Good overall experience and good night life
"Nottingham city centre is a fantastic place to explore! There are so many things to see and do, from visiting the Nottingham Castle to shopping at the intu Victoria Centre. The city is also home to many great restaurants and bars, such as Bar Iberico and The Lace Market. If you're looking for a fun night out, you can't go wrong with Pryzm Nottingham, which has multiple rooms with different music genres to choose from. Overall, Nottingham city centre is a vibrant and exciting place to be!"

I absolutely love studying at Nottingham Trent! The campus is beautiful and modern, and there are always plenty of events and activities going on. The professors are knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects, and they make learning engaging and fun. The facilities are top-notch, with everything from state-of-the-art labs to cozy study spaces. Plus, the location is perfect - right in the heart of Nottingham with easy access to everything the city has to offer. Great university that offer great programs and graduate support
NTU has been a great University for my first year studies. As a Law student, there are so many opportunities offered as extra curricular activities such as practice moots, work experience and helpful workshops. The city campus is perfect as it is so central to Nottingham and is a great place to study. Additionally, the student social opportunities are endless from the student union with so many societies to join and social events to have fun and make new friends.

Just finished my first year here, fairly pleased with my experience. Living directly on campus is sure to have made my experience positive, but besides that the facilities are nice. Lots of construction currently happening but not really a surprise, just loud. Staff are friendly enough, no issues with lecture rooms, good 24/7 library for most of the year. I haven't used the SU or careers service much so I can't much speak to it, but based on friends' experiences they seem decent.

very good uni, would definitely recommend, the experience you have depends on the course you take, but overall i like it here, wouldn’t really choose any other university over it

The uni is located right in the city so is very convenient. Buildings are all still close by and easily accessible. They are many societies and events for students.
I believe there is much to improve such as the lacklustre of sessions that I was engaged in; after turning up to each session I felt I wasn’t learning anything and that it was a waste of time which I could of spent working on an assignment. Had a tutor who was useless and wasted our time to talk about things unrelated to the session.

Good facility with nice teaching staff, unforgettable experience
The location is perfect for student life, easy to get to and provides everything you could need, as well as offering a course for absolutely everyone and ensuring students are happy.
Nottingham Trent University has a good level of lecturing, good facilities and a very good social space
Taking an art course at Nottingham Trent you’ll have a great selection of different services and tutors for any practice you want to try
NTU gets a bad reputation but I've loved my time here, all of the staff are incredibly helpful and the facilities are fantastic for most of the campuses. everyone I know who's graduated has left with a job offer already in hand.

A bang average university nothing particularly special about it really depending on the course I would say look elsewhere this university is declining in how good it is , I would say it used to be a good university now I would say it’s bang average.

NTU is a very good university in general. It is in a very convenient location right at the heart of Nottingham.
My university is providing good resources to study and lectures are very experienced with huge knowledge which help for every student to be master on subject.they are making student ideas💡 into real by proving every resource to build that idea.
Nottingham Trent university is a great university to study at for a varitety of reasons. From the variety of quality courses and facilities available, to the amount of different societies and events going on, makes it perfect for those wanting to study well and have fun. As well as this, there is a a good services and help available for students for a variety of needs and inquires. It is a good place to study and socilase
Finding a part time job is really difficult, definitely start looking for one over the summer and apply before you arrive in September

Loved my time at NTU so far great night life and a crazy place to be. My lecturers have been very helpful and the services to help me get a placement were very good.
The staff in the school are all very nice and friendly. And all the facilities are good enough and suitable for my life in school.
The school environment is very good, but the teaching methods and scoring standards of each teacher are not uniform

NTU is a great and conducive environment for someone like me as an international student to socialize and meet a melting pot of cultures while being open-minded. The faculty is knowledgeable and dedicated to helping students succeed. The campus is very modern and well-equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The university offers a wide range of programs and the resources I use for my architecture course, supports my learning and development. Ive noticed that the student community is diverse and welcoming, making for a rich and engaging academic and social experience. Overall, NTU is a welcoming university that has so far provided me with an exceptional education and prepares me for success in my career choice of architecture.

I have been at NTU for 4 years now, did my bachelor's and currently doing my Masters. What I have to say is that the lecturers are incredibly passionate about their work and they are very approachable for advice on any questions or issues that you might have. The facilities are excellent and almost every year a new building is built or renovated.
Nottingham Trent is a great university. They offer a range of free opportunities to build your CV and there is a range of societies that allow you to have fun and feel welcomed.
I've loved going to university here. Its not perfect, no where is, but I've had supportive lecturers and a variety of opportunities while studying here. If you have a long term health condition (mental or physical) or get DSA you can get an access statement which is fantastic in giving accommodations such as extensions on assignments and longer library loans.

I could not flaw NTU. The whole university is so clean, modern and buzzy. It's made impossible to have a bad experience. The staff are so friendly and supportive and readily free to help you with any classwrok or career advice.
I love that NTU give us regular updates on career opportunities, especially the Art and Design area. We get regular Lectures on the best places to research for jobs and paid placements and in these lectures they also give advice on how to stay connected with companies, brands how to put yourself out there and create a good profile. A Positive on the facilities would be that there is a lot of space for quiet study time aswell as group projects. And one thing I really appreciate is that on my campus (City Campus), many of the buildings allow free laptop and MacBook rentals and for a courses like Design, this is so necessary if you don't have a laptop like me. Lastly, It is a very accommodating University even with safety of students.

Best student service. Various career opportunities. The campus is very spacious. And the library is very big and quiet. Lots of societies and sports society. Every week there are events at ntu bar.
Nottingham is a fun and vibrant university with so much to offer. The facilities are modern and open to all students. The social events and societies make it inclusive and engaging for all.
Incredibly friendly environment and staff, the nature walk around Clifton Campus is brilliant, especially if you get stressed out by lectures or anything.
Excellent and supportive tutors on the Interior Architecture and Design course. Software / IT issues can be frustrating at times but overall very happy with my experience at NTU
I have really enjoyed my experience here at Nottingham Trent university and I have made friends for life.
Nottingham Trent provides me with everything I need and more. Not just with university and my course but also with helping with my social life and living in another city.
Great uni, a great city I love it. Better than mates ones I have been to. all really close in the city and accommodation is really close too. Love the trams makes it so easy to pop anywhere.
NTU is well-known for its student's union and I think they offer a lot of support for their students but from my personal experience, I find that the events held by NTSU are not inclusive and mostly involve drinking.

When writing my LPC application, I had to write a long personal statement. Upon completion of this, I was able to walk straight into the careers and advice centre where there was no wait and a kind woman read over my personal statement with me without hesitation and gave me advice on it. I feel so lucky to have such support readily available and kind people to help.

I am final year Ecology and Conservation student at the Brackenhurst campus, where I have lived in halls for my first and now final year. Living on campus is a lovely green space, with great access to the city with the bus stop to Nottingham city center a 5 minute walk from my door. The library, cafe, bar and new Lyth building cafeteria are great facilities. There is a small shop on site, with limited options and times I have found. The only other shop for food in walking distance is a co-op in Southwell, however if you have access to a vehical a big food shop at more student friendly supermarkets is only 20 minutes away.

Trent has an ideal city campus that it right in the city centre and makes all resources accessible. The members of staff are friendly and the majority of lectures are very engaging. Trent offers a wide range of activities that celebrate diversity and culture and across the 3 campuses there is a huge range of societies to join. Having an enjoyable experience is important to the university which has made my 3 years there so much fun.

Tutors are always helpful and accessible and campus staff are also lovely! I would recommend students to choose Nottingham Trent to get a great university experience alongside social networking.
Despite covid years, I generally enjoyed my studies at Nottingham Trent University. There is plenty of opportunities, events and resources available.
Amazing University with excellent staff and resources. The social aspect is great and opportunities for everyone. Everyone is so supportive and helpful.
Overall it is a pretty good university, Clifton campus is beautiful if you ever get the chance to visit, the food is cheap and freshly made, and the courses are decent just a lot of stress which can be manageable.
