I have made so many amazing friends in my building, and the social space is a great place to hang out and watch movies…. Not forgetting the study room if you need a change of scenery from your flat! The entire team are incredibly kind and supportive. Their door is always open 24/7 if you need a chat, so you know the building is in safe hands. Big shout out to Cassie (day staff) and Rory (Night owl) who are always up for a chat and will make you feel so welcome. Couldn’t recommend this place enough :)

The Depot Biography
The Depot is just a 10-minute walk from Bath City Centre and offers students modern studio accommodation and great facilities. The location of this accommodation is convenient for students at the University of Bath and Bath Spa with both just a short bus journey away and regular bus services available.
The Depot has a kitted-out social area with plenty of comfy seating, a communal Playstation, book sharing station and a pool table. It’s the perfect place to relax after university lectures and socialise with friends. When the sun decides to shine there’s a spacious outdoor courtyard and BBQ area to enjoy. Students at The Depot can also make use of a quiet study space, onsite laundry facilities, fast WiFi, secure bike storage, and the friendly onsite team is available to lend a hand 24/7.
There are seven types of contemporary self-contained studios to choose from depending on your budget and how much space you want. Every fully furnished room comes with a double bed, ample storage, a handy study space, equipped kitchen and private bathroom.

Had a really great year here. All the staff were so helpful and friendly especially Reuben! He was always smiling and was able to help me with any problem, and so friendly! Couldn’t recommend more.

This was a saviour for me as I needed to shift in the middle of the semester as my dependant got a visa. the staff is very nice. Staying with your partner is with no extra charges. Also, I did not know anyone in the UK so had to not worry about a guarantor as they take international guarantors too. the studios was all cleaned and given to me. the place is very clean and quiet and there is actual sunlight in the rooms.
There is not a single negative thing I can say about this accommodation. The rooms are very modern and the location is perfect. But more importantly, the management team is amazing. They are very helpful, caring and understanding. I wish I found this place earlier. I cannot recommend it enough. :)

My experience staying at the Depot has been nothing short of amazing ! The reception staff are super friendly and a delight to talk to, they ensure everything is taken care of immediately and have your best interests at heart. Despite the ongoing pandemic and the lack of social events, I have been able to make some wonderful friends in the building. I would 100% recommend this accomodation to individuals who really love their own space and wish to be closer to town.

The best and most comfortable accommodation to take. The building is safe and secure. The staff is available 24x7 to help you with any problem you face. Would a 100% recommend to everyone over raking uni accomodation.

The staff are all amazing with 24/7 support and security on site. The rooms are a little expensive however any issues that I have had were resolved quickly by John the lovely maintenance man :)

I am just disgusted by how the company treats tenants. The reception staff is amazing but management is terrible. They have no interest in being accommodating during a global pandemic. he water is disgusting and white instead of transparent and the drainage is non-existent. I would NOT recommend this property especially for foreign students who get exploited by the company. No care that they are dealing with students, all they care about is how much they can juice from each individual.
Hello, I am sorry to hear that you feel this way . In regards to the water it is not on site issue but water in South is hard and that is why you can find white stains. The Depot is very multicultural site . The team and students come from all over the world and we do not at all exploit foreign students. The Depot has been helping students since the start of the pandemic . We put many things in place to protect the tenants and the team. Location is very good. Shopping is very near . Depot staff is very good at helping. Manager is very friendly and supportive. I would like more social events . Studio is good size and the sun comes in . WiFi could be faster .

Very well maintained accommodation . Good location and very friendly team and manager. It has been my home . The bus stop is 1 minute walk. Supermarket is very near. You can walk to the centre in few minutes.
Covid-19: Depot is kept very clean. The team has introduced social distancing so it feels safe. We are still able to collect parcels which is great .

Depot feels like home. The staff is very friendly and very helpful .Studios are very good size and have lots of storage. It feels safe to live here . Issues are resolved very quickly.
Covid-19: Social distancing was done through out the property. Property is disinfected very often and kept clean. Staff are still on site to support us and we were offered option to be released from 1.05.2020.

extremely wifi, unable to watch even 720p video lift 360/365 days out of order keys issue took 1 month to fix rent fee increased almost 20 but quality dropped

Since I'm living in the corner room, the atmosphere here is quite nice. The only thing that seems to be the problem occasionally is the noise from the roads. Sometimes, other occupants who use the social room with loud noise could be a little bit irritation. Othern that those mentioned factors, the accommodation is pretty nice for long living.
Manager is really friendly and caring (always wanting the best for residents), staff in the week are fantastic; weekend staff not as swift to respond. Room quite comfortable and well contained. Price is a little steep, as for nearly £300 a month I'd expect something with better running WiFi, and a more regular clean of the rooms.
Thank you for your comments and that you find that the stuff during the week meets your expectations, however we are working to improve on all areas of Customer Service with our weeked staff. Regarding rooms not kept clean regularly could you specify as to which rooms?. At The Depot as you know residents are responsible for their own cleaning of their studios. If you require someone to clean your Studio you are more that welome to have an idependant cleaner come as long as you let us know so that we can sign them into the building and give them access.
Great place to live, friendly staff, onsite maintenance is very helpful. I feel very safe here. Nice facilities love a game of pool after a long lecture and make alot of use of the study room. All rooms are studios with a modern kitchen. I've booked for my 2nd year.

The team are really helpful and friendly and support us with maintenance jobs quickly. It's in a great location, the study room is great and I love a game of pool to switch off after long lectures. My studio is nicely furnished and is very comfortable. I would not hesitate to book here, I love it. I have booked for my 2nd year too!

waiting for keys to be remade since 3 months - not joking. cannot enter building and room unless reception people help me get through. staff is okay, not always helpful. security and manager not nice. very overpriced for unhelpful staff
We are sorry to hear that you think that the Staff at the Depot are not as helpful as they could be, however am sure you have noticed that he Key issue has been resolved as fast as it could have been as we where wating for the right parts, although you might have felt frustrated that you did not have you did have access to the building and yo uour room the stuff where here to give you access to the building and your room. We are sorry to hear that you find that Security and Mnager are not up to your standards however if you woud like to discuss this further please could you come to the office.
Staff and management are friendly (security staff are incompetent!) Stress to organise WiFi from Glide. Having to wait for fobs/keys to be reset - not fair on the staff. Noisy neighbours who don't listen to the rules.
A comfortable room, but overall quite expensive with some incompetent staff.
We are sad to hear that you think our Staff is incompetant, if you would like to come down and see us in Office and tell us what we are doing wrong then we shallbe able to work on the problem and try and fix it for you.
the wifi isnt really working very well and the corridor of the floor isnt clear regularly.
We are sorry that you find the wifi does not meet your expectations however if you had come down to the office we could have advised you on steps to take which you can still do now. Regarding floors being cleaned regulalry on corridors our Housekeeper is a here part time and when she is here she does attend to cleaning the corridors.

Turtle-slow WIFI, the reception told me to contact with provider while the provider did not do anything but asking me to provide information, and it has already taken them 1 month but nothing has been fixed yet. Very small study area
Unfortunatly Glide is a seperate company from us and therefor we cannot reslove these issues ouselves. If you require quicker wifi we recommend that you purchace a wifi booster to meet your wifi requirements.
I enjoyed my stay at the Depot so much, the staff there are helpful and responsive whenever I need something they are there to help including the night shift staff as well. The room was nice and clean, the room’s storage and closet are usefully arranged. For the students who enjoy a quiet stay, this student accommodation is totally for you.

Very modern and well appointed rooms with good internet and social spaces. Staff are friendly, helpful and professional. Reception is manned 24/7 which is always convenient. Ideal location for students to go to uni or access the city and local amenities. Great place to live if you can afford it and don't mind living by yourself (you can have friends and guests over).

The room is very clean and modern! It is also really close to supermarkets, the bus stop to uni and a walk away from the city centre. Really nice study spaces downstairs. :)

Beautifully designed studio flats with an amazing location 10 minutes from the city centre and the U1 bus stop right outside! The staff are lovely and can help with any queries you may have. The apartment building is always immaculate and you can feel safe knowing there's 24/7 security. Rent tends to be more expensive than usual accommodation but its amenities make up for this; you can now choose a shorter occupancy (e.g., academic year lets or semester lets).

Overall good if you like to luv on your own and have your own space. Social events happen often if you want to meet people in the building. Quite expensive but so close to the city which is great!
