Thank you for your positive review of the University of Huddersfield. We are happy that you have rated us so highly in most factors, especially five stars for our Students’ Union. Although you have rated our campus and facilities slightly lower, we’ve spent £198m on major campus investments since 2015, and have fantastic facilities including specialist laboratories, studios and performance spaces, a library, green spaces, places to eat, and a gym! We opened the new Daphne Steele Building last year as part of our new National Health Innovation Campus, and are planning to open the Emily Siddon Building by the end of this year!
Had a good first two years of study here, just a shame the course was cut in the final year as it lowered the teaching quality and experience.

Although we always try and run all of the courses we offer, we may occasionally have to withdraw a course or combine a programme if we consider this reasonably necessary to ensure a good student experience. The University has been a place of learning for me. First academically ,bringing ne to speed with all I needed to learn as a student nurse. Helping me to appreciate being an African in the multicultural space. A place to feel safe being a Christian and able to share my faith. A place of friendship while learning and growing. My experience has been superb.

Amazing experience so far at University of Huddersfield. When I arrived in here, the I-point staff was so friendly which helped me with all the queries I had and finished my enrolment within few minutes. Also The labs are really amazing, as they have all the high tech latest equipment and machines which I can access and work on and all of these labs were introduced to me by the really friendly faculties. I haven't explored the careers services but looking forward to it. Although I made lots of friends during classes and sport sessions (while playing football specifically) with similar interests. Overall, it was such a great experience so far, I had no inconvenience in here and it was all so positive.

I’ve really enjoyed my time at the University of Huddersfield so far. The campus is modern, well-kept, and easy to navigate. The facilities are great – especially the library and the quiet study zones, which are a lifesaver during exam season. Lecturers are generally supportive and passionate about their subjects. I’ve found most of them approachable and willing to help if you’re struggling, though of course that can vary by department. I am studying nursing, and the course content is well-structured, with a good balance of theory and practical learning. Huddersfield as a town is pretty affordable compared to other student cities, and everything you need is within walking distance. Nightlife is decent if you know where to go, and there are plenty of chill spots to hang out with friends. Overall, a solid uni with a lot to offer – especially for the price. Would definitely recommend it to students looking for a friendly campus with good support and facilities!

Huddersfield is a very affordable town to live in as a student, with a low cost of living. In fact, it’s the second cheapest in the UK for student rent!

The school is situated in a good environment. The campus is nice and inspiring. Sometimes it is hard to locate lecture rooms and kind people that know where will show you .It is an encouraging environment. I have thrived here despite challenges. I have made good friends.My practical sesions have been quite interesting.The teaching methods are ok.
