Rooms are spacious and pleasant, kitchen can become very grim when used frequently and rather small for 11 people.

Sharing 2 tiny pastries with 22 people can be difficult so social stuff. Very conveniently placed, middle of Hub, SU, Sports hall, short walk to founders

Made it super easy to make friends! Kitchens are cleaned Monday to Friday, all rooms are ensuites and it's super cheap! Even people who stayed in Butler and Tuke etc said they would rather stay in Reid cos it's the same but cheaper, catered (but still a microwave) and there's more people so it's more social!

Probably the best hall to get involved in socially, everyone's really friendly and if you fully throw yourself in you'll have an amazing time with sport, socials, charity fundraising and volunteering.

I absolutely loved my time in Reid! I was with amazing people the entire time through and we all adored our time there with each other!

Catered is pretty awful tbh, have to eat within certain timeslots and only get 50% discount, would rather have paid more for self-catered

So much fun but those living next to the kitchen areas will be sleep deprived for their year!

Perfect location on campus, en-suite and cheap!

Generally poor, small kitchen space and cold, clinical feel means that I cannot recommend this hall to potential future residents.

It's a really social hall because most of us share the kitchen and we all get to know each other really easily!

Very close to everything on campus, the furthest lecture theatres and dining hall only being a ten minute walk away. Good social experience and made lots of friends due to the set up of the block. Only shortfall was the two small kitchens not being a big enough social space for 21 people and the lack of fridge space and cooker, but I guess that is made up for with the discount that you get in the dining halls. Perhaps not as nice an experience as staying in the nicer, more modern self-catered halls but worth it for the price.

The best choice for students in Royal Holloway. It has the perfect location and it is so convenient living there.

Great place to live. Had a good number of people to make friends with. Shame there was no social space other than the small kitchens.

Crammed, hot and was far away from everything, this year should be better, as the campus store has changed location.

In my experience Reid was really boring and quiet and i felt it was harder to make friends with the people I was living with

good for making friends because there were a lot of people in your block at Reid, however, no ovens meant you had to eat at founders or the hub, not an issue unless it was raining!

Great social atmosphere in the heart of the accommodation side of campus and very conveniently positioned in the middle of the department buildings, dining halls and Egham (especially via the back gate shortcut). A great catered hall!

not social at all, two small kitchens for 24 quite hard to share space & meet everyone

Just what you'd expect for the price. Not flashy, but not missing anything, except an oven and a freezer, but the discounted food makes up for it.

worst hall ever - yellow water, broken heating not to mention it being ridiculously over priced. Avoid!!

The hall as a great location, however the cleaning is really bad and their is some issues with the heating and the water of the building ( it is either really really hot or icy!) Their should be another fridge in the kitchen as two fridges for 25 people is not in off. Also even if we do not pay for a self catered kitchen we should be able to bring our own stuff to cook like an electric hob and not be penalized for it ( as it is impossible to eat a the hub or founders everyday given the taste of food and the price and honestly, it is hard to cook only with a microwave. ) Thank you and I hope it will help next resident of the hall
