As an LSE student I’ll try to be completely unbiased. It’s one of the hardest no-nonsense Russell Group unis with a vibrant culture for people interested in learning, developing and making something out of themselves. If you’re doing a quantitative course like me you’ll be displeased with the people you meet but the opposite can be said if you’re in a more qualitative course. I guess LSE attracts smart people, and many smart people aren’t the most pleasant to hang out with. Careers Staff aren’t really concerned with you because they very much believe if you’re at LSE, you know what you want and it is a thing here with the plethora of career oriented societies you’ll here about. Many people hate the mindless hustle culture at LSE. I’m all in for the grind but the sheer number people who do it with the sole aim of becoming a corporate crony will leave you baffled. I was like that in my first year and realised, that you’ve got to think on what you want to do here before coming to LSE.

Amazing faculty, decent social life.
I absolutely love LSE! I know that the overall student satisfaction is not optimal, and that some people suffer from a lot of stress. But my year has been, so far, eye-opening and amazing! I have been able to further specialise in my areas of interest, while at the same time opening up to new disciplines and subjects that I had never even heard about before. I still think the tuition fee is very expensive, certainly compared to other universities in London, but I would not want to change my experience for anything else.
The university facilities are good. Teaching quality is top notch and staff are always helpful and accommodating.
Great Professors, nice contact, clean campus, but the toilets are often dirty or broken
Best experience 🫶🏻 Good exposure
LSE is a great place to study at
Amazing uni and a wonderful society
Great! Jennifer is a great staff.
The new study spaces and buildings are great, and the SU and clubs offer a near never-ending rollout of fun activities and opportunities to get involved. The careers service in particular is spectacular (advice is tailored to every personal situation)
Super stressful and many deadlines.
