The property is worth the money, very spacious and close to my uni. Simran at the help desk is very friendly and always there to help me out with whatever doubts I have.

The Hello Student management team does well to ensure the students staying at the accommodation here at St Mark’s Court are taken care of and their issues or demands are looked into promptly. Simran Kaur from the management team of Hello Student is a very kind and considerate member of staff who goes the extra mile to make the students living here feel heard and are at ease at all times. Ollie and Fay have done well to create a friendly environment. The residence is quiet, calm and comfortable, with a bus stop and a lot of convenience stores around the corner. I appreciate all the help the management provides us with here at St Mark’s Court, to make our stay the best it can possibly be.

When I first checked in, I was greeted by Simran. She was very patient because my English was not very good. She introduced me to the different facilities and functions of the room. She also taught me how to use the apartment software. To be honest, I am very satisfied with her work attitude! I think I will have a great year here!

The staff here are so welcoming and friendly. The main reason I chose to move into St marks court is because I spoke to Simran on the phone while I was looking for accommodation and she answered all of my questions and concerns about moving to a big city and helped me decide what room was the best for me. If it was not for her I would have struggled to find accommodation and most likely would not be staying here. Since being here I have got to meet other members of staff as well and everyone has been so helpful and welcoming.

Lift broken down on the final 2 check-out days, no one helped me. Tbf the lift needs to be replaced, I was once stuck for 30 mins because the buttons were unresponsive. Heard similar stories from others. Lift was broken for almost a month at some point. Ventilation is rly poor in the room, people kept triggering the fire alarm. I never did, but it’s hard for smoke to leave the room. Even if you’re just frying a steak, the smoke stays for 30 mins. Worst thing is the management who threaten to charge you £100 if you ever trigger a false alarm (wtf?). Had bad anxiety for some time because the smoke can get really bad when you cook. Management came in few times without a 24 hour notice. Really hot in the summer. I had spider webs in my flat and saw at least 10 spiders in the duration of my stay. Countless bees and flies. Wifi is really slow, had to use my mobile data for most of the time. Room is spacious tho Receptionists are nice people, management is horrible.

Love my room and the social space! Really good location and close to the shops especially Chinese shops! Simran is especially friendly, welcoming and charismatic with me and other students- can't wait to stay here next year as well!

the staff are all really friendly and resolve issues quickly. it’s in a great location close to my university and quite a few shops. the rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the social spaces are well cared for and great to spend time in. simran was a great help as we were checking in, and was a positive, charasmatic presence the whole time

The building is poorly maintained. The reception is hardly open when it's supposed to be. Little to no notice is given to residents about issues such as lack of hot water or WiFi being down. Place could be much better for the amount we pay in rent.
Hi there, we're sorry that your time with is wasn't all you expected! We always strive to be better at informing students of potential outages or maintenence issues that we know of beforehand. Your reception team should be reachable during your stay and improvements are always being made to the volume of staff we can have on-site ready for students' questions or issues.
The studios are good and spacious. If there is a problem, they are not able to solve it quickly.And there is also the issue of rats and insects in summers. Money wise it is good. Overall experience is good and can be considered.
Many residents have seen mice in their rooms. It took a really long time for pest control to be called, and there seems to be no clear solution to the problem. Mice have been eating food around rooms since the holes in the walls are not filled up. Residents are just expected to live with mice and wait until a better solution can be found.
Awful. Not worth the money, there are not enough reviews of this place so I did not know much about the issues before I started living there. I do not know where to start, the fittings and everything in this place is OLD and not maintained well, you will find rodents and pests everywhere, Day 2 of living here and a bunch of silver fish everywhere near the bathroom. Also noticed a lot of them in the stairways outside. The management doesn't do anything as it isn't 'serious' enough. It doesn't stop there, multiple students have seen mice in their rooms but they are hesistant to call pest control. They are always 'not sure' about when pest control will arrive. Avoid at all costs. I hope this review is not deleted by the managament staff again.
The accommodation is quite close to my University. It is clean and comfortable. The staff is very helpful. The rooms are spacious and have all the basic requirements.
There is minimal social interaction between flatmates as its studio accomodations. Experience has been great for the price. Ideal location. Safe area, friendly staff
St Marks Court is a great place to live! The location is central to Leeds Uni and only a short walk to the city centre, with parking available at the accommodation if you need it. The rooms are spacious and come with everything you need! It would be nice to have a communal area to get together with other students in the building but despite this I've been happy with my stay here. The staff are really helpful and friendly and the building is always kept clean. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a place to live while studying in Leeds :)
