Hanley park. It’s hard for me to fairly comment on the social spaces and experiences, as we’re in the middle of a pandemic and have been in lockdown throughout quite a bit of my stay here so have been unable to properly meet and socialise with others staying in college court, however the space is great for me and my flatmates, the staff are super helpful and the security is great. Only comment is that the internet drops sometimes, but this isn’t anything the staff at College Court can fix, it just happens sometimes.
Brilliant love it amazing great recommend
Students could possibly be given flatmates kn the same or similar course for better experiences and bonding, I study a science degree whilst my flatmates both study gaming so they’re always in their rooms.
a safe and reliable area! I’m able to have my car parked here and I feel safe that it’s within a gated area! super friendly staff too!
a safe and friendly place! all staff are absolutely lovely and so helpful! would 100% recommend this place to everyone!
The staff are friendly and the accommodation is fantastic
Amazing value for money, best I’ve seen out of all the accommodation and the 100mb Superfast wifi hasn’t been beaten from what I’ve seen. 100% would recommend and met a great bunch of mates.
Staff are so friendly and helpful, rooms are of a great size especially for people who like to game. Good for people who drive\has a car
Absolutely amazing, stopping for my whole three years of uni, cant fault it at all. Staffs are all lovely, and happy to help with anything :)
Staff are really friendly, social spaces are safe, 24 hour support is great!
brilliant location near shops, lovely staff, and very secure as college court is all gated
Very nice living space and very friendly staff
I’ve stayed in College Court for a year now and I’ve booked to stay here for my final year too. Last year I stayed in other student halls that were more expensive that I had a really bad experience with. This year, I’ve had such a lovely experience. The staff here are incredible. The rooms are big and have an en-suite. There’s a common room where you can relax with other residents and vending machines which are great for a late-night snack. The on-site laundrette is so much better than the one I had to use last year. Hanley Park is just over the road which is nice for picnics. The security here is great, making you feel at ease both day and night. I can’t wait to be back here in September for my final year. This is a lovely place to call home for the academic year and I recommend it to anyone, including my friends - who are also choosing now to spend their final year here with me!
Really helpful staff. Always happy to help.
College court had a very comfortable atmosphere for those who are experiencing their first time away from home. The rooms and kitchen areas are very spacious and very comfortable. The work space in the rooms are good quality for students who do a lot of computer or written work and you are able to fit quite a few monitors on it.
Love this place! Perfect location, sitting between Uni and city centre and close to railway station. Staff are amazing, always friendly and helpful.
College Court has been amazing the staff are really friendly and the facilities are great. Its good walking distance to the university and all of the shops.
The people (staff and residents alike) are amazing and I have enjoyed meeting everybody
Definitely the best place to live at. Feel really safe and the staff are so polite I really recommend moving here.
College court is amazing for students! Good location, great staff that are friendly and helpful, good security (keys and locks), good onsite facilities(e.g. laundry room and common room) and the rooms are spacious, with double beds and ensuite bathrooms.
Great location, near to uni and the Tesco, rooms are great size with nice double beds, own toilet and shower is big plus too.
Been here for 3 years, its a lovely place with some incredible staff, highly recommend it, great facilities, ideal location with a short walk to Hanley and Staffordshire University, plus with a huge park right on the doorstep.
Great service from the staff, best security compared to other halls
College court is pretty amazing for students, great security with the jobs and keys, all the staff are kind and whenever I had an issue it was solved instantly!
College Court is the most relaxed place to be and the safest I’ve felt. No one can enter someone else’s block, flat or room without the right key. My biggest concern at first was the internet, but ASK4 is pretty good for streaming or even torrenting, which they allow. 10MB/s download and 2-3MB/s upload. The management people are also really easy to talk to and most friendly. They’ll always help with literally anything. And I’m not worried about receiving packages at the reception. The heater in the room is also really powerful, and shuts itself off after 2 hours which is gonna be great during winter. It heats up the room really quickly too. The only downsides is the fact that the council wouldn’t give college court recycling bins, therefore not many people recycle as you have to go all the way to Sainsbury’s or the uni with your garbage if you truly want to recycle. As well as the fact that they use the Circuit company for the washing machines.
Honestly it's such a nice place to be. You're not too far from Tesco or the University. The staff are super friendly and are always a good laugh, even if it's some ungodly hour you're awake you can always go to reception an have a good chat. Last year I was often out late an so I was always talking to security for a few hours at a time. The flats are well maintained and even if you found an issue the staff are always quick to help. I've already lived here for a year, this being my second, and I can wholeheartedly say that I'm glad I've lived here. I've made a lot of friends at events they've hosted, you can get free tea an toast on weekends. It's just an all-round pleasant experience an I'd happily recommend it to anyone and everyone, especially those who might be worried about moving away from home for the first time. I promise you, the staff won't bite and they're lovely.
Super supportive staff. I feel safe in this accommodation because there is always staff here to help as well as security too. There is a communal area to have fun with friends and meet new people. The flats are clean, spacious and very well laid out. A lot of room in the bedrooms even with a double bed and tons of space to store items. Will recommend to anyone looking for a place to live for a great university experience!
Lovely rooms, staff always lovely and accommodating to most needs
Overall a really nice place to stay, nice staff and very welcoming environment. Shops only a 15 minute walk away, but in terms of surrounding College Court there is just a park. Not far from Staffordshire Univeristy, only around a 10-15 minute walk. Desks are massive so it’s really good for gaming students like myself. Night security and general security is good and it feels genuinely safe here. Common room is nice but isn’t used as much as I thought it would be to be honest. The rooms are a good size and so are the kitchens, and are very well kept for when you move in.
I love it here and I love the staff. Shaun is a very nice gentleman.
Best place ever I love it here so much that I stayed on for my second year
The value and everything you get for the price you are paying is more than enough compared to other accommodations nearby. It is located 10min walk from the university and is literally opposite a massive park where you can chill, exercise and such. The hall is highly maintained and constantly refurbishing such as the rooms, new TV in common room and such. The halls are also very clean. The common room allows people to socialise and gather together for movie/game nights. The internet is working perfectly fine, can’t say anything about it. Long story short, the accommodation is very worth it for the price you are paying.
In terms of rent, it is by far one of the cheapest and best value for money a student can ask for. The location is amazing, surrounded by a massive park with local shops in the area within walking distance. The university is a 10 minute walk from my room. They recently renovated the common room and installed a massive 65 inch TV, making it an enjoyable experience to meet and greet people. The internet speed is by far the best I've had since I've moved out of London
Glad I chose to stay here, for a little bit more money than on campus I’m really happy with everything and it’s definitely worth it. The rooms are great size, beds are comfy, kitchens are a great social space as is the common room. Everyone is really friendly and the walk to uni in the morning isn’t too bad.
College court is an excellent place to live while only costing a little more than the other staffordshire uni accomodation the facilities make it all the more worth while.
Staff are incredible, very friendly and helpful, accommodating every need. Rooms are the best I have seen for student accommodation, with double bed and en-suite, especially the large desk which is perfect for me as it fits double monitors. Its location is a brilliant plus as its less than a 5 min walk to my university campus (staffs). Another plus is the on site parking in the secure courtyard. Overall, this is the best and friendliest place to stay.
Incredibly friendly staff, who work hard to accommodate needs across the board, including early move in, need for a place to stay over summer, and an option to stay for all years of study. Rooms are spacious and ensuites are well above average for student digs. Internet is provided by Ask4 and across the board gives high speed and consistent WiFi for online gaming, MMORPG and works on most consoles and Alexa. Well managed and a range of social spaces, no more than 5 minutes from the majority of Staffs Stoke campus. overall, can't highly recommend enough - having come from living independently and by myself for 3+ years, this is the best, most secure and friendliest place to stay.
Initially I was torn between Clarice Cliff & College Court. I hadn't visited stoke until I started uni & the pictures on the website don't do the accommodations justice. However, I decided to go with college court & it's the best decision regarding my uni life that I had made. I feel like if I was anywhere else, I wouldn't have stuck through uni, due to my mental health. I wrote down what id require living here & all of my needs were comfortably met. The first year I met who is now one of my closest friends & we are in the same f!at togethrr, along with 2 other room mates who we all decided to live together. The rooms are more than an adequate size and have a homey feel (once you spruce it up a bit), along with a nice enough en sweet (I'll be honest the showers aren't the best, but collectively I can't complain). The kitchens are a nice communaL space with for the most part, enough storage for all residents. (Wish we had more fridge/freezer room, but we have enough for a few days)
When I went to look at college court I decided immediately it was "the one". Compared to all the university options college court is the cheapest by far and also the highest quality. Every student is provided with a fob which allows them to enter their block and also the enclosed premises - making the place very secure. There is excellent parking on site, extremely high speed reliable internet. The proximity to the city center is a mere 10 minute walk and a 5 minute walk from campus, even the train station is 10 minutes away. And to top things all off, every room is ensuite with a double bed! Want to book it? It was extremely easy for me. I phoned up, they asked me a few questions about my preference and it was as quick as 10 minutes until I had a room offer. I would definitely recommend this over other accomodations in the area
Best place to stay hands down! Great staff, great vibe - stayed there for all 3 years!
Nice area, friendly staff that are helpful.
The staff are great and really helpful, reception is open 24/7 so there is always somebody to help.the accommodation is fantastic large rooms with double beds and all ensuite. the Wi-Fi is great and easy to connect to. Reception sign for all of your parcels too so no nasty trips to the depots for missed delivery's.
