Rooms:

Staff are always chatty, and quick to resolve any issues. Location is great. Perhaps more social events throughout the year would be better for integrating students new to the city. Vending machine keeps breaking which isn’t ideal.

I've had a very lovely stay here, the staff here have been very friendly and the events have been fun.

I had a really good time here. All of the staff are so nice and kind, and the environment is tremendous!
Would strongly advise against living here. A staff member was very rude to me and even called the police on me after I tried to have 5 of my friends over (who were not causing a fuss). Apparently it’s on the contract that you are only allowed to have 3 guests over with 24 hours of prior notice which is utter nonsense and certainly not on my contract or advised anywhere. He actually refused to look at and read my contract prior to calling the police. I spoke to canvas head office the next day who apologised and are investigating the incident.
Thank you for taking the time to review Canvas Bristol and we're sorry to hear that you've had a bad experience. We take any reports of staff rudeness very seriously, please do contact us if this matter has not been resolved.
