my experience has been quite pleasant as the university facilities are nice but it is hard to get emersed in the Greenwich society

I am not able to understand anything
The University of Greenwich offers a strong balance between academic quality, career focus, and student experience. Its historic riverside campus, modern facilities, and diverse student community make it an attractive choice for both UK and international students. The university holds a TEF Gold rating for teaching excellence and has been recognized as an Academic Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Research, reflecting its growing academic reputation. Students appreciate the supportive lecturers, multicultural environment, and opportunities for placements and internships. The campuses — particularly Greenwich and Medway — are well-equipped, and the location provides good access to central London and employment opportunities. However, there are areas for improvement. Some students report inconsistencies in teaching quality, slow feedback, and administrative delays. Accommodation can also be expensive compared to other universities.
The University of Greenwich offers a vibrant and supportive learning environment, with dedicated lecturers, modern facilities, and strong career-focused programs. Its beautiful campuses, diverse community, and welcoming atmosphere make it a great place to grow academically and personally, while preparing students well for future success.
Feels like a home away from home. If you enjoy the multicultural idea of studying together and getting exposure to meet people from all over the place, this is the place. Its so fun to be a part of such an amazing university where its just not about studies but an overall balance of fun together with study. The practical methods of study is very intriguing that draws you to attend class everyday without a miss. Moreover, what could be better than studying in such a unique and iconic landmark? Greenwich maritime campus is located within UNESCO World Heritage Site. Amazing isn’t it? Like i did, you’ll also love it here.
My Greenwich Experience Studying at the University of Greenwich has honestly been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! The lecturers are so supportive and genuinely want to see you do well. The campus is beautiful, every time I walk through, it still amazes me. I’ve met people from so many different backgrounds, and the sense of community here makes you feel like you truly belong. From the clubs and events to the opportunities that help you grow in confidence and skills, Greenwich really gives you everything you need to shine. 💚
I love my university environment . It's so welcoming & peaceful .
Being in the final year of my BSc degree, I find beinga student at Greenwich both a privilege and an honour. The campus itself is home to multiple films and series that I've loved my entire life. Not to mention that the architecture of the buildings itself takes my breath away every time I am lucky enough to sit in for lectures. The faculty is always very helpful and prompt in their responses, and there is a variety to choose from regards to societies. It truly feels like every possible idea has been turned into a success society that are so creative and innovative with their events. The WiFi can always be better though!
Mostly everything is good, the wifi connectivity is slow but available even in buses
I think Greenwich university is a beautiful campus. There's a range of activities for domestic and international students. I would recommend the teaching staff and research abilities. However, the WiFi could be better. People are really nice and friendly here, and I'm glad I came.
University of Greenwich has developed facilities and opportunities to help students grow on every level of their education. From the beautiful environment to the employability support everything has been designed to develop both personally and professionally.
This is a lovely university with a good range of activities and clubs, the food in the canteen is quite nice and the lecturers are extremely good at teaching. I am able to access recorded lectures which is great.
The classroom and the facilities are really nice. The teachers are very supportive and respectful.
Extraordinary campus with brilliant staff and students. I feel supposed with every aspect of my degree e.g. career help, module assistance and/or joining societies and communities.
I’m really glad I chose the University of Greenwich. The campus itself is beautiful and has a very welcoming atmosphere, which makes studying here a lot more enjoyable. What stands out most for me is the support from lecturers and staff—they’re approachable, willing to guide you, and genuinely want you to succeed. The Employability team also does a great job of connecting us with opportunities, workshops, and events that prepare us for life after university. The student community is diverse and friendly, which has given me the chance to meet people from all over the world and learn from different perspectives. Of course, like any university, there are challenges such as busy timetables and balancing studies with part-time work, but I feel the environment here helps you grow both personally and academically. Overall, Greenwich has been a positive experience, giving me both knowledge and confidence for the future. also the uni has a great placement rate near by 96%
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Studying at the University of Greenwich has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The campus itself is stunning, with a mix of historic architecture and modern facilities that create an inspiring place to learn. The location by the River Thames adds to the charm, and being so close to central London offers endless opportunities for networking, work placements, and cultural experiences. The academic support here is excellent — lecturers are approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about students’ success. The courses are well-structured, combining theory with practical learning that prepares you for real-world challenges. Beyond academics, Greenwich has a welcoming and diverse student community. There are plenty of societies, events, and activities that make it easy to meet people and feel part of something bigger. The university also provides strong career guidance and resource
Living in the University of Greenwich accommodation has been a positive experience overall. The location is convenient and near to my course building with easy access to campus, public transport, and nearby shops. The rooms are a good size for student living there and the shared facilities like kitchen, laundry, common areas are well-maintained and functional. I heard from the previous students that the accommodation team is generally responsive and helpful when an issues arise and there the security good, which makes it feel safe. The social aspect is also a plus that is it’s easy to meet other students and make friends. Yes it can get a bit noisy at times, and like most student housing, it can feel a little pricey for what you get but Still the experience has been comfortable and supportive overall, making it a solid choice for students new to London.
It was a great experience until now
The university is great there are lot of fun people to meet especially from different backgrounds. The staff is great and very helpful and hall are clean and spacious.
I had a good experience. I studied MSC Computer Science. All the professors are experts in their field. The curriculum is decent and challenging at the same time. The student union is good. Labs and other facilities are really good.
The University of Greenwich provides a welcoming and diverse environment, with modern facilities and stunning campuses. Lecturers are supportive and the courses are taught with a good balance between theory and practical learning. The campus atmosphere is friendly, and there are plenty of activities and societies, making it easy to settle in and build connections. Overall, Greenwich is a great choice for anyone seeking a strong student community, beautiful surroundings, and quality teaching
I love everything about this uni
The campus is famously beautiful but that also means half the time there’s filming going on where they block half the campus and it takes an extra 15 mins to walk around the campus which is a little unfair considering we pay to be there. Generally slow service not much support offered if timetables don’t align. Less resources than other universities
Although there could be more diversity in club options, the student's union, careers service and internet are top notch and consistently great.
This is my first year, overall the athmosphere is really welcoming. Really enjoying the buildings, teachers, and students. Its a great university.
The campus architecture is gorgeous and is kept clean, some lifts in some buildings do not work however, the classes can get a bit confusing to find sometimes. There are many clubs and societies for students to join. The Students Union at Greenwich is incredibly active and are always holding a variety of events so every student feels they have something for them at Greenwich. The WiFi and Internet is a slow in some spots around campus. The Greenwich Careers Service is always ready to help students find employment, consider placements and internships, build a CV etc.
Totally good university, i'm extremely amazed since the very first moment i areived here
My experience as an international student in the university of Greenwich has been interesting, fun and exciting. I have met amazing people, made friends and developed my self.
Looks absolutely amazing and is very easy to get around
I love the main building,it is as an immersing-experience in an ancient time. I prefer the outside looking which clash with the modern interiors. I love the green surrounding the campus but, I think it might be improved. Peraphs, it would be nice to do more gardening and involve students as well, to grow their own food, maybe vegetables and fruits that can be sold into the shop of the university. I think that a huge part of the garden is not fully exploited and there is a wide margin to unleash the full sustainable potential in a circular economy perspective. The staff who work in the uni is friendly and kind, I can feel a lot of support. I feel there is space for everyone and I'm not talking ab physical space. I everyone is included, recognized and appriciete. Moreover, I' m grateful that a course about sexuality is mandatory to all new students, I always have considered that the more a topic is made a 'taboo' the more it contributes to general ignorance and misinformation.
As an international student, I would say the University of Greenwich is well organised and strive to give the best experience to students. There is a wide range of support available to students from academics to wellbeing and finance.
Honestly, I really like the vibe of the university. The Greenwich campus is beautiful – the old buildings and the river view make it feel special every day. The atmosphere is friendly and diverse, so you don’t feel out of place, even as an international student. There are lots of nice spots to study or just hang out with friends, and overall the campus feels safe and welcoming. Being here definitely makes studying more enjoyable.
I love it. Amazing people that I get to connect with. I gained so many awesome friends. The system of the uni is incredibly good and systematic.
overall the location is nice. quite a lot of space to study. however being able to contact staff should be easier
Great student accommodation with a few areas for improvement I stayed at MC Milan Students Village during my academic year in Milan, and overall, it was a positive experience. The residence offers modern and well-maintained facilities, with comfortable rooms that are perfect for student life. Each unit comes with a private bathroom and a well-equipped kitchenette, which was very convenient. Pros: Location: Conveniently situated close to several universities and public transport links. It’s easy to get around the city. Security: The building is secure with keycard access and 24/7 reception, which made me feel safe throughout my stay. Community: There’s a good mix of international students, and the residence organizes social events that help you meet people and make friends. Amenities: Study areas, laundry rooms, and common spaces are clean and functional. The gym is small but useful for quick workouts. Cons: Price: It’s slightly on the expensive side compared to other student accomm
My experience at the University of Greenwich has been amazing overall. The campus is beautiful and very student-friendly, and the staff are always supportive and ready to help. The learning environment is encouraging and diverse, which helped me adapt quickly as an international student. I also really appreciated the various opportunities provided for career development and placements. The WiFi and internet access have been excellent—reliable for both my academic needs and downtime streaming. I’d definitely recommend this university to fellow international students looking for a welcoming and resourceful place to study.
University could offer more but performs well in the stuff it does.
I began my MBA Global course in April 2025 at the University of Greenwich, Maritime Campus, and I must say, my experience so far has been nothing short of incredible. From day one, the faculty and professors have been very approachable, and genuinely invested in our academic growth. Their real-world insights, diverse backgrounds, and interactive teaching methods make every lecture engaging and impactful. The Maritime Campus itself is stunning a perfect blend of historical architecture and modern facilities. The study spaces, libraries, and on-site amenities are thoughtfully designed to support a productive and comfortable student life. What really stands out, however, is the strong sense of community and support. The student engagement and support teams go above and beyond to ensure we feel welcomed, heard, and supported throughout our journey. The Student Union also plays a big role in bringing energy and inclusivity to campus life. Excited for my academic journey ahead!
A great university to start your career
It’s amazing to be a student at University of Greenwich. It so many things to offer from its beautiful campus to outstanding teaching environments. Everything is pretty good about this university. I love it here.
Campus along with the facilities is excellent according to me. Career services such as target jobs and in campus job fairs, helped me identify plethora of jobs and opportunities. Internet through wifi in the university helped me attend online lectures.
Wonderful place, atmosphere, friendly teachers, a perfect uni anyone could study from
I am a masters student in Electrical & Electronic Engineering at university of Greenwich. University has 3 campus. There is inter-campus bus service between them. So, access the campuses is easy. All of the campus got large library. Specially the drill hall library in the Medway campus. The teachers & staff is very helpful. The internet / WiFi has a good connectivity in the campuses. The engineering laboratory are also enriched with components. The university also has good accommodations facilities.
My experience at the university of Greenwich was a perfect one, from my lecturers and the way they delivered their ideas which made it more interesting. At Greenwich, i also had the opportunity to undertake a placement year which was facilitated by a supportive team from Cv review, workshop, applications and to the final interview. I highly recommend the University of Greenwich
University of Greenwich os more than enough for you if you have ambition but to be honest if you are average you shouldn’t be excepting much because you have to build your way at Greenwich
"Studying at the University of Greenwich as an international student has been a transformative experience. One of the best university in London
Bad experience, from the profs to the facilities to the programme
Pier Quays is an absolute delight🥂 a place that truly feels like a warm embrace. The guys at Reception stand out-calm, efficient & full of helpful advice that helps you navigate few bold situations with clarity. It’s a deeply nurturing environment to call home & I’m thankful for the effort they put into keeping it that way
Studying Psychology at the University of Greenwich has been both challenging and rewarding. The lecturers are supportive and knowledgeable, especially in areas like social psychology, mental health, and research methods. One of the things I appreciated most was the mix of theory and practical application — we weren’t just reading textbooks; we were learning how to apply psychology in real-world settings. The campus itself is beautiful, especially the Greenwich site — it’s genuinely inspiring to study somewhere with such history and great views! There are plenty of resources available, from the library to academic workshops. It’s also a very diverse and welcoming environment, which made it easy to make friends and feel part of the community. That said, I think some areas could be improved — particularly the speed of feedback on assignments and access to placement opportunities. But overall, I feel that this course gave me a solid foundation in psychology and helped me grow both academ
The accommodation is always spotless, with consistently high standards of cleanliness. The social spaces are amazing and popular, making them a great place for students to hang out. However, the overall social experience was just okay and nothing particularly special. The internet and WiFi connection were excellent throughout the stay, providing a perfect setup for both studying and entertainment.
The University of Greenwich in the UK offers an excellent student experience with a beautiful and historic campus that provides modern facilities, spacious libraries, and reliable high-speed internet access throughout. The university’s active Students’ Union organizes a wide range of events and provides strong support services, helping students feel engaged and connected. There are numerous clubs and societies for all interests, creating a vibrant and inclusive community. Career services are also top-notch, offering CV support, interview preparation, workshops, and job opportunities to help students plan for a successful future. Overall, it’s a great place to study, grow, and enjoy university life.
Lack of toilets and not very accessible, but a very beautiful campus to study at. Surrounding area is absolutely lovely with lots of great food options and things to do on a lunch break.

The University of Greenwich offers a welcoming and diverse environment for international students, with modern facilities and a historic campus that's visually stunning. The support services—such as visa advice, academic assistance, and career guidance—are generally strong, helping ease the transition to UK life. Lecturers are approachable and many courses offer a good balance of theory and practical application. The location in London provides great opportunities for networking, part-time jobs, and cultural experiences. However, some students feel that administrative processes can be slow, and accommodation costs in London may be high. Overall, it's a great place to study, especially for those looking for an international community and a career-focused education.
as an international student, the university has been very accommodating and the students and faculty there, really friendly.
It’s been a good three years at this university. I would say their careers opportunities sent via email are so helpful and constant. Always able to find opportunities.
Supportive university with plenty of opportunities for work and learning. The lecturers are helpful, knowledgeable and passionate about what they teach
It is a good university, there is a lot of help from tutors and external academics skills hub.
I studied for my Master’s in Food Safety and Quality Management at the University of Greenwich’s Medway Campus, a historic and professional environment shared with other universities. The program is accredited by the Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST) and focuses on global food safety systems, HACCP, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. With access to well-equipped laboratories, experienced lecturers, and strong industry links, the course provided a perfect balance of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Medway’s close-knit student community and excellent facilities made it an ideal place to advance my expertise in food safety.
So far the best university I have everbeen in London, everything is well covered , from the student support to the education system I will rate this university 9.5/10.

The faculty is knowledgeable, and the campus is well-located with excellent transport links. It’s a great place for both academic growth and personal development, making it an ideal choice for students.
**Review of University of Greenwich** Starting at the University of Greenwich has been an exciting yet challenging experience. Like any major transition, it took some time to adjust to a new environment, new people, and the university’s pace. But once I got the hang of it, things began to fall into place. The university offers a wide range of resources to support students, from excellent libraries and study spaces to workshops and career services. There's really no shortage of help or opportunities available. However, one challenge I’ve faced is navigating all the information provided on Moodle. While the platform is full of useful resources, it can be difficult to find what you're looking for at times. There’s so much content, and without clear organization, it can feel overwhelming to locate specific course materials or important updates. Despite this, the university does a great job of providing the tools and facilities students need to succeed. Once you get familiar with the sys
Good experience. Supportive team
Very good place to stay recommend
The people are nice and the service is there, and whenever there's a need, they try to meet it
University is very nice, lots of fun things to do outside of it as well
Good wifi and good university classes, a lot of events organized
There are a wide array of societies but they are not very well advertised. The teaching staff are incredibly supportive and give excellent feedback.
Campus is good, location is amazing, library building is usually very crowded and very hard to get seats during normal working times, and the internet could be improved as lots of areas have poor coverage
amazing time at this university
Good WiFi and good location. Furniture could be improved as there are a couple minor scratches.
Taekwondo society is amazing. The course could be more up to date and teachers need to be more helpful
it has been a good experience and is in a lovely area
Good university, they offer good education and courses as well as good social services
The campus is stunning, the staff and tutors are qualified, patient and understanding. One of the best University life/experience in London.
Good university, very pretty campus
