as a distance learning institution we don’t have student accomodation
Location is the only good thing if you're on Parkgate campus. Internet is awful and you can only get phone signal is certain spots. Rooms are all different sizes but everyone pays the same, kitchen on first floor is tiny and its apparently for 10 students, again on first floor the roof leaks when it rains. We've had issues with the shower with no hot water for a week. Common room is dirty and dark and is no maintained well. Very basic rooms but is not looked after by the university.
My room was far smaller than everyone else but was still paying the same price. Too pricey and had many problems with silver fish. I wouldn’t complain as much if I was paying £80-89 not £104
Internet cuts out, cleaners don't do much, place is a s******* and dirty and was like this when I moved in, rooms are all different yet we all pay the same, some have bigger rooms and baths with proper shower while the rest have prison like showers where we can't even change the temperature and it's a pain to shave as water is never hot enough
Really social hall, fantastic cleaner but go do with some refurbishment of common room and a lick of paint in some areas. Location is fantastic, between university main campus and town. Wifi is great in the majority of areas.
