It is a really modern and well kept student halls, with spacious rooms. The location of the halls is ideal for students, as it is located next to park bar. Reception, laundry and centre of campus are all very close to the halls.

Great accommodation. Lost Internet a few times but would be back up by the next morning.
Clean modern accommodation with very large rooms and lots of storage space. Limited social areas however.

the rooms are lovely and the flat gets cleaned regularly yet it is very expensive for what it is. the kitchens having no sofas made it uncomfortable to socialise with your flatmates and it didn't have that homely feel
Stenton offered great value for money, nice facilities and good location, but I did not enjoy living in my flat due to the loudness, the people and the lack of sofas/comfortable common areas.
Best location with the best ensuite rooms!
Internet: amazing (im a gamer) Social life: depends on your flat mates Social places: next to park bar (the standard uni bar) Security: they are harsh and exceptionally mean Rooms: very nice although u have less floor space with double bed rooms Cleaning: they clean kitchens every week and toilets as well for townhouses Location: 7 min walk to the middle of campus Noise: walls and windows pretty sound proof
Nice having an en-suite but over priced
Loved Stenton halls! The social life was great - the rooms were modern and had en-suites
I lived in a shared house in first year, not Peter Taylor, but it's the only one that came up. that they've stopped letting out to students as it was so bad. Didn't have a full sized bed so my feet were hanging off. Housemates smoked weed all the time. Very dingy, not a nice experience
I have thouroughly enjoyed these halls, particularly because the facilities are brand new and well kept!
Great location on campus, fantastic sized rooms and bathrooms, internet is great the majority of the time, only downfall is the kitchen in the flat is the only place you can socialise and it isn't the coziest of places, other than that it is maintained well and the people are even better.
The location is very good as it is close to everything
its fun but we need a big common area for all students to bond, bigger freezer
Would highly recommend this hall as it's definitely one of the most social at Reading with the facilities being absolutely amazing.
Stenton is really good. It's close to everywhere, and the rooms are quite good.
Fun times is very fun times over here
Great location, situated on campus with less than 5 minutes walk to the main hub. Has a laundrette, bar and post room within less than a minutes walk.
Expensive but lovely and clean and everything works. Perfect location, near park bar but also campus central.. no common room but isn't a problem we have kitchens
Great spacious halls that have been kept right up to date.
The hall is very lovely and modern; only built 2 years ago. The value is alright but not the best.
Overall the Stenton Hall is very good for its bathrooms and it's kitchen. The only qualm I have with the halls is that there is no common room for the flat to relax in. Relaxing in the kitchen can be quite uncomfortable after a while and we had to bring a couch to make it more enjoyable.
Room was nice although the shower was a bit too small and the mattress was pretty bad and uncomfortable. The kitchen was nice although the cupboards were a bit rubbish and the fridge/freezers were too small for 8 people and the fact that there was only one oven meant that it restricted when you could cook.
Not a good hall to meet people in there is nowhere to hang out in your flat and it is too expensive
Very clean and modern hall, although is fairly pricey due to the proximity to London. Overall this was great accommodation.
Nice location - central of campus. Cleaners weren't the most friendly.
Amazing location, amazing room & kitchen, really expensive but almost worth it for the ensuite & really good hob.
really good hall great place to meet people and socialise at the bar
Living in Stenton the last year has truly been a wonderful experience, I've met many people and felt so comfortable in my flat with a lovely sized room for myself and a close knit group of people to chill out in Park Bar with for example.
Not having wifi in halls was really annoying and the yearly price has gone up ~£500 despite no obvious improvements!
Too expensive for what it is, rules so strict you can't do anything. Cleaning extremely poor.. do more as a flat than the cleaners do.
stenton is a decent hall in a decent location, plenty of people around to meet, however it is expensive and I have found management/ cleaning slightly utilitarian at times
