As a current resident of Hepworth lodge, I’ve had a truly wonderful experience that I am eager to share. This accommodation stands out not only for its prime location, conveniently close to Leeds Beckett University and essential grocery stores, but also for the comprehensive amenities and services it provides. The rooms are spacious and well-furnished, featuring large windows that bring in plenty of natural light, making them a perfect study and relaxation space. The inclusion of quality furniture like a study table, chair, ample storage, and a comfortable bed with a superior mattress enhances the living experience significantly. Shared facilities, like the kitchen, are spacious and equipped with modern appliances, not to mention the cleanliness maintained is commendable.

I enjoy staying at Hepworth Lodge
I'm really enjoying staying at Hepworth Lodge. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern with a fully functional ensuite bathroom, effective heating, and fashionable fixtures. The carpet is a nice touch that is sometimes missing in other accommodations. I really enjoy using the kitchen, there's lots of fridge and cupboard space. The building has adequate security, I always feel safe walking around, even at night. The staff are always helpful and try hard to keep up good communications and put on fun mini events. The only downside is that there really isn't much communal space bar a ping pong table and an outdoor courtyard, but for someone who regularly goes out and socialises elsewhere, it's not a problem. Leeds Beckett University, major supermarkets and amenities such as climbing centres and bowling alleys are all nicely within walking distance, between 10-20 minutes away. Hepworth Lodge is a great, cost-effective choice for an independent student!
Living at Hepworth so far I have really enjoyed it, I’m really happy with my room although I have faced some issues they have always been fixed by staff members. The only downside is I wish there was more social spaces because I feel like It could’ve helped me meet more people

A safe location with staff always on site to help. Cheaper than loads of other accommodations.
Great community, rooms big and clean and staff always around to help
Hepworth Lodge is a 10 minute walk from the city centre, and a 15 minute walk to uni off and Beckett campus, great location!
It alright, they occasionally hold events to make up for the minimal social spaces.
Hepworth Lodge has made my mental health deteriorate, Ive never felt worse. No communal areas, staff very rude and unhelpful. Had flatmates constantly on drugs and smoking in the flat and nothing was done. One tenant let random people in to the flat while he was gone for summer. Windows are filthy, meaning no light and disgusting views. Smell is disgusting, sick, weed and bins. It made me want to drop out of uni altogether just so I didn’t have to stay here. Made me and my flatmate feel like we were in a prison, depressed as soon as we returned. My parents are not happy with how my stay has been and didn’t feel comfortable sending me there with all the issues I’ve had. I know it has also sadly affected the mental health of others. I’ve never been more happy to leave somewhere instant relief as soon as I left. Would NOT recommend to any student.
Very good great staff very clean!

Construction is very loud and disruptive
Constant water outage and construction work taking over our space and waking us up early in the morning and preventing me from doing work
Really good place. Good facilities and good area. Close to the city centre.

Hepworth Lodge is in a great location, near the centre and all universities. Currently, there is construction going on at the Ibis next door, making weekday mornings loud, possibly putting some residents off for next year. The staff are lovely, especially Lily she is extremely helpful and welcoming.
Love living at hepworth lodge, all staff are welcoming and friendly and help with all issues, especially Maxine and Lily.

Mo from nights is fantastic always quick to resolve issues and very accommodating and polite. Hepworth sometimes is a bit smelly.
We love Mo from nights, always helps us with our problems and is quick to resolve issues and he’s very accommodating. Hepworth Lodge itself has not been a great stay.
Mo (night shift) is very nice to talk to and very helpful with the information about the accommodation! Very friendly guy!
Mo night shift is helpful and good
Maxine and Lily are the best! They are very kind and supportive. Maxine is also very good at cleaning. I like to chat with them when I am in the reception.
This place is great value for money and the staff are so welcoming and nice all fixed problems easily and quickly weather it be app problems washing getting back into your flat or for just a general chat housekeeper Maxine is absolutely lovely and is great to chat with about anything fixed many issues i had and was just nice company. Lily at reception was so nice and explained everything with ease and any question you had was answered was a great experience speaking and meeting the whole team and having free donuts and hot chocolate at xmas btw dont let Lily make it ahah, i loved everything its close to the city and up the short hill is a bus stop that takes u to headingley city centre and one round corner that can take you to aldi asda city centre and anywhere else great place be with great staff, Loved staying here. Big thanks to all staff.
All in all, I loved staying in Hepworth Lodge as I was really lucky with my flatmates who have become some of my closest friends. It’s quite a social accom compared to others but still much quieter than marsden house. The rooms and kitchen are lovely (would’ve loved a TV in the kitchen). However, the few bad things were that the bathrooms are tiny, especially the shower, which I struggled to get used to even after weeks of living there. All the staff are really lovely and friendly. Location is ideal only a 15 minute walk from the centre and also very close to lots of other accom so has a nice student feel. Also, the ibis hotel next door often has quite creepy men stood outside, I actually had no issues all year with them except the very occasional cat call but just something to be weary of, not to be put off though.
Ibis hotel has lots of weird men. 1 of which made their way into our block and was hiding on a corner then proceeded to hide under the stairs when we got security. So feel very safe now. Par that the accom is good, social, rooms are really nice, kitchen is big.
This accommodation is decent in a sense that you have a pretty spacious room with plenty of storage, your own wet room sized bathroom and a pretty nice kitchen. However a pretty recurring thing that has completely thrown me off is staff entering the flat whenever they like and without warning a lot of the time. I had a man let himself into my room whilst I was in bed to check on the smoke detector, which is a breach of my privacy but ok. Then the house keepers come at whatever time and wander around the flat then leave, and it seems at this point that it's every few days. There's no common room where you can go and chill somewhere else that isn't your own room which is really annoying. Post boxes and stuff are all in reception and not in each block which is annoying as well ( my friends accom has their post boxes in every block so it is doable) the lifts are all in a shambles with buttons broken off and missing. The ibis hotel has frequent creepy men pleasuring themselves inthe windows
I had a really good time at Hepworth. I think the rooms are perfect and I had a perfect amount of space. Reception is lovely and very helpful. Not much of a space to meet people though. Its noisy depending on how close you are to the courtyard. I personally had a wonderful time no issues and friends said the same!
When I first looked at liberty park I was sure I was getting a really nice place to live, the rooms constantly feel like a prison although ok spacing it feels less then homely, the bathroom is like a air plane bathroom with less then etiquette spacing for a shower (have fun cramping up just to fit under the shower). The common room I received was nice, it had an ok view of the motorway and industrial restaurants and casinos. The "handy-men" who work here are constantly friendly and always ready to help any concern, the staff women are sometimes friendly if the day is going right for them but if you have a complaint you'll be first to be blamed for it (the was a bug infestation and the women at the desk said that it was because our rooms weren't clean enough even though our rooms were spotless). Overall, the place is too expensive for what you get, (Im moving into a proper 5 bed room house and I'll be paying less then half the price I pay for Liberty).
I initially loved this accommodation, I had a pretty big room; the furniture was of pretty good quality as well. The bathroom is a on the small side, but it wasn't really a problem. I also happened to live on the ground floor and that really annoyed me because you could hear people going in and out all the time; it's not that bad usually, but it's horrible on the weekends when people come back 4 in the morning drunk and yelling the entire time whilst they're waiting for the elevator. The staff at liberty are really nice except for the ladies at the reception; they never know what's going on and they take forever to find you your package even though its probably one of the very few responsibilities they have. They also handled the flood situation really badly; I was told I received a call from reception about emptying the kitchen when I clearly didn't, and everything I owned was thrown out even though it wasn't damaged from the flood. It's also at a very inconvenient location.
not too bad i guess but a bit of a walk in the morning along with many flat parties so you will always meet new people overall not a bad place i guess
When I first came here, it seemed okay, I got the promise of a nice view over looking the river or the surrounding area, but what I did get was a view of windows! The rooms are dark and dinghy! The more I am here the more it feels like a prison I honestly cant wait to leave in a few weeks
