overall good accomodation however a lot of damaged things , events are a joke sometimes 5(eg: 5 packages of chips) for "food"

I think the accommodation needs to be cleaner, I think they should fix the trash shut on all floors so people aren’t carrying their rubbish in the lifts, the accommodation is in a great area

Great location and facilities. Lots of issues such as not having hot water regularly or a lot of the facilities and amenities not working even tho the staff has been told in many times it doesnt work.

Think carefully before booking your accommodation in Bridle Works. My room’s ceiling has been leaking water in different areas (over bed, close to the window, and over the bedside table) this semester. I’ve asked for maintenance at least three times. They did repair, but didn’t resolve the problem entirely every time. I know that they’ve probably tried their best to fix it, and the staff are kind, but then that means the leak is a problem remained from when the building was first built. Additionally, the building was built in 2021. It should be good since it’s so young, but unfortunately, it’s NOT.

Living in Bridle Works is quite a comfortable experience! I only spend 3 minutes to get the nearest subway station.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! This company have done a great job at false advertising EVERYTHING. A year later there is still construction being carried out, floods with sewage in flats and the reception, a terrible staff team, I could go on and on. But if you care about your well being don’t stay at this accommodation.

Construction on the building still has not been completed. it has been almost a year and construction has continued with students in residence. The onsite management team are not support by off-site management and complaints are not resolved. The city Council and student unions have been involved attempting to address the poor management response of the building at the start of the academic year. I have still not received a resolution to a considerable complaint I made over four months ago. Construction work was not communicated to be before tenancy. The building remains a construction site with contractors frequently onside without warning to residents. I actively discourage other students from taking up residency in this accommodation. The unprofessionalism with which complaints and residents have been met is unprecedented and reflects their poor business practices. None of the previously mentioned issues have been resolved and construction has not been completed as of 24 June 2022.

Moved in back in September and its been a great experience. As an older postgrad student, Bridle Works has been the perfect place to be based during my stay in Glasgow. The staff are definitely the best aspect of living here as they're super friendly and don't hesitate to go above and beyond whenever they can. Lucy, the leasing manager, is super helpful and facilitated a smooth move-in.

Worst place I’ve ever lived in. Making us pay all money but living inside building site. Nothing is built nothing is safe. An accident waiting to happen. Worst place I’ve ever lived in. If you want to get scammed come and live here

Unfortunately, we did experience a delay on completion of the building due to a three-month construction shut down caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. As soon as we were made aware that move ins were to be delayed we communicated this to our residents, and worked hard to put measures in place to accommodate and support our students during this time. We have tried to minimise impact on our residents as much as possible and sincerely apologise if you believe that this was not achieved. The gym, ground floor lounge area, and level 20 amenities, including our private dining area and games area, are in operation, however, we recognise that this is not ideal, and that as a resident you want to have access to all amenities from the start of your contract date. We have contained those areas that are still yet to be completed, and can assure you that we are working extremely closely with our contractors to close these out in the coming weeks. We are extremely disappointed to hear the concerns you have raised and take these very seriously. We would please ask that you contact the property manager of the building, so that we can have the opportunity to discuss and resolve any concerns you may be having. Could not be more of a nightmare. The building is not built. There is indoor and outdoor construction. The fire alarm has gone off over 30 times in the 3 weeks I've been here, sometimes as often as five times in one day, and often in the middle of the night. Staff are completely unequipped to handle this. None of the common spaces are built. The vast majority of the tenants feel we were scammed and defrauded by the building.
