Read Wantage Hall Reviews
Wantage Halls was expensive and extortionate. When damage was caused by other students, I ended up paying for the repairs. The heating failed in January, black mold existed on the wall when I arrived which the Uni tried to charge me for. Worst of all, the hall was home to most agriculture students.
Very sociable halls, easy to make your way around. Also the fact there is a bar two min walk away from my room means a nice place to hang out and drink. Kitchen was also modern which is surprising given the fact Wantage is an older halls.
I really love staying in Wantage but I'm not sure if I love it because it's such a great hall or because of the people in it. The wifi is super fast and we do have 'Eat At Wantage' and it's a very old building so it has lots of history in it BUT, it's quite a walk from Wantage to School or to Union and the Common room is... almost always empty. The rooms in Old Court are big so you get to be creative but the ones in New Court are quite small and kind of remind me of a walk in closet.
