I think that Blenheim is one of the best ntu accommodations, especially for the price! the staff are absolutely brilliant and so quick to fix problems, we had an ongoing issue with our boiler being really loud and they tried everything they could until it was fixed. the kitchens are great and modern, the bedrooms could use a bit of an update but the mattresses are comfy and the storage is great, in the kitchens you get 2 cupboards each and a shelf each on the fridge and freezer. the hill can be a killer sometimes but its nice to have a quiet, yet very socialiable place to go to, its about a 12-15 min walk to the uni and a 15-20 walk back because of the hill, but I really don't think its a big enough reason to be put off coming here.

Blenheim Biography
Just 15 minutes walk from the City Campus, Blenheim’s unique crescent-shaped design and attractive grounds make it popular with students. There, you’ll have your own room in a flat with five others. The shared kitchen-dining room is spacious and well-equipped. It’s a great place to hang out with your flatmates, as is Blenheim’s lively common room. One of the best things about living at Blenheim is that all of the bedrooms are en suite – perfect if you don’t fancy sharing a bathroom.

Thank you for your positive feedback. We're very happy that you are enjoying your stay with us and hope we can welcome you back in the next academic year.
The halls os a fun social place. The flat gets cleaned once a week (excluding your room) and the en-suite is a must! The biggest downside is the location. It’s a 15 minute walk to uni but the way back is all uphill which is a killer. The area is also not as safe and I thought, and definitely not safe to walk back at night especially as a girl. Be prepared to get lots of night time Uber’s.
Way too expensive for the money but the cleaners are good
Not sure about the other reviews I just left (starting again next year) my kitchen was brand new and I mean like top of the line!!! My room was comfy it could do with new carpets. The common room is awesome for pre-drinks. The staff are truly amazing, any issues speak with them and they fix it like pretty much straight away (my wardrobe door broke and Jason the manager got the maintenance man Paul up within about 5 minutes). They do free events for us where we had food and competitions. Next year when I come back I will be booking Blenheim for sure!!
The hall is nice, rooms are decently sized with a nice ensuite, up a hill and about a 20 minute walk from the uni, which is fine if you don't mind the walk. The cleaners are noisy, but if you treat them well they will be nice back. There is a common room, however, it has a table, two sofas and a telly between 200 odd people... The hall management are terrible, I had a lot of mould all over the ceiling and silver fish in my room, hallways, kitchen and bathroom, nothing was done all year.
DO NOT LIVE HERE! Far away, dated, I had silverfish throughout the year that hasn’t been sorted, internet just cuts out and washers are expensive and don’t even work
Really enjoyed my time in Blenheim. The walk isn’t ideal in rain and ice but lovely through summer and can walk through the park to get to uni so it’s not all bad! Hall maintenance were quick to sort things if need be. MAKE USE OF THE COMMON ROOM FOR PREDRINKS. Hardly anyone used it but is this year which was great as cleanup was minimal and music could be hooked up to speakers.
Ridiculously strict with having the kitchen windows closed even when it was just me and one other flat mate in the kitchen talking. Also the area is very rough multiple times I've seen drunk people walking around in the middle of the day and once got threatened by an older man on the walk back from uni. Other than that the staff are all lovely and always make an effort to talk to us and with it being a small halls it's very easy to get to know everybody
Extremely expensive for very old and run down halls
good atmosphere, awful location and small rooms and kitchen. not enough table space for the whole flat to sit down together.
Value for Money - The kitchen facilities are not great, the rooms are nice but basic, the bathrooms are very good. Location - Up 2 big hills and also not the nicest areas either Hall Management - Had no hot water for over 4 days, reported it everyday and nothing was done. Report a broken hob on the oven and that still hasn't been fixed. Cleaning - even though the cleaners are quite noisy, they do a very good job and are very polite Common Room - decent size, good facilities, its a shame that more people do not use it Social Experience - like any halls, very sociable, it allows you to meet some great people
The halls could do with a bit of a makeover, expecially the kitchen. Ive seen a number of silverfish in the bathroom, bedroom (including my bed), and the kitchen. Told management about it and they say we just need to clean, which we constantly do. This has been a problem since October and nothing will be done as management says silverfish are not harmful.weve found them in our kitchen cupboards which id a hygiene problem. Halls are nicelu set out, 180 odd people, nice little community. Friendly atmosphere. No far from city, but the hill to the halls is steep. Pay 113 a week, which we feel is too much for the halls. Wed feeln 90/100 should be the maximum
Blenheim is situated about a mile up a hill from the city centre, definitely set apart from the uni. The kitchens are very basic (school chairs and desk are basically the kitchen table), and the security guard are your constant help if you need assistance but they don't do too much. Maintenance wise - any issue will be dealt with literally the next morning and it's always fixed! But don't expect any luxury.
