Great accommodation. Everyone gets their own room. At most you’ll be sharing a bathroom with one other person. College gym is always clean. Laundry room is standard (remember to wipe down the whole washing machine before you use it)

I’m so upset to be allocated this college as I had wanted a catered one. How far is it to the nearest supermarket

I know a Lidl 40 min walk away

I am at South, lived in college 2020/21. The nearest supermarkets are in town so a decent 25 minute walk, hour round trip. I'd recommend ordering online though, you can collaborate with the rest of your housemates and get delivery from most major supermarkets to near the reception and that makes life a lot easier. I know you're disappointed you didn't get what you wanted, I also applied elsewhere
