It’s comforting knowing that everyone is figuring things out together in their own way. What I really enjoy about my course is how relevant it feels. Business Psychology isn’t just theory—it actually connects to real-life situations. We learn about things like motivation, leadership, and consumer behavior, and I often find myself noticing these concepts in everyday situations. The lecturers are supportive and approachable, which makes a big difference, especially when you’re still building confidence. read more

Mainly speaking in regard to the Medway campus, where the labs are situated. No particular complaints, wifi in most rooms save for a few odd ones is good, decent campus. The Greenwich campus' location is obviously better situated and visually more beautiful, and besides the nearby library there are also nicer free workspace areas on site you can quietly work in. Lecturers for the most part (save for like 1 or 2) have been great, very helpful inside and outside classes/labs. read more

Choosing the University of Greenwich was the best "main character" decision I ever made. Honestly, walking to a 9 AM lecture through the Old Royal Naval College makes me feel like I’m about to star in a period drama, even when I’m actually just late and carrying a lukewarm coffee. The campus is so beautiful it’s distracting, I’ve spent more time taking aesthetic photos of the buildings than I have reading my textbooks (don’t tell my tutor). But it’s not just a pretty face. Being a 2nd year here has been a literal journey. I spent months messaging random people to see if this place was legit, and they weren’t lying , the community is top-tier. I’ve sat through enough seminars to become a professional "nodder," but I’ve actually left feeling inspired enough to take on the world. The highlight? Learning to skate on campus. Nothing humbles you faster than losing your balance on world-class architecture in front of a hundred tourists. Whenever i feel homesick I go to Greenwich Park. read more

I’ve found the way of student life at the University of Greenwich to be fairly old fashioned. Living in Avery Hill’s student accommodation is an expectedly satisfactory experience, despite its cons. I’ve struggled with faulty appliances, heater not working, microwave busted, hot water irrevocably switching to freezing cold mid-shower. All standard student living issues in my opinion, despite being annoying. The worst, most borderline dissatisfactory issue I’ve faced has been two or three accounts of finding wiggly, dusty looking creatures, like insects, stuttering across my desk’s surface. I’m completely unsure of their name, but they resemble little grey worms, but of a light, dusty texture. Like out of a piece of fiction, they look like little characters. Ashamedly, I have attempted to kill which ones I’ve seen, purely for fear of the unknown. I’m yet to contact my university accommodation to discuss the unidentifiable critters so they remain my biggest mystery at home… read more

I’ve found the teaching quality to be good overall. Most lecturers are approachable, helpful, and genuinely care about their students’ progress. The courses are quite practical, which I appreciate because they focus on developing skills that are actually useful in real-life careers. Sometimes the workload can be intense, but it pushes you to stay organised and manage your time better. One of the best things about Greenwich is its diversity. You meet people from all over the world, which makes the atmosphere really open and welcoming. It’s easy to make friends and learn from different cultures.
