Not a particularly brilliant college. As the youngest one (built in 2014) it unfortunately has next to no college spirit. The main social space (The Forum) is NEVER used by anyone.
Cleaners are pointless. We end up doing most of the work and cleaning ourselves. When they do come they're usually noisy at around 8am.
Socially, the college is quiet. For about 3/4 of the year, there is no buzz in the college whatsoever. You can rarely hear a party or any socials around or see any lights on so the whole place feels abandoned. A plus is the Glasshouse bar (in Langwith, the college next door), however it's vary rare that people can be bothered to go, even if its only 100m away.
In general, the whole of Hes East is a pretty poor location. There is no shop, not many social areas and it's generally a bit barren. It is still under development so in maybe a decade it'll be decent, but for now, avoid it. On the plus side, the accommodation itself is beautiful.
