If you are arriving this weekend for the start of term, the parking is extremely challenging as it is still a building site. Only one or two cars can get onto the site at a time. Arrive early and do not rely on parking on Richardson Road - turn up before Friday if you can, but call reception first so they can sort your key out. Staff are all very helpful, with students volunteering for free to unload cars - please be nice, they are so overworked but extremely helpful, and they are volunteering! If you can't find the new postcode on satnav, just look for Richardson Road, right next to the hospital (Royal Victoria Infirmary) - the entrance is by the traffic lights, check on Google Street View so you know. 1,200 student arriving this weekend - seriously, get here early or on Thursday. We unpacked while waiting in the queue to get onto the site - and that was on Tuesday! Avoid Saturday if you can as it is a match day and the football ground is nearby. The rooms are great though - all new.

Park view is new, ensuite and in the thick of the uni
3 minute walk from lecture theatre, great space and wonderful view. A place im happy to call home.
This accommodation is new this year, but already we've had issues with dodgy ovens, There is nowhere near enough social space for the 1200 students who live here, but the communal spaces are kept clean.
The main complaint I have for Park View at the very moment is that it is besides a construction site. If you value your beauty sleep then this place is not for you (until the construction has stopped, obviously). The social experience is standard, 8 people to a room so there's good chance to find someone you like. However, the social aspect tends to be what you make of it. Nothing is going to force you to talk to people. The internet is fantastic, especially if you're a gamer. Rooms contain ethernet ports as well. There's one common room to 1000+ people, it's rarely fulled to the brim but it could've done with more space. The location is just under 10mins to the center of town.
Very nice halls, if you want to be near the uni, whilst be far enough away to not feel trapped by the campus. The rooms are of decent size and the kitchen area is quite spacious. However, as of next year the price will be increased from what I paid and as such can’t really say whether the value for mo way will remain.
