My experience at the University of Surrey has been a mixture...
My experience at the University of Surrey has been a mixture of positive academic opportunities and disappointing administrative experiences. As an international postgraduate student, I made a significant financial and personal commitment to pursue my MSc in Pharmaceutical Science. While I appreciate the academic opportunities and multicultural environment, I feel that student support, communication and administration need considerable improvement. Dealing with examination results, academic appeals, resit arrangements and unclear completion dates has been particularly stressful. International students deserve timely responses, transparency and proper guidance, especially when academic decisions can directly affect their future careers and visa status. Overall, I believe the university has potential, but it needs to place greater emphasis on student welfare, effective communication and supporting students when they face difficulties.
