I’ve really enjoyed my time in Stenton and belive it is great value for money while being in a great location near to campus. I’ve been particularly impressed by the security and maintenance staff who are friendly and quick to sort problems. To improve I think the halls need to look into adding more communal spaces in/around flats as sometimes feel they are isolated. read more

We appreciate your feedback regarding the need for more social spaces. All of our halls are equipped with JCRs and common rooms, providing plenty of spaces for socializing beyond individual flats. Additionally, our Home@Halls team regularly hosts events in these communal areas to help bring students together and create a vibrant community.

I have found my time in halls to be good, however I have struggled to make friends that doesn’t include just drinking for the most part. The social activities that park bar on I think are good. However it would be nice to have benches for sitting outside the accommodation and around the lake would be a nice addition. read more

Stenton was a very social place to live! The kitchens were fairly clean, done by a cleaner each week, this was also our social space. Felt a bit expensive for what it was though. read more

About Stenton Hall
Stenton Hall is ideally located on the Whiteknights campus, giving students extra sleep time. The accommodation is surrounded by inviting grounds and is a stone’s throw from various academic buildings.
After a long day of lectures, residents can relax and cook up a storm in the shared kitchen/dining area. To ensure a convenient stay there is high-speed Wi-Fi as well as utility bills and basic contents insurance included. Situated near the Park Group social hub, residents have easy access to laundry facilities, a bike shed and post boxes.
Stenton Hall provides students with comfortable en-suite rooms that come fitted with all the necessities. Inside each room, there is a small double bed, study area, storage space and private bathroom.
