Ideally located on the University of Central Lancashire campus, living at Foundry Court means you really can’t get any closer to the university! It is also nearby Preston city centre and close to excellent transport links.
The accommodation offers handy extra features such as on-site laundry facilities, secure bike storage and car parking at an additional cost. Students can also have peace of mind with 24-hour security, CCTV, onsite maintenance and a key fob entry system. When it comes time to relax after a long day, you can make use of the communal lounge, games room, communal TV, table football and pool table. For added convenience, there are two study rooms, WiFi, a vending machine and all-inclusive bills.
At Foundry Court they offer premium ensuite rooms in shared flats, so you can really enjoy communal living with flatmates. The flats share a fully equipped kitchen and living space. I’ve chosen Foundry as the place to stay since I lived here in second year and it’s gotten better since then. They’ve done work on their social spaces so that it’s a good place to relax with friends or to even study with flatmates in the study spaces.

A preferable student accommodation for UK & international students as it is very close to the university & general stores for food/grocery. The staff is fantastic and helpfull, all the amenities offered are great thus making it a great value for money and preferred accommodation for students.

Staff are always really helpful and any maintenance issues are resolved asap. Good location with a good-priced car park opposite. Kitchens are well equipped. The standard rooms are what you pay for, they do the job and you can make it your own!

I stayed at Foundry Court for a year and really enjoyed it. The staff were always very welcoming and helpful, any maintenance issues got resolved quickly and there are nice social spaces to use as well! Plus I was surprised by how good the WiFi connection was in the flat

Very friendly and helpful staff at all times, great level of support for students, location is very near to campus. Train station is also just 20 minutes maximum from this location. Very convinient place to live and would highly reccommend :)

I've stayed at foundry for my first and second year, and have just rebooked for my final year :) The flats are a really nice size and have an awesome desk, and the price is one of the most affordable in the area. They also have many little events at reception including ice cream and chocolate fountains which I always love to see :D Plus, this year study rooms have been added outside reception and the common room has had a gorgeous revamp!

I moved to foundry court for my first year and couldn’t be more impressed, love the fact it’s a double bed and ensuite for only 90 pounds a week, decent living spaces, nice new renovated common room and study areas and the staff are all wonderful, all maintenance requests I’ve had have been sorted in under 48 hours, when I had to move rooms I had the keys within 2 hours of my request, the only thing I would like is possibly more social events and there’s sometimes issues with not having as many washing machines as I’d like for the buildings capacity, but for 90/week it’s amazing value for money, the internet is pretty reliable too, sometimes has its off days but way better than I’d expected hearing other people talk about wifi in their accommodation, can’t really get parcels on the weekend but other than the very few downsides I’ve mentioned it’s a fantastic place to live and would recommend it to any new starting students or someone wanting a new place to live for the year

I lived in Foundry Court for my final two years and I wished I found it sooner. You won’t find a more dedicated and caring team of staff who want you to get the best possible experience in student accommodation. The on-site team are always friendly, welcoming and willing to assist you in any way. The common room is a place where you can relax, play games, watch tv and also where social events are held, as well as this the daily freebies as you pass through reception are also an added bonus. The rooms are spacious, well heated and the beds are comfortable and easily fit two people. The en-suite bathrooms are also very good, the showers are powerful! If you’re looking for a student accommodation that cares about you and your time at university, look no further than Foundry Court. (I already miss it dearly)

Foundry Court is a really great place to live if you’re going to attend UCLAN. It’s close to the university and the accommodation itself is really great. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful and the rooms are a really great size with en-suites. Highly recommend.

This is a great place with great security that comes every midnight so i can feel safe, as well as being gated and inaccessible without a fob, The staff is also friendly and the flat is absolutely amazing! And clean.

Where do I start, Foundry Court has been absolutely amazing. The staff has been so supportive throughout the course of my 3 year stay. The rooms are clean and cozy and are spacious. I've been here throughout the covid pandemic and the staff has handled this difficult situation extremely well. The property location is just a short 2 minute walk from campus. The facilities are fab from social spaces, to top notch WiFi. So if your looking for more than just a room to sleep and study in, look no further than foundry Court.

Amazing accommodation with super friendly staff. I have already rebooked for next year and I plan to come back for my 4th year. Any maintenance problems have been fixed within a very short amount of time (10-50 minutes). Can’t wait to spend another year with Homes for Students and Foundry Court!

My experience with Foundry Court was really good this year! The staff are very helpful and friendly. After every inconvenience I’ve had the staff sorted it out immediately. I also find it very safe as it is gated. Overall my experience was really good and I really recommend it!

I don't know why my previous review was flagged, but this place is a good place to live, It's close to the Uni and in walking distance to the town centre. Social areas are cleaned regularly and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Homes for students have dealt with Covid-19 horrifically. This doesn't help the fact that Foundry Court is one of the worst student accommodations I have stayed at. Mice in the rooms and kitchen, never enough hot water, constant maintenance issues, leaks in the kitchen windows, poor communication, lack of care of financial situations and a terrible postage system. Do NOT book with HFS and do NOT stay at Foundry. Plenty of other student accommodations in Preston which are better and cheaper.
I have lived here for the past year and I am continuing my stay here for the next academic year as well. Really friendly staff who help resolve issues as soon as possible.

As a first year university student, moving out for the first time seemed pretty daunting. But thanks to the team at Foundry Court the process was made really easy. The rooms are very comfortable and the kitchens include lots of space to store food. Overall had a great experience staying here.
Foundry Court is an amazing place to stay. Friendly staff, social spaces, free WiFi and more. There’s also an amazing maintenance team who will fix your problems with speed and precision.
It is clean and near university. It is not noisy and hall management is very nice.

This is a very bad accommodation no hot water all the time at least 3-4 days a week

Foundry Court is an amazing place to live, all the staff are really nice and friendly and overall it's really good value for money, especially compared to uclan owned accommodation. The social aspects of Foundry court are also really good, everyone here is really nice and you get a real sense of community from being here.

Place is a hidden gem in preston , you get way more for what you pay , by far the best halls I've been in by miles, and I've been in a few. Maintenance are always on top of any requests you put in most of it done in a day or two and sometimes on the same day!! . Management and admin staff are super friendly and will do everything they can to make you feel like you comfortable and enjoy your time. Security is always around so no issues if you get locked out or if you burnt your toast by accident and accidentally waking up your block at 3am Oooppss :). I absolutely recommend this place hand on heart you won't find a better deal for halls in Preston. Will definitely miss everyone when I eventually have to leave although I'm sure they will be glad that I have left
