Covid-19 Response
- TEACHING MODE:
- Blended learning.
- OPEN DAYS:
- On-campus open days on 26th Jun, 2nd Oct, 15th Oct & 19th Nov.
- TEACHING NOTES:
- The vast majority of our scheduled teaching and learning activities is in person on campus in Cheltenham and Gloucester. This will continue in 2022/23. While they do have some specialist blended learning programmes (which are advertised as such), most of their students are on campus for the vast majority, if not all, of their learning activities. They would like everyone to continue wearing a face covering in crowded and enclosed spaces.

Oxstalls is great for just rolling out of bed into lectures but there are 0 comfy communal areas
Good halls, big rooms and friendly house mates
Good conditions , easy to travel to town and back/good location, friendly campus

Could and should be refurbished as the price is going up on these halls but nothing new is being added. Cannot fault the location however as it is right on campus.
Best space for students to get to know eachother, safe and friendly staff around the area and the location was perfect distance for most students.
If your lessons are based at oxstalls campus then it’s great cause you can roll up in your pyjamas. People set the fire alarms off a lot during the first few months so there’s sleepless nights. Su bar near too but could be bigger with more things to do
Lovely halls and had the best time living there as everyone got soo close and made a good social circle. Would definitely recommend Oxstalls as a hall of residence
Location was good because it was so close to the uni but it was a 30/40 minute walk from town. The rooms were clean (obviously if you kept it clean) but social spaces ended up dirty because of other flatmates usually.
They put 8 lads in one flat and didn't expect carnage #coopersfuckboys2015-2016
Prime location as it was on the uni site but it was far too expensive. My room was half the size of the others but I had to pay the same price. There were 4 washing machines for nearly 250 students and the social space wasn’t overly welcoming.
Good halls, a good sense of family in all the halls and feels very safe and secure with 24hr security
A very basic living spaces with everything you need and no more, however private showers is a bonus of this hallls
Excellent. I often miss Oxstalls campus purely based on the living quarters which provided excellent privacy, fully operational cooking appliances, en-suite with LARGE study desk. Cleaning was excellent, each week. Wifi could be wired or wireless, as well for gaming consoles, excellent connection. Value for money is questionable, £120 per week during 2015 but appears to have gone up to £140 per week. Perhaps largely due to students abusing heating/water/electricity costs.
Absolutely FANTASTIC!! Despite room sharing and sharing bathrooms, the experience was incredibly fun, dynamic, sociable, freeing!! Lopes is the best first year accommodation and I wish I could travel in a time machine just to experience it for one more night
