Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

The rooms are very comfortable, so much love the room it my personal space. The environment is good, but in terms of social life is dead. And speed at things get fixed when you log a complaint is so insane, like it makes feel special lol.

My accommodation is in a fantastic location, offering both convenience and accessibility. It's just a short walk from Central Six Shopping Centre, with Aldi, Iceland, and Poundland nearby, making grocery shopping and everyday essentials incredibly easy to access. Being close to the city centre means I have quick access to restaurants, cafes, and entertainment options, while my university is only a 20-minute journey away, ensuring a smooth and manageable commute. I have largely been very comfortable in the accommodation. There is a slight lack of storage on the kitchen in the studios and the shower is on the small side but otherwise a very good place to live.

Good location and spacious kitchen are advantages. But the building is too old, have zero sound-proof effect, very noisy. You basically can hear every sound from your next door, upstairs, etc. Also, there's no common space (gym, study room) like other student accommodation.

Solid accommodation, reasonably priced, staff are super super friendly! location is great, literally 5-6 food place on the street, very close to retail park and train station! staff responding quickly for query fixed my bath in 2 days! overall very good would defo recommend

This is really one of the best accommodation I have come across, I have recommended it for my friends as well. I school in Wolverhampton but my accommodation is in Coventry. I love everything about this student accommodation amount which is their social activities, keep in touch with their occupants during their down time among all, the staffs are really welcoming and ready to help in their own little capacity when in difficult time regardless of your ethnicity.

Moving into Queen’s Park House, I was unsure how I would feel as I was used to a house share — but I have to say it was one of the best decisions of my life! It goes without saying that the value for money is incredible, and the rooms are a beautiful design that gives us everything we could possibly need. By far the best part of it though is that I could book flats with my friends, meaning that myself and two other friends were able to move into the same flat at the same time! This has been incredibly helpful for us as it provides us with security whilst keeping familiarity. And speaking of security — the security and management team here are fantastic! They’re always so friendly and have been a joy to see throughout the year.

It's is a good experience at the accomodation. All the facilities are there for you and hence is a value for money and the street itself has a lot of shops so that you can get your necessary items for kitchen ,room and for your personal needs at the nearest distance. You can choose between single room ( ensuit) and studio rooms. A major issue to say is that we can't connect with people as there is no common game room or living room or any activities to connect with people.

All bills included but bathrooms are small eg. Shower and sink. I rebooked due to good value for money but it is hard to find clean flatmates unless you book with friends. Can be relatively noisy as you’re living in the city eg. During weekdays there may be construction work. The hoovers aren’t very good as they need cleaning out but you can’t access it and when I requested a new one they didn’t give me one, but all other issues I had I could report easily and they would fix it in a timely fashion
