overall very good facilities and atmosphere

Societies have been the highlife of my time at nottingham
The culture we had back in India at home is completely different from what it has been till now in here. It has been a wonderful journey till now and hope this continues going ahead
I love the campus. And it’s such a supportive environment as well. Makes me feel at home.
I think the campus is very beautiful, but some buildings and classrooms are a bit old due to age, and the classrooms are usually small. But the clubs here are more abundant than you can imagine, and there are so many social activities that you can always find something you are interested in. There are also many lectures or activities about careers. But I have to say that the school's network is not well developed, which is something that needs to be improved.
I am happy for being student of university of Nottingham
The campus is very beautiful, and there are lots of places to study. Careers service is great, helpful and informational events are held regularly. The internet is very bad however, and in some lecture halls there is barely any connection. I believe this is a major issue. However- overall, I love the university!
There are lots of green spaces on the campus as well as study spaces. There are plenty of societies to join which I have found to be welcoming.
Some could feel they are missing out on the university living experience by being in certain accommodation like mine due to a lack of social spaces etc
Campus is great, the buildings are nice and it’s also nice to have the lake there too.
i would honestly recommend uni of to everyone specifically athletes as the facilities are of such high standard that i have never experienced before
Campus is great. Lots of wildlife helps you to really feel connected to nature. And a nice clock tower that you can see from far away (and hear from far away too!)
Good housing with great location to the university.
The school offers a wide range of activities that cater to various aspects of life. Whether it’s personal development, academic growth, or career preparation, the school provides abundant opportunities for growth and exploration. These activities have greatly enriched my experience and allowed me to develop in multiple dimensions.
Very social and friendly. Internet a little sketchy at times but mostly good
My classes are in park campus. The campus full of facilities for students everything is their, libraries 24×7, different food courts in different buildings supportive facilities. Overall completely satisfied with university.
The experience with the university is totally outstanding
I have access to all sorts of resources and help from both lecturers and libraries. Everyone makes sure that the students always has that access and that they're always available and if not, we know the times to contact.

The internet is honestly horrible, but there are plans to improve it over the near future. Otherwise it’s a great campus and overall the student experience is good.
Very nice diverse student body with variety of experiences and support available. The teachers are very helpful and the software used such as Moodle etc is very helpful for studies. A nice green campus that is beautiful in the summer and winter . It is a very fun and inviting university

Just an amazing uni and city in regards to students, a vast variety of societies, amazing sports facilities with amazing results, and mooch being a great entertainment facility.
Great uni, great city, fun student union events
I like uni like the big campus. Sometimes the Wi-Fi is a bit hard to join but except from now everything is good. I think there’s a lot of societies. I think there’s something for everyone which has been quite nice and there’s always space for you to do what you need to do very easy to book out things.
My experience at the University has been a great one because the on-site food court/cafes and social spaces have been places where some of my best social memories have developed with my friends however my best memories overall have been spending time with my friends in modern libraries/learning building on-campus. All the late night learning sessions, bonding moments and fun learning sessions combined was an experience I won't forget.

Lots of fun and interesting societies. Campus is gorgeous and peaceful and fun to be on. Facilities of the university are world class. Eduroam has its issues.

Fantastic, state of the art sports facilities and fitness suit at a good price, beautiful, well manicured grounds, lecturers who are passionate about their subject, a trendy student bar. My first semester at the UoN has been fantastic!
My course, architecture is great. The student union could do more to make it more attractive to spend time at.
Very supportive university! Lots of communal spaces to meet new people and the societies have lots of options and opportunities. I feel apart of a community. The university has amazing resources and I enjoy attending!

The Wi-Fi is pretty good however if you are visiting from another university, it blocked you from accessing eduroam.

Great University with outstanding park spaces. Very well designed courses that you can tailor in order to ascertain what you might wish to specialise in as a future career. Transferrable skills are acquired throughout and helps broaden the scope of your future career plans.

As far as I’ve heard it’s all very good, though I’m not someone who gets heavily involved in clubs/ societies the ones I have been to I have enjoyed a lot and the events that have been advertised for those have been super good. In terms of WiFi there are spots as you walk around campus you can loose signal for a bit but it’s not overly long sections. On occasion since been in my first semester the wifi had perhaps gone down 2/3 times across a big section of campus and I have struggled to get connection to the WiFi 1/2 times despite automatic connection. It’s not a big issue at all as it’s solved very fast. The facilities are a lot. There’s many buildings on main campus and multiple libraries with lots of resources which is my favourite. Plus there are study spaces in many of the buildings too. Apart from main campus I have not been to the other ones so cannot say on how the facilities are.

Studying at the University of Nottingham has been an incredible experience. As a rugby player, the sports facilities here are top-notch, providing everything I need to train and compete at a high level. The rugby team is fantastic, and I’ve enjoyed being part of such a supportive and competitive group. The Student Union is also a great place to socialise, with a variety of events, clubs, and bars that make it easy to meet new people and unwind after a busy week. The campus itself is impressive, with modern facilities that make both studying and socialising enjoyable. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my time here – the University of Nottingham really offers a well-rounded student experience!

Good campus, pretty to walk around. WiFi is spotty in lecture halls when there is alot of people connected but overall okay to use.

There is no special experience about the school, the scenery of the campus is very good, really like a park, is a little tired climbing to class every day.

As a first generation university attendee in my family, I was nervous about many aspects of uni life but that soon changed. Living in halls in first year was an experience like no other; the people, the atmosphere and the events made me feel very welcomed very quickly. Life on campus felt like we were in our own bubble, catered towards optimising the university experience but, many people believe that after first year, the university and campus do not really matter much but in my case, that couldn’t be further from the truth. Being a part of various recreational sports societies in my latter years helped me feel like I was still a part of the university community. In the midst of all the recreational events, academia obviously had to take priority and the university’s career services were second to none in helping with all my questions and providing the best advice. Nottingham has soo much to offer and I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to study here.

I joined Nottingham as a post grad, starting my PhD in October 2023. I’ve experienced 2 other universities prior to this and honestly Nottingham is by far my favourite place to be. Campus is beautiful, the facilities are amazing, and there’s such a sense of community. I can’t speak for undergraduate courses but the post grad side is amazing.

UoN is a lovely, green campus with lots of facilities. The staff are helpful and interesting (especially in the school of social science). There are so many resources to help with careers, learning and student life as you adapt to uni. I have absolutely loved my uni experience and can’t recommend it enough

The University of Nottingham has been an enriching experience so far. The campus is beautiful, and the facilities, especially at Queen’s Medical Center, are top-notch. The faculty is supportive, and the diverse student body adds to a welcoming environment. There are plenty of societies and activities to join, making it easy to connect with others. The most interesting aspect of studying at my university for me is the support you get as a student, the staff are willing to support you academically and non-academic services like the Careers team and Student services attend to your queries on time both in person and virtually.

The campus is large and the environment is comfortable. The student services and support are excellent, meeting the needs of students in terms of role development, mental health, administrative services, etc. The teaching quality and the internship opportunities provided are also satisfactory.
