Paradise Student Village Biography
Paradise Student Village offers a vibrant, buzzing student community just a five-minute walk from Coventry University. It couldn’t be in a better location with the city centre and the train station just a quick ten-minute walk from the residence.
Paradise Student Village is one of the largest student accommodations in Coventry and offers a range of amenities to ensure an enjoyable student experience. Among these features include one of the largest student gyms in Coventry, a cinema room/media centre, an outdoor area and a lively common room equipped with large screen TVs. There’s also an on-site cafe where you can enjoy a coffee and catch up with friends. The friendly on-site customer service team is there to help with any needs you may have and arrange regular social events. There are also handy facilities such as a laundrette and bike storage. You can also benefit from having on-site maintenance, WiFi, all bills included and CCTV.
The residence offers a range of modern ensuite rooms in cluster flats or a spacious studio room that comes self-contained with a kitchen, ensuite, and living space. Rooms come furnished with a bed, study area, and storage. Each shared flat has a fully furnished kitchen and living area.

The silver en suite (high floor) kitchens are shared between 5-16 people, depending on where you are allocated.
If you end up sharing with a larger number of people, the kitchen will be a double kitchen.

The Lower rooms are between the ground floor and 3rd floor, the Mid are on floors 4 to 8, and the Upper are from the 9th up to the 13th floor!

The kitchens can be shared between 6 to 15 rooms. It all depends on the size of the cluster. Obviously, the larget the group sharing the kitchen, the larger the kitchens and more facilities they have, so no need to worry about it being to small!

Most of the experience is quite good. However, there is no any opening windows in my room. So there are no any fresh air inside. This affects my mental health.

Good management and security on site. Bikes are not covered in the insurance policy, so be careful, mine was stolen. Poor wifi (Always under maintenance). All round a good experience living here, but would recommend living in a flat with friends, to avoid uncomfortable living situations with random flat mates. Would recommend for first year students, definitely not for postgraduate students.

During lockdown, students were forced to pay full rent with no discount. Most student accommodations in the UK did however AXO would not allow it. That is the biggest complain
