Avoid if you can. This property does not live up to the marketing. The building is poorly maintained. The heating system broke down for one week in December 22 and two consecutive weeks in January 23. This doesn't meet the national standard that is supposed to regulate student accommodation, but Collegiate have failed to respond to official complaints about it. Steer clear!
I would NOT recommend Clarendon Street, it's definitely not worth the money. Only benefit is the location to NTU. Late April 2023 and the lifts have been broken for nearly 3 months, Not fun when you live on the top floor!! Heating/Hot water was off for 2 plus weeks during winter, fire alarms go off at random intervals, communal spaces are a joke, laundry facilities are very poor, on-site staff almost never available, rats have their own accommodation in the bin store! emails/calls/messages go unanswered. SO bad I'm not staying for my final term, but likely will still have to pay. I would not chose this accommodation again!
I wouldn’t recommend this accommodation to anyone has many disadvantages but there are some advantages also

Best location - 2 mins walking distance to city centre and NTU. Ashley has always been a great help when moving in and out and is always happy to help. The rooms are amazing in terms of storage however the bathrooms are too small. Very clean and well kept.

Nice location with 2 mins walking distance to city center. Ashley has always helped whenever I needed any help and is always available. The rooms are great in terms of storage capacity. I just wosh that bathrooms were big. Apart from that everything else is great.

Just living here for few months but things keep breaking down. They need 2 month for fixing the lift. The heating and internet broke down, also the washing machine sometimes. No social room event, smelly hall way.

Ashley (reception) and Mike (maintenance) are great guys and eager to help in any way they can. Settling in was very easy, staff are always on hand, even overnight security which other buildings lack. Gym is good enough, study area is convenient and quiet. Room prices are certainly too high, but if you can afford it, Clarendon Street is a great place to be.

This accommodation is centrally located in the heart of the city, and makes it very easy to have access to public transports, universities, shops, cafes and restaurants. The building has nice and spacious studios, with various essential items provided, all-inclusive bills and very good room services you will have peace of mind. Inside the building study and social areas, gym facilities, and special events helps to socialise and find new friends. There are also friendly and supportive staff that are always ready to listen and help you with different issues. I have been enjoying my stay with clarendon street for four years, and I highly recommend this place.

Overall my experience at this accommodation was great. Staffs are extremely friendly and welcoming. Although, meeting people at first was hard because of the less population we got this year but when I finally did- i had a great time :)

Collegiate is an excellent accommodation made better by the friendly staff that make you feel at home. Fernando would always be able to make me laugh. I never had any issues that the team couldnt resolve quickly to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. Sam, Dorota and the rest of the team do an excellent job at making everyone feel looked after. Thanks to Sam, Dorota, Fernando, Paul, John, Joanna, and the rest of the team for going above and beyond to make everyones stay here feel like home. Highly reccomend!

I've lived in the building for two years and I could honestly say that I'm so glad that I managed to do so. I love he space because of there isn't any random distracting parties, good social places, somewhat small but it didn't detach from the appeal and it's 5 min from NTU. I think what made the Building even better is how nice the staff are here! They've definitely made my stay here the most memorable in England!

The accommodation is great, the rooms are spacious with kitchen and bathroom space being sufficient, staff are friendly and overall living conditions are great and they also clean the room every alternate week so that's a plus.

The accomodation has excellent staff that work around the building. 24 hour security that patrols the building all night. The rooms are nice and have most appliances you need in them. The location is great and safe as it's close to the city center and takes less than 3 minutes to get there. The WiFi however isn't so great since they changed it from Virgin. The review of the social spaces is done during the Covid times as most have been shut it's difficult to evaluate.

The Managers are very friendly. One of the best accommodation for student. Gym area could have been bigger it is very small as expected.

The accommodation is very decent the furniture is quite old, but the staff is helpful. The internet is very fast but not stable, annoying for gaming. The place is very quite and they provide housekeeping services.

This accommodation and the staff are the reason why I loved studying abroad for all these years. Feels like a second home with everything a student needs in terms of facilities, support and security. The centre manager, Sam is so loving, informative and supportive. The assistant manager Dorota is very kind and helpful as well. Whatever maintenance issues I have are always solved immediately by John! The security staff are all so kind-hearted and they all care so much about students' mental health! The girls that do regular housekeeping are so sweet! The location of the accommodation is a bonus as well! Highly recommended and if I have to choose an accommodation for post-graduate studies I would choose this place again for sure!
